Title: The Chaotic Interview with Nirvana

The Harold interviews:

Harold: Thank you Nirvana for sitting with me tonight, I know you're busy with all happenings in SFT lately.

Nirvana: Not as busy as you would thing. After the PPV I had to take some time off, certain people were looking to injure me as you probably noticed.

Harold: Yes well we've had an interview before but now things are much different, tell me honestly are you back for good or just temporary and what are your goals right now?

Nirvana: I'm back for good. I'd like to think that I could still hold my own in the ring. It’s why I was taking it slow at first; I wanted to see if I still had it. As for my goals, I hope to once again get the world title. Besides that I'd like to get the Hardcore title and see if I can make Holocaust last this time. I've been wanting to bring Preach and Destroy back as well, and it may very well happen.

Harold: So we may see Messiah make a return soon? and Holocaust seems to be at a crossroads, granted Havoc winning tonight means good things for the group but im sure there are some within Holocaust who want a shot at Havoc, how does that affect the stable?

Nirvana: I like to think of them as warriors. All warriors are brothers, but warriors also feel the need to prove their strength. After such battles, we find that men are stronger in their bonds with each other. As long as egos don't get in the way, there will be no problems. And yes, Messiah and I have been in close contact for a while. He's almost ready to return as soon as his schedule permits.

Harold: So tell me Nirvana, what’s on your mind, you obviously have allot to say, what’s your thoughts on SFT currently, the roster? the rookies? The staff? the world champions unable to hold the title? seems you were the last real credible world champ we had. Inquiring minds want to know what you think.

Nirvana: I think people have developed a class level in SFT, and we both know that when you try to put people on levels that it never works. We saw Cypher win the world title, he literally snuck up and won it.

Harold: Much like Ray Cross?

Nirvana: I'll admit, he surprised me. I've got respect for the guy, though. Anyone who can beat me gets my respect.

Harold: So why do you think it’s been so hard to keep the world title? is it that everyone is so even? Or is it some sort of curse you put on it? LOL, why do you think no one can keep it more than a week or 2?

Nirvana: I think we don't have real warriors, not like the ones from what people would call our "golden age". Allot have people have said that I was the last real champion, that's not true. The problem is that no one is able to cling to the title like I did. When I held it I had to get better, fast. If I wasn’t consistent with my skills I knew I'd lose. I think allot of people don't understand that.

Nirvana: The title is really only the first step in a process. What you do after matters more.

Harold: Well you were the one who sort of stepped up and showed you had to act the champ in and out of the ring, but nowadays egos are running rampant, egos can be a killer for those without the right talent? Do you see allot of egos backstage or it just show?

Nirvana: I think we all have fallen to our own egos. It’s not a crime to fall pretty to it once, but you have to learn from that. I'd like to say that we've got people with no egos, but I can look around and name a few people. It’s important to remember that men like Madd Dogg and Radiant never had egos, and they're considered legends. It doesn't take an ego to make a legend.

Harold: Allot of people compare the new champs to past champs and especially to you, do you feel that’s a just comparison or is it unfair to the new champs to be compared to you and past great world champions?

Nirvana: Each champion has his chance to make his mark. People are going to want them to be like the great champions of the past. I think people need that great champion to lead us into a new golden age, but you can't force it. You can't compare a Louis Cypher or a Ray Cross to me, it's unfair. I was brought up with legend around me, I could literally look at a card and see people like Glenn Owen and Damian Sparks on a card. Allot of people can't even imagine that now days. I see these dream matches and I wonder where the time went. I could see those matches in my time. It’s unfair to compare these times to past times.

Harold: Well Cypher has been dealing with the Dead Pac biased being called out by some individuals saying he’s only being pushed due to Shadow, but then again Shadow only pushes those worthy, you for a time after your title reign said Shadow was too hard on the champs? But question is do you think Cyphers push was due to Shadow or just Cyphers work rate and work ethics?

Harold: Shadow once told me that he put the world champion a level above most, that he expected them to be perfect each time or they’d probably lose, is that fair or unfair for Shadow to expect the champ to be great all the time?

Harold: I ask this only because you know first hand how he is when it comes to the world champ.

Nirvana: Shadow is a good guy if you get to know him. He likes his writing on a different level than most. He'd rather be able to picture a story than read it. In that sense he knows that champion paints a picture in his mind. Not just a world champ either, any champ. He's extremely hard on them, but you have to respect that. Ask Cypher, he didn't hold the title that long. He didn't have a chance to get his bearing.

Harold: But still the question remains is it fair to be harder on the world champion than the rest of the roster? I mean it seems somewhat impossible to live up to his expectations.

Nirvana: It’s not impossible. A champion has the chance to be a LEGEND. Every legend that people think of became that through the world title. Shadow knows that, and if you can get past what he throws at you that you know you deserve that title. So no, it's not unfair.

Harold: I hate to burn out a subject but it can’t be avoided I hear you want a match with Shadow pretty soon maybe within the next year? Is this true and if so then why a match with him, it would be for no titles, nothing to gain by such a match. Why is fighting him become such a thing for many veterans?

