A Harold interview:

Harold: Ok tonight I am joined by the enigmatic and charismatic Dark Wolf. Now Wolf tell me I honestly never thought Id get to interview you, so why are you back? Bottom line, hoest to god truth, whyd you come back?

Harold: You're not Casper with unfinished business are you?

Dark Wolf: No, no unfinished business. I just got to a point in my life where I realized there are things I needed to do that are part of who I am and SFT is one of them.

Harold: : So what does that mean? You stopped trying to be normal and decided to embrace your true calling of being a wrestler or what? You gotta give me and my readers more.

Dark Wolf: Well there are people out in the world who finish high school, go to college and get their law degree, or their medical degre, they go and cant wait to start making the big bucks, they want to help the world, they want and want. But once they get there after a few years they start to wish they had taken some dancing classes, or learned to play an instrument, or do more sports. And they don't get the option to go back. I have the option of going back. I get that second chance. And after all the real life drama I have had, its good to be back where I belong.

Dark Wolf: IS that more of an answer?

Dark Wolf: It’s not an easy question; I've heard you don’t give the easy ones.

Harold: So you're done following the crowd, done with being complacent, so tell me the truth Wolf, are you back to help, or are you back to take over, everyone has an ego, as I have seen for years, do you want to be seen as the best in SFT, go down in history as one of the best ever, or you gonna be ok just being the mentor veteran type?

Dark Wolf: I really could care less about my status. I enjoy the comments made about me being a "legend" or an "old schooler" But to be honest there is enough ego's in this company. I think my biggest goal is to deflate some of them. And whatever that turns out to be in the end is fine. Although if my name ends up on a plaque in a hall someday. I would feel honored.

Dark Wolf: If not, well at least it’s in the history books

Harold: You just came off a grueling month of March, you had some big wins, title and non title, got you mixed in with DVD, Kyle Murphy, and Dameon, it seems every week it was you four tearing each other apart I gotta say after this month I was tired physically and I didn’t do anything but watch, how are you holding up now that you have a week to rest.

Dark Wolf: :: points to shoulder in a sling :: Well as you know this is my bad shoulder. And I’ve come off this week with allot of pain again and have met with some doctors. And breakdown I will explain to everyone the details of the situation.

Dark Wolf: (trust me when I say you will want to kill me when you read breakdown)

Harold: Well I hear there’s already a price on your head by someone in SFT, I think things for you are only gonna get worse before they get better. But we'll talk more when the cameras are off. Now let’s talk changes, you came back during a turbulent time, things were in a flux, now with your help things are settling down, people are finding their way back. Do you step aside and let others get the limelight or do you show them what it means to be called a legend in this business? Answer true Dark Wolf, be true and be blue.

Dark Wolf: I am not the kind of person to just step aside for someone else. Ask those before me. Ask the people that I have face before. If someone wants the spotlight in this company, you have to take it. no one is going to give you it. Perhaps you will get a chance, but that’s all you are given. I would like to say that I did nothing to help this company in its downfall. But I called Grizzly Z, and I called Ray Cross. And they both came. And both did what they could when this company needed recognizable faces to sell tickets to fans. And as always Strike Towers still stands.

Dark Wolf: They also, like me, don’t let others just walk in and take whatever they want. We had to earn it and so do they!

Harold: Well you're definitely old school and we seem to have quite a lot of old school faces around. You were around duing the SFW days and you've been around here on and off, what do you see as the biggest differences both good and bad between both generations?

Dark Wolf: If I can go OOC with this one question... Roleplay style. The old school way was to tall a story and talk about your match in one fell swoop. Now it seems in the last 5 years it’s evolved to a role-play that is half a story that no one really wants to read, and the other half is actually about the match. I think what the old schoolers need to do is try to evolve past the old school and try to use it to their advantage.

