|
A Harold interview:
Harold: ok today I am joined by our current Television Champion, Mr. Sean Rollins......
Harold: Sean thank you for doing this interview.
Sean Rollins: Yea lil nigga
Harold: Well since this interview will be up before Inferno, let’s talk about your upcoming IC Title match, you face Seth Dryden which is a rematch of sorts from a while back, do you think Friday will have a different outcome, can you finally beat Seth and claim the IC title match?
Sean Rollins: I guarantee on Friday that I, Sean Rollins will be holding two titles here in Strike Towers. I found my groove no one can fuckin stop me now ya heard?!
Harold: Wow there calm down I’m here to interview you, not get beat up? Remember I’m staff, and one thing we all know is you don’t fuck with staff. Speaking of staff, how do you get along with the SFT staff? Don’t take this the wrong way, but you don’t see the type to listen to authority types?
Sean Rollins: Fuck the staff fuck the staff fuck em. They stay outa my way I stay outa theirs and work my ass off in the ring and bring in the fans. They don't give a fuck about me, when they think they have drawn every dollar outa this horse then they will take me out back and shoot me. So why should I care about them. No one has made it a point to welcome me, or to be nice.
Harold: Well there Mr. Chip on his shoulders, tell the fans and our readers a little about your past, where you're from, where you got started, how long you've been in the business?
Sean Rollins: Well, I'm Baton Rouge, Louisiana ya heard from that dirty south. Aint no place like home we stay ballin outa control, Katrina can't stop that party! Where I got my start? Well I been hustling in the streets since I could walk to make a dolla and try to help my mom keep us alive. A man you all know got me in the gym training for this shit, you know him as Elijah Roland. Strike Towers is my first wrestling company, Elijah got me hired by Shadow personally after showing him training footage. I also went to Strike Championship Wrestling for two fights to hone my skills in that short time I won the TV title.
Harold: You aren’t the biggest of fan favorites nor are you well liked in the backstage area, how much affect do the fans and the other wrestlers affect you professionally or personally?
Sean Rollins: Well if you notice, the fans are starting to warm up. They have been cheering as of late, they know how it is to struggle and have to fight for everything you get. The wrestlers? Shit I don't give a fuck bout them. The truth is they all got their time coming when they will be gettin their asses handed to them in the ring by me. If anyone wants to be down wit me then it's easy I aint a mean guy they just gotta make it a point to talk to me first.
Harold: Well you gotta get along with those you work with or else the environment because hard to work in, you mentioned that the staff left you alone and you left them alone, but most if not all at some point seem to run into trouble when it comes to our esteemed owner, what do you think of Shadow? And how do you get along with him? And do you feel his lack of push for you is coming too late or are you happy how your career has progressed thus far? Now I know these are some tough questions, but you're a tough guy, so let’s hear truth as only a thug like you can say it, heh.
Sean Rollins: Shadow runs a good company, he could make it a point to bring some new blood to the top it seems as the same people stay in rotation at the top. I get along with him fine the few times we talked, he hired me after all so I have nothing but respect for him. Yea my push has come pretty slow. I now am getting one so I am going to win every match I can and continue my rise to the top. Bitch don't make me slap you back to Burger King.
Harold: Been there already tonight, stay away from the chef salads the chicken has gone bad, anyway lets talk World Title, what’s the timeframe you see for yourself and getting or winning that particular Title, and in your views why is that title so hard to keep a grasp on?
Sean Rollins: I think you been there quite a few times tonight. World Title? Yea...I can see myself working up to it for this PPV. They just don't know how to work it. Now us brothas we know what the fuck we doin with somethin that big hangin in that area! Holding two titles in SFT that will look good enough for me to get a shot I think. Or Shadow may make me defend these a few times, either way I am happy right now. If not this month then surely next month when I win the Lethal Lottery.
Harold: Well speaking from a staffer's inner circle the decision has already been made that if you win the IC title, Shadow will ask you to give up the TV Title, not what you want to hear I'm sure, but that’s the word from the old man, so question is will you just give it up or will you seek out two new faces to fight for it since you're one who believes new faces should get pushes faster.
Sean Rollins: Well that right there is some shit. Why wouldn't I be allowed to show off my skills and fight for my title? I'm a proud champion...a fighting champion! Shit I guess if I have to, I will give up the TV title and let someone like Cody Carson take over for me. Also you do know I would be the first black champion right? A nigga leading this company...
Harold: So lets talk work, besides your own body of work who else do you follow, that being whose promo's do you like to watch besides your own? Or is Sean Rollins above being a fan of others?
Sean Rollins: I enjoy watching what Shawn Walsh has to say, Cody Carson, and of course... I'm a fan of myself. Walsh I'm just interested in him because he has shown such interest in my Intercontinental title. Well we know this nigga will be holdin it after Inferno.
Harold: ok a question I enjoy asking is fantasy matches, you've been around the block and then back again, if you could fight any 3 people from any fed past or present, who would you want to fight and why?
Sean Rollins: Damn nigga almost as hard answering this question as my match with Amphetamine *LAUGHS*. It would have to be...Aj Nin Red Rum...that mutha fucka been around and is damn hard to defeat let me get one shot please?!
Sean Rollins: Then after him I’d Ace, he is also a legend...won so many matches. And finally I would say Shadow...because this is everyone’s answer
Harold: Well those are some pretty big names, im not sure if Aj Nin is still around, but the last 2 might actually happen for you in the future, as for Shadow being everyone's answer, I’m not sure about that, but he is widely regarded as "the best" ever. When your career is all said and done and it’s wrapped up, what do you want to be remembered for? What do you want your legacy to be?
Harold: The best period, well that’s some might high standards. And though I’m sure with a little work and a little luck you might get your wishes. Sean thank you for doing this interview tonight, any last words for our readers?
Sean Rollins: Just buy the hell out of this interview and talk about it. Get my name out to the mainstream, send Shadow all kinds of fan mail beggin to have your nigga in a World Title match. In the wise words of your uncle Harold, Porky The Pig that that that’s all folks!