Nirvana: Yes, I'm looking forward to a match with him. Shadow is one of the greats. People will try to cast him aside but the man overcame a whole federation that wanted nothing more than to kill SFT. Beyond that he has a mystery around him. I know allot more about him than most, but at the same time I know no one will know the real Shadow. That’s the mystery. You know that he believes in what he writes, and That's what makes it so great.

Harold: Well many are starting to compare your mystique to something like Shadow's is that on purpose or just something you’ve been working on with your character? Your character has become one of the most creative if not innovative in SFT history, right up there with Shadow, Legion, Glenn, Dave Steel, Mad Dogg.

Nirvana: I think it's saying allot that people believe that. I'm still the same person who came into SFT with Paul Philips. I find that men who try to be mysterious never are. As a writer I can tell you that drawing from personal memories is what makes you great. I remember my earliest memory of seeing a dead body. It's stayed with me forever and added to the morbid detail of my RPs. I think its proof that memories and personal experience make RPs.

Harold: Makes them more personal, more true to life, when you write what’s your main goal, to tell a story you enjoy or to write a story that will get you the win? What’s your secret to success?

Nirvana: Winning is a big part, but if you're unhappy with your own writing that you'll never really win. I write for me and for the people who like reading what I write. I think my RPs are more of a slap of reality that people want to think. I force people to face death and the world, and to think about it.

Harold: Tell me bout the tag team title situation, it seems to be quite confusing and you’re at the heart of it.

Nirvana: Kami and I never got a good defense. At the PPV he turned traitor, something I never saw coming, and the titles went with him. Allisa stole those titles, meaning we now have a three way controversy. You have Kami and myself who have the "titles" of champions and Allisa who now owns the real titles. Very confusing.

Harold: Well we have lots of new teams wanting a shot when we can we expect to find out who your new partner will be?

Nirvana: Soon. I've got three different people I have considered, to tell the truth. It'll surprise you, none the less.

Harold: Who do you consider a major stable threat to Holocaust? The Faction, the Dead Pac, or LGP? Who poses the biggest threat to you guys?

Nirvana: Right now the Faction, simply because they have Gust and Kami. Those two men were part of a family, and they know our tactics well.

Harold: But Shadow controls the Pac, and wherever Shadow is, well he has the power to make things go good or bad for any group.

Nirvana: Close second, possibly tying with The Faction. I'd have to say, though, things are picking up for The Pac.

Harold: Tell me Nirvana, you thrive on chaos yet your work is deep and thought provoking at times, where do you get your inspiration?

Nirvana: Life. Chaos is a big part, but life comes from chaos. Life IS chaos, and yet life never really end. After we die, our bodies return to the earth and it all starts over. Chaos, because chaos is never ending.

Harold: So Nirvana tell me, with all the things going on in SFT right now things are very confusing, but the question is, are your sights set on the world title? Nirvana: Yes. The title is still important to SFT, we just need a proper champion. I guess you never lose your drive to win the title, even after you held it and had a long title reign. It's like old legends, almost. The courts always needed knights and we need champions. I guess my drive never died.

Harold: How do you think your chances are with the current main eventers? And what could your possible title dreams mean for Holocaust if you should end up facing Havoc one day for the title?

Nirvana: I think I still have it, I'd like to think so anyway. My sights are set on both the World and hardcore titles, so either way I think I'll have to match wits with fellow Holocaust members. A match with Havoc would be great at this point in time. We're both at our peaks, albeit I'm not the man I was when I was champion. I'm sure it woulden't hurt Holocaust to have a match, a great one at that

Harold: There comes a time and a place for everyone, some say your time has come and gone, do you think your prime has passed?

Nirvana: No. Anyone who thinks that can go ahead and step in the ring with me, I'm pretty sure I can prove that I deserve my place in SFT.

Harold: SFT is home to many, many vets leave and come back and always come back to the same place, what is it about SFT that keeps people always returning?

Nirvana: SFT is the home on the range, if you understand that.

Harold: What does SFT mean to you?

Nirvana: I'm not sure. The people and the atomsphere is great, and I'd like to be remembered and leave a legacy behind. SFT is a home to a family.

Harold: What kind of legacy do you want to be remembered for? What would you like Nirvana to be known or remembered as?

Nirvana: For living up to everything I said. I came into SFT and said, day one, my tag team was going to be one of the greatest and that one day I'd hold the world title and be one of the greats. I did that, and I fought my way up from lower than low card to do so. If anything, I can say I deserve my spot. I fought for it.

Harold: Fitting way for us to end the interview, thank you Nirvana for sitting down with me today, im sure your fans and readers allike will be pleased.

Nirvana: shout outs to Allisa, Kami, Havoc, and Messiah. Don't give up the fight to become better, even rookies can become gods if they try. Don't fear anyone, because anyone can beat anyone. And, oh yeah, if anyone wants to face me for not deserving my place I'm not hard to find.