Harold: Advantages can come in many forms, we have seen people going it alone, others joining forces, it seems you really only have one ally in SFT right now that’s Ray Cross, realistically you guys have been dishing out pain but have also paid a dear price as well. Do you think this will only keep going and get worse or will you eventually slow down before you get hurt beyond repair?

Dark Wolf: I would love to give you a long drawn out answer, but honestly. It’s only going to get worse. For everyone, especially with DVD and Icon running around with their balls out. I know Ray has a temper, and if my shoulder holds out, I have a few thoughts in my mind as well.

Dark Wolf: As far as hurt Beyond repair, I think we have crossed that line, ray wears a face plate and I have had two shoulder surgeries already

Harold: You currently have the US Title but its not been defended for a while, that changes this month as I am sure the new runners of SFT will be throwing Jack Jones and perhaps Reno Destiny, its no secret you n Jack have unfinished business, but he seems to follow the old school rules, win or lose you go on, you don’t cry about it, but he hasn’t developed like many others. My question is, can new kids like Jack, Anishinabe, Livewire, and Lion, and so on get a break in SFT or is it dominated by the older wilier veterans.

Dark Wolf: Apples and Oranges my friend. New faces always stand a chance. And it is hard to tell the day that they go from being newcomers, to the day they become old school. And the people they win and loose against along the way.

Dark Wolf: They don’t have any choice but to deal with it. and that’s how they learn

Dark Wolf: I have always said, any wrestler can beat any other wretler, on any Given day.

Harold: There seems to be a consensus going around that for many years the "inner circle" ran SFT. A circle in which you were grouped into. But from what I saw, you guys paid the highest prices most times. You were judged harder, expected to perform at higher levels and asked to give up titles and wins more than most any other wrestlers were ever asked to. What would you say to those saying such things and putting you in that group, were you ever in the quote unquote Inner Circle? And what do you think about what was said?

Dark Wolf: Those are children’s politics. I came in and did What I could to help. I was always honest and straight forward with everyone, and never let my ego get in my way. If I had to put someone in their place I never had a problem doing that. But I usually sit back and let the kids play their games while I did my job. I am friends with nearly everyone in that lockeroom, and I give and have respect for nearly everyone back there today. If there is an "inner Circle" that’s a big fucking circle.

Harold: Come on Wolf, let’s be straight here our readers and the fans deserve it. You, Shadow, me, we go back to what 99? 2000? In SFT its all business, yes I know you get no special treatment, but they see how you are outside of here, they see your relationship with Shadow and Harold, its not something most in SFT have, or really ever will. The old man has gone even more into seclusion than years before, only popping his head out like The Ground Hog Punksholi Phil or whatever his name is. And yes while its not your fault, others see it as something different.

Harold: : That while Shadow rarely speaks to anyone, even a little contact with you and DVD is more than most have had in half a decade or longer.

Dark Wolf: Well, if you wanted the full answer you can always ask Shadow himself. But I don't see that happening. Perhaps because I am one of the few people who when the chips are down am there, somehow, some way. Even when I was gone for the longest part. There was a small bit of conversation kept up on the side. Perhaps it was because there was always that chance I would want to get back in the ring. Or perhaps there was some sort of equal brotherhood between us. Whatever the reason it is we talk has little to do with business.

Dark Wolf: And if people want to piss in their cereal about it, then too fucking bad.

Harold: Good, honesty is the best policy. But what am I chop liver? Everything’s about the old man. NO one loves me.

Dark Wolf: But remember The Dark Wolf was once fired from the SFT as well long ago. So its not as perfect a world as you may think.

Harold: I known you too for years

Harold: why cant the chubby reporter get no love?

Dark Wolf: Yeah but its odd to give you props or talk shit when I am sitting right next to you.

Harold: Ahh I love me some me as Terrell Owens would say. I run the show for months and still its Shadow this shadow that! Blah I hate Shadow. Wait uh I should edit this part but I know I’ll forget LOL.

Harold: Ok well lets push the old man aside, lets talk two things, what are you immediate short term goals and what are your long term goals SFT and wrestling wise?

