Title: The Hardest interview, interview with Hardcore Hect.

A Harold interview:

Harold: Ok folks today I’m joined by SFT's current World Champion, Hardcore Hect or as some lovingly call him Hectzilla. Hect, thank you for agreeing to do this interview, I know you're a busy man.

Hardcore Hect: yea, no worries

Harold: Now lets jump right into it, You came back not so long ago and it seemed you were back for a one night match, but you stayed on and within like no time you climbed the ranks and now hold the main title in SFT, you seemed more determined and focus, what’s the difference between the Hect of old and the Hect we now see?

Hardcore Hect: well, the hect of old was more me clowning around, not really giving a shit about winning or losing. I just went out, did my thing, if people laughed cool, if I won, cool. But if I lost, it wasn't a big deal because most of the time I didn't care.

Hardcore Hect: After a while, it started getting to me, the lack of respect. I lost a lot of matches, sure, but I won a lot too. So, I wanted to go out there, and prove what I already knew, but what everyone else didn't wanna know, that I could whoop anyone's ass when I really wanted.

Harold: You have a big bulls eye on you now, everyone wants to face you, they want what you got, and how do you deal with the pressure? How do you deal with the fact that every match is for your title? How does Hect deal with the pressures and responsibilies of being World champ?

Hardcore Hect: He doesn't. He doesn't because there's no pressure. I've seen most of the talent pool in SFT. There's maybe a handful....MAYBE....that can beat me.

Harold: Well in SFT we know that anything can and usually does happen, we saw that with Jack beating Malinko, so really the pool may be small but anyone can become a contender quite fast. If im not mistaken you beat Havoc for the World title, many of whom thought you wouldn’t be able to even stand a chance but you won and then faced Christian at the ppv and still you managed to hold on to the title, some call you lucky, some say you'd hidden your talent till the time is right, do you think you're just that "good" or has some luck been involved as well?

Hardcore Hect: I think it's been a combo of both. Before, I just was calling it in. I didn't care too much about winning or losing. When I got fed up, I decided to show everyone what I could do. And honestly, I could do better, I just haven't really felt compelled to. That's really where the luck comes in. With Christian, I got extremely lucky. That was a close ass match.

Harold: You quickly became a fan favorite as well as a roster favorite, many pushing for you to get a world title shot when Shadow didn’t think you were ready yet and when you did get the chance you won. And surprised everyone, but you weren’t surprised, you knew you could do it, now there’s a small list of people waiting to face you guys like Jack Jones who you face next, then after him you face possibly Seth Dryden and then people like Precious and maybe again Christian Cage, what do you think of the people who are on the short list to face you?

Hardcore Hect: I think it's a nice little list of potential victims for me. I have history with everyone, hell even Precious. Honestly, I've been waiting for a match with Jack, since he won the World Title at the time when I began putting my focus on it. He vacated it, and I was a little sad, I really wanted to face him for the World Title. Now, I get the chance to show that I could've beaten him for it. If he beats me, then hell, he deserves that title. Seth? He's holding onto something I really want. See, I've been looking at the titles, and all these grand slam winners. And if you look back, from my return in January to now, you'll see I'm only one title away from a grand slam. And nothing would please me more then a title vs. title match against Seth, even though I know rules and such will prevent it. Though...it would be nice to be a grand slam champion within six months.

Hardcore Hect: And Christian? He's come the closest to beating me, and he's beat me in the past. I've love to get one win off him, especially as champ.

Harold: Why do you personally think you’ve become such a fan favorite and backstage favorite? What is it about Hect that people like?

Hardcore Hect: I don't start shit, I ain't a whiney crybaby, and I've treated everyone equally, haven't treated anyone bad. No one's ever fucked with me, and even when things were said, that I didn't agree with, and trust me there's many things...I didn't bring it to the boards. Oh, I bitched about it to friends and shit...but never to the public.

Harold: Well I can’t interview you and not bring up the man, let’s talk Shadow and staff, what’s your relationship if any with Shadow? Do you two get along? How has he treated you since your return and treated you as World champion? We all know he’s more expecting of whoever holds the title, he puts them on a different level and expects more from the champs, do you feel that’s justified or not?

Hardcore Hect: I think as world champ, any person has to be held to a higher standard. It's what everyone wants. It says you're the best, whether you get lucky winning it or not. It's not whether you can win it, it's whether you can hold it that makes you the best. So far, I've done a good job.

Hardcore Hect: About Shadow, man, he's el jefe, I dig him. We haven't really talked in a long time, but I think we’re cool with each other. I mean, I was getting booked on both shows for a long fuckin time, never bitched, did it all, and won! And I think he respects that from me.

Harold: So you dont have any problems on how he chooses to run SFT or how he sometimes overworks the world champ? You've stated you worked 2 cards for a long time and you prospered but now so much more is on the line, every match he analyzes and dissects, some hate him for how he is, some understand it, but most at some point come to butt heads with him and the staff, how are you on that aspect?

Hardcore Hect: That's their business. There's been times when I think I've out rped people and lost. It doesn't bug me much, because it's not the first time it's happened. It's no shit off my ass, ya know? I don't know Shadow on a way personal level as you and apparently other members of this fine establishment do, so I don't know how he thinks, but I am confident in my abilities that even if you guys do have "favorites" that I can prove I'm better then them, regardless.

