Title: The Rayn interview, It can't rain all the time.

A Harold interview:

Harold: Ok folks today I am joined by the one and only Rayn. Rayn thank you so much for setting up an appointment and keeping it, Our readers have really shown some interesting in seeing what you will say.

Rayn: Thanks for having me, I appreciate you taking the time out to get inside my head, let everyone see what I'm thinking for a change.

Harold: Well first question is you'd been gone from SFT for quite a while, and we all know you’d been in RWA, now besides its demise, what other factors prompted you to return back to SFT? And how does it feel now that you’ve been back a few weeks?

Rayn: To be honest, my coming back to SFT was, rather spontaneous. I was checking out the site and noticed that Nirvana had become head of talent relations. So one day, I decided to go say hi. We talked for awhile, and I mentioned the idea of me coming back, little did I know he had a contract waiting for me. Granted, I owe him a little favor, but it's nothing I can't handle. Honestly now, looking at it after being here for a few weeks, I can't wait for the first shot to prove my new found loyalty to SFT.

Harold: Well tell me how the roster acted towards you upon your return, not many ex RWA stars are greeted warmly no matter who they are or were. Did you get any backlash or how did it go down in the locker-room?

Rayn: Surprising the locker room was nothing as I would have expected it. Even the first day, I went and talked with Shadow, explained myself and my past actions, and he accepted the apology. The first day back, and the part I have to note is that most everyone that was here back then, isn't. I honestly expected to get my head verbally chewed off and have to grab a chair to fend off the locker room, but there's nothing but a bunch of new faces. So to be honest, the welcome was nice, highly unexpected, but respectful.

Harold: Well before I follow up on some of what you touched on, lets give our new readers and people a little background on you, tell us how long you’ve been wrestling? Where you got started, what feds you were in and any notable wins or titles? Give us Rayn 101 if you please.

Rayn: Alright, the short version of it is, I've been in the business since early 2000. Started when I was eighteen. Some of my past before that point is, we'll say, unnecessary to get into. I've been in quite a few different wrestling organizations. I started in TAMW where I became a hardcore champion, a two time All-American champion, and attained my first world title. After TAMW I went to ERWF and became an Intercontinental champion. About that time I met my mentor Zero, he taught me a lot about the business. I took some time off and returned to the DRWF, where I became their Cutting Edge champion. I held the belt for four months before I vacated it. I then became a two time "FTW" champion. After that, I took some more time out from the business, At this point, I came back to a little indy fed, nothing big there. I got a knee injury there, had to take more time off, and headed here to SFT.

Harold: I know Zero, good guy, well let’s talk about the future, what are your immediate plans now? Who you going after and what titles? And why?

Rayn: Well, to be honest, I'm looking forward to my match at War. Twilight's the world champion, I'm number one contender to the Intercontinental championship, and conveniently, Twilight and the Intercontinental champ T.K. Money are partners. So, I guess my first targets would be Blood Money. T.K. mostly because I earned the shot, so why not? Personally, if I could have things my way, I'd be taking Twilight's world title this Wednesday. See, everyone in staff at least, remembers when I first won that belt, then ran off to RWA with it, or rather tried to. I have to prove that I'm not going anywhere this time.

Harold: Good I’m glad to hear it, but you don’t have any backup here in SFT right now, and Blood Money well as you know where one is the other will show up, you’ll have your hands full and they don’t care if its title or not, they’ll be sure to make it messy. So anything in the horizon tag partner? Stable? Alliances?

Rayn: Well, let's say I'm smart enough to not bring a knife to a gun fight, and keep it at that...

Harold: Interesting, there’s allot to be read into that. But lets move on, lets talk Shadow and Staff, you mentioned he was cordial, but most in SFT have a strained relationship with him, all respect him but either find him too cold or separated, and the staff is rotating and all have their little battles with some on the roster, how has it been since you arrived or has it all been just business between you and he? Shadow didn’t take too kindly too all who left for RWA but for the most part he has taken everyone back that has wanted, even I hear he’s in talks with Megan the Monster.

Rayn: That's interesting; I haven't heard anything regarding most who went to RWA. I noticed Havoc was back and Nirvana and Lucretia. Otherwise, it's mostly been business between myself, Shadow, and Nirvana. After I got the go ahead and started to get booked, it was game on. Business went from the office to the ring, about that simple...

Harold: Interesting, times have changed and bad blood seems to have subsided, maybe cause I wasn’t here to bitch out everyone? LOL, but lets talk something different, you’ve noticed some have put their wish lists on the boards of who they’d want to face, if you could face any three people past or present from any fed, who would it be and why?

Rayn: Well, the first one would have to be Zero. Still to this day, I haven't beaten him in that ring. I'll openly admit that I've lost to him nine times, and one more shot, I could die a happy man. Second in line, I'd have to say Pete Ebdon, from my DRWF days. He always brought out the best in me, and I made him look real good. When it was us in that ring, nothing else mattered but that match. Third, would have to be Simon Kalis...

Harold: Interesting choices, ok now back to SFT'ers, everyone in SFT whether stable or not, everyone has that one or two people they get along with great, friends alliances whatnot, who do you really get along well with? And opposite that who do you not get along with and why?

Rayn: I'd have to say so far, I get along good with Brass Martin. We've been talking in the back, that I could see us working really well together. As for the opposite, I'd have to say Kyle Murphy. It's nothing personal, there's just something about that guy that makes me want to hurt him... I can't figure it out, just when I see him I have to fuck him up.

Harold: LOL, ok lets talk future, lets say 5-6 years down the line, maybe by the time you decide to retire, what do you want the fans and the people here in SFT to remember you as/by? What do you want your legacy to be? Some say world champion or best world champion or to be in the hall of fame or whatever, what is your thoughts on this?

Rayn: To be completely honest, I would like to be remembered as the most unique. I love to go after weird goals, like two titles at once. I could see myself taking the Intercontinental and then the world titles, that would be awesome to pull off. Maybe a multiple Grand Slam champion, something along those lines. Although seeing "Rayn" in the hall of fame sure does sound sweet...

Harold: Let’s talk others for a moment, who do you personally either as a fan or a wrestler, who do you like to watch? Whose promos do you enjoy or who catches your interest?

Rayn: I like Nirvana, I'll admit that I'm a fan. Sara Pettis, I like facing her. Every time I know it's going to be a clinic inside that ring.

Harold: Do you believe that you'll be here for good? For the long haul? Do you see yourself ending your career in SFT?

Rayn: Should the company last another decade, I'll be here... I honestly don't know how much longer I'll continue on, but I know that it won't end soon. So, I hope SFT can take another decade...

Harold: If you had three words that would sum you up or describe the type of person or wrestler you are, what would they be?

Rayn: Crazy, calculated, and confident...

Harold: Hah, cool, Well Rayn I want to thank you for doing this interview with me, It has been interesting to say the least. (say your last words and we are done)

Rayn: Thanks for the time, and Twilight, I'm coming for ya... See ya Wednesday buddy...