Dark Wolf: Hey I think in the past few weeks my public opinion towards you has been very flattering. Not to mention gotten me into some hot water. SO don’t say I don't give you any regards.

Dark Wolf: Goals? We have goals? well, seriously.

Dark Wolf: Injury not with standing, There are some matches I would like to have. Rematch with Kyle, perhaps a few tag matches. Primarily DVD and Icon tag match. Maybe an Honest to god match with Redd where he decides to take his balls out and not worry about what people will think. And of course I would love to smack Jack Jones around again, as well as Johnny Legend.

Dark Wolf: So there are matches I would like, oh and doesn’t everyone want to face the boss? Of course I would love a chance to face Shadow, he fights twice a year and each time its like its own Wrestlemania. so I don’t even need to mention it. of course if I stamp my name on th eTag bealts and the IC belt then that’s all of em for me but that’s not really a goal... yet

Harold: Well I would love to see you and Ray face Icon and DVD, that would be epic, but I think you and Kyle would maybe end up bringing down the house and wed have to search for buried bodies in the rubble, as for Redd, hes not the same, but I think its just a matter of time before he burns the past and burns the world, as only he can.

Harold: Whats next, what now? Where do you go from here?

Dark Wolf: You kinda just asked me that

Harold: Do you want to fly off into the bleak darkness and hope to god you land or do you want to fly up into the sun and just burn., sorry to be so dark tonight but 3am interviews do that, no, im talking personally, I see a difference in you.

Harold: You're you, but youre stronger, youre weaker.

Harold: There’s a plague in you, do I speak false?

Harold: Ive been watching you for a long time now

Harold: There’s something you're keeping from us.

Dark Wolf: I have had allot of recollection to think about. I had allot of issues my last time around. Allot of mental and emotional issues. And I used this place to vent that. I understand things now in a way that’s hard to explain. And now I feel I understand that deep down everyone is exactly the same. Everyone is no different fom the next. And I want to find the differences. I need that small hope in life that we are not all just evolutionaized egos waiting to get smeared onto the road.

Dark Wolf: And here I stand before you a man with understanding, an understanding I hate. But one that I need to show everyone else to make this world a better place

Dark Wolf: No one is invincable, no one unstoppable.

Dark Wolf: Everyone has a weakness, and deep inside they are afraid to admit it. And the truth is, it scares the piss out of them. And when they see me coming. They know

Dark Wolf: THey know that They will ahve no choice but to face that fear

Dark Wolf: and through me, they will hopefully become better because of it.

Harold: Lets make this lighter, lets talk past and present, a question I like to ask, if you can face anyone from any fed during any time whod you pick and why? Whod be your personal fantasy warfare?

Dark Wolf: There is an old schooler from when I first started, his name was Loose Cannon. He had no flair, no websites, he was the current new school, but with no flair. His writings were so unique that without color or images, or any of that he was able to beat anyone he faced. I would love to fac ehim just once as if he had evolved along with the rest of us. Guys from Strike Towers History. Well I would have liked to see that Legion guy I heard about in action. But neither will ever happen so its a pointless thought.

Harold: Legions dead, I think those few who mention his name, mention it because its one thing that cant ever happen, and we all want more the things we cant have. So Dark Wolf, what do you want most of all, more than being in the Hall of Fames, or World Titles, if you could sum up your legacy in one sentence what would you want it to be?

Dark Wolf: I want to see where this place will be ten more years from now. And hwen that day comes I will just be happy if anyone rememebrs my name. And if they don't well, then perhaps I will just have to remind them. Heh, honestly there is no right answer to that question. I just hope someone can gain from the things I have done in the past and the present, and well maybe even the future.

Harold: Shadow and I are the living history of SFT, so long as either of us lives, so do all the thousdands of faces that have wandered in here over the decade, both good and bad live on, and will always live on, perhaps we cant capture immortality, but we can try.......