Hardcore Hect: There are things that Shadow does that I agree with, and that I don't agree with. But whatever

Hardcore Hect: He's the boss, and in the end, it's his call.

Hardcore Hect: If shit bugged me enough, I'd just pick my happy ass up and quit the damn place

Harold: Fair enough, ok now Lets talk history now, where did you get your start? And how long have you been a wrestler? Tell us Hect's history as only you can.

Hardcore Hect: Sweet Jesus. Uh...lol....I did Hect's history in character as an RP against Havoc, so if people wanna know, they can find the rp I'm sure. OOC, I started RPing back in 2000, and I'd check the e-fed through the computer in my Government Class in high school, because I was a student aid haha. I don't even remember the fed, but my guy was a combo of like...matt hardy and raven, started as 2Xtreme, and that evolved into a more darker character, like a combo of Raven and the Crow. Back in the day I just bounced around a lot of feds. Hell I was in like 5 or 6 feds at once. Champion in about 2 or 3 of them at once too. It was nuts. That kept up for about a year or so. It really died down for me in 2002. I was burnt out, didn't really have the need to rp, because really, in the beginning the rping was just a way to release my anger in a constructive way. The anger was gone by 2002, and I was burnt out, so there wasn't really a need to rp. I kept it down to maybe 1 fed, and then followed some friends into SFT in 2003. From there...well, I'm sure people can figure that out.

Harold: So you're a veteran of the game as they would say, been around the block and then some. Well now lets get a bit personal. Who do you get along with in character and ooc? And who do you not get along with in or ooc? Cause everyone has people they click with and some they just cant stand?

Hardcore Hect: I haven't found a person in SFT that's really rubbed me the wrong way to the point I can't stand them. But really I get along with the malinko, Christian, Connor, gust, dean, allisa...uh....who else...Havoc...nirvana...messiah...I know I’m missing people, shit...there's others. No one I really don't get along with, unless they're annoying pieces of shit.

Harold: Lets talk the world title, many have called it the merry go round of SFT, that no one can hold onto it for very long, why do you think that is? What is it about the title that makes it so hard for anyone to keep it for any real amount of time? In your opinion what’s the problem or what’s wrong? Is it "cursed" as some think?

Hardcore Hect: I think some people get lazy when they finally get it. Or circumstances happen that fuck up their runs. I never heard anything about any curse, and if there is, fuck it. Because I'mma hold this piece of hardware for a good long while. Unless...the rumor I've heard about Tuesday happens. If it does...many will die in the wake of it. But I'm sure it won't *grins*.

Harold: If another Holy Wars were to develop what side do you think you’d be on? Your bio lists you as neutral but in a Holy Wars, you’d have to pick a side, what side would you take?

Hardcore Hect: well...considering what I heard about the last Holy Wars, being about "Order" and "Chaos" I think if it turned that way again, I'd have to be on the side of Chaos...I mean, I am the King of Chaos. Then again, what better way to create chaos, then to be part of the side of Order, and cause shit in there. Makes you think don't it.

Harold: Your next match is on Titans against Jack Jones for your title, a title he held but only briefly, you stated that you’ve wanted to face him for some time, if anyone is seen as the underdog in SFT its him, something you've been yourself from your earlier stints in SFT, do you feel that Jack is underrated as most see him and unworthy or a title shot, or do you think he's just play possum and waiting for his shots just like you did this time around? In other words do you think he's good? He's lucky? Or is he just biding his time for big matches to upset people like he did to Malinko twice and like he upset the return of Preach and Destroy? Does Jack stand a chance against you or is he just a small fish in a sea of sharks?

Hardcore Hect: Hmmm...Honestly, I think if P&D had their timing back like they used to, they would've fucking killed Jack and Darius. As for Jack vs. me. Honestly, I think he's good. Or at least, he can be when he wants to. If he's biding his time, then there's not a better time then Tuesday to show what he's really got, and earn this title and defend this title like a champion should. But, I wouldn't be Hect if I didn't say that as good as Jack could potentially be, not even his best can beat me. I'm the gotdamn World Champ! But, if he does bring his best, I think this has the potential to be a match that EVERYONE will want to see.

Harold: Lets talk what if's. If you could have any 3 matches with anyone past or present from SFT, SFW, RWA, EWA, XCW, SCW, or wherefrever, who would you choose to fight and why?

Hardcore Hect: Well, I dunno about all those feds, I think I was in RWA for like a week or a month and took off. Hmmm....hahaha, I know. Nirvana...we have history. I remember seeing him when he was green, and then BOOM, he's better then me. Brass Martin...because I owe him one more good ass whooping. Glenn Owen. And I think everyone knows why.

Harold: Some pretty good names there. When your career and done and you've retired, what do you want your legacy to be? What do you want to be remembered for? Or better yet what do you think your legacy will be?

Hardcore Hect: I think my legacy will be that I was one of the few who were never in the middle of any of the bullshit. Just did his thing, went out there, got the job done, and took titles like a motherfucker. And hopefully, and I'm not clear on this officially, but if I can help it, I wanna be the first person to get the grand slam in 6 months or less.

Harold: Well Hect I can honestly say this has been one of the most interesting and honest interviews I've had in ages, I want to thank you for doing this and our fans and readers will love this interview that I am sure of.

Hardcore Hect: Thank you for letting me speak my mind. And if anyone took offence to anything I said...fuck you.
