| Title: The Nirvana Interview (Acts of a God) | |
|
The Harold interviews first of many: Harold: Well Thank You Nirvana for making time to sit down with me to do this Interview. I congratulate you as well on advancing in the Lethal Lottery Tournament.Nirvana: Thanks, Harold. Accountant is rather talented. Alot of people take him for a joke, but he worked for me. Harold: Now first I want to touch base on your history, how long all together have you been with SFT? Harold: And second part is, where did you first get started? Nirvana: I've been in SFT for a year and a half on and off. Before SFT I was a historian so to speak, I would drop in and ceck it out. I didm't really join wrestling as a wrestler untill Cherrk BOmb satrted her own fed known as BLW, there I was surrounded by some of the most obscure people anywhere. After a while the the fed folded and I found my way to SFT. Harold: Now when your first started off in SFT, you were part of a stable known as Acts of God, you were part of what most considered the most talented tag team in years as part of Preach and Destroy, but then it all started to come apart, can you tell us if you dont mind what led to the end of AOG and your tag team? Nirvana: Well its all satrted when we allowed Danial Mendoza into AOG. We worked with him for a few weeks getting him ready to redebut as Anghellic, but along the line he got a big head. At first he showed so much promise, but thats when it started to fall apart. Al, Nømad, and Deacon had a few arguments and it ended up with Al losing intrest in wrestling. We lost our leader. A few people tried to step but but it ended up with a huge fight. Egos clashed, and we died. Preach and Destroy tried to survive, but my naqging injuries forced us into early retirement. We just recently returned, but I doubt we'll ever have the same effect as we orginaly had. But it does feel good back with my best friend again. Harold: Excellent and thank you for the honest answer, many tend to bullshit the viewers and readers with vague answers, now on that trend I also hear that you've also had an interest in possibly joining the backstage crew and becoming a staff member but it never seems to work out, what exactly is currently preventing you from reaching an agreement with the owners on a staff position? Nirvana: Well Sahdow and I have trouble seeing eye to eye on alot of postions. I respect the man, lots of people won't admit it but Shadow is the reason SFT is still alive. At one point in tine he was a driving force. The problem we have is my ambition to do more. At the current time the only real work I could do are small tasks, while I feel I can do much more. At one point in time I was a very respected staff memeber, hopefully one day that will return. Harold: Do you feel the times youve left and come back and possibly your involvement with RWA has caused Shadow and perhaps Dean to not have full confidence in you? Harold: I mean it would take quite a leap of faith to let someone gain access to SFT's inner core who has always been quite active behind the scenes of RWA as well. Nirvana: Well, few people know that I was at one point in time a very close friend of Pettis. Of course, he made promise. But only one real promise stood out in my mine. A Preach and Destroy reunion. I stayed around for a while after jumping shift, but by the time SFT needed me...I was nowhere to be found. Once again person problms had plagued me. I tried rejoining a few times, but each time just didn't feel right. As far as RWA goes, I'm not highly respect there. I stay there for one reason, my friend ship with Andrew Foley. Destroying SFT isn't on my agenda, but if people want to speculate who am I to tell them to "Stop thinking"? Harold: Interesting, I've always seen you dance the line between the gray areas, you never really get bogged down in out of character wars? What is your philosphy when it comes to ooc wars or arguments on the forums or boards? Nirvana: In the past I've caused some rather large disturbances, now days I just wanna keep it cool. When it comes to fights, I really don't wanna jump in the middle of it. Sure, some people may not like each other but in time they could grow to be friends. Take Cage for example, I joked with him on the boards about his "shadow kick" but OOC hes pretty good friends with us. After the Holocaust members had a fight with him Joe Joe(joe Mokoko) and Paul spoke to him and he was a pretty cool guy Harold: Now back to who you portray on camera? Nirvana has been critisized mostly by me LOL, that your character lacks defination, that you're not really sure what direction you were looking for your character, now you say I was wrong, but was I totally wrong, what i mean is when you started off, did you know exactly what you wanted to be or how you would portray yourself and your promos or did you always have some sort of plan? Nirvana: At the start I had a simple premise. Nirvana Wolfgang, cold hearted man. After a while it wore thin, so I worked with a few differnt things. Right now I'm rather inbetween things. I want to try new types of promos, but at the same time follow the same story. Theres a direction, Jeff King is running owards death. But truthfully we are all running towards death, but what differs Nirvana from a regular person? Thast where I have to branch off and find meaning. Jeff had a bad past, thast been spoken of. But what do we really know about HIs past with Schizo, or even mroe why is he running towards death? Of course, those are questions anormal perosn would ask. but I have a reason, evading death. But how? We'll see in my coming promos the fear a man can truely have of death. Harold: Very interesting, now you speak of Death, the running or evading of it, but is Death, the moment of choosing life or death, is that going to be the main theme of Nirvana or will it be more self actualztion in discovering who your character really is, and understanding the present by dealing with the past? Nirvana: Nirvana's choices effect those around him, if you take a lok at the Philipsburgh chronicles you'll see that the actions of Jeff directly effect Pauls story as well. Now that put Paul in a funny place as far as death and life. Paul, as we've seen, is a violent person. Nirvana's search for life over death would lead to his past, but it would effect Paul as well. So knowing this we see that Jeff has am added fear. The fear of ghurting those around him. So the answer would be yes, his past would have to be a main part of this chapter. Harold: I know we look forward to the saga that is Nirvana, Now currently youre right smack in the middle of the Lethal Lottery, do you personally see the change in partners to be a good thing or a bad thing for the tournament? And exactly how do you really see your chances in this tournament of tournaments? Nirvana: Well frankly, at first I was for the same partners. But looking back I shoulda choosen the change of partners. If we would have stuck with changing aprtner we woulden't have last minute changes that coulden't be fixed in the drawings. Harold: And do you think you have a good chance of making it to the finals, and also do you realize you could possibly end up facing your partner Paul along the way? Nirvana: I may have a good hance, but with men like Paul, Gunz, and Cyril in the LL anything could happen. Thast the beauty of the LL, anything can happen. As for facing Paul, we've had a friendly rivlary for years and have wanted to face each other for even longer. What better place than the LL? Harold: Well Nirvana I do want to thank you for being the first to be interviewed by me, and I wish you the best of luck in the tournament. Nirvana: Thank you Harold, good luck with the mag. Harold: excellent this went rather well, ill see if can get the mag in my possesion by tommorrow so we'll hope to see this interview up by Tuesday if all goes well Nirvana: yes, good interview |
