January 2007 Awards
This one was on the very first Inferno of 2007 and featured 6 great RP's from 4 of SFT's best RP'ers of recent times. A great way to start the year off, and let's hope it sets the benchmark for some great Tag Team action in the coming months.
WRESTLER OF THE MONTH: Shawn Walsh Turned back two fierce challenges from the legendary Dave Van Dam and kept his grip on the SFT World's Heavyweight Championship right through the month.
STABLE OF THE MONTH: Superiority Complex They recruited three big names in the form of Clayton Walker, Christian Cage and Justin Paige, and the stage looks to be set for an all-out stable war between them and The Legacy. Look for this award to be very keenly contested as we move further into 2007.
ROOKIE OF THE MONTH: No Award There were no rookies who impressed the Staff enough to claim this award.
BACKSTABBER AWARD: Christian Cage Throughout January, he was a constant thorn in the side of Shawn Walsh and Superiority Complex on Titans, but at New Beginnings it was revealed that, to use an old wrestling cliche: It was a set-up all along!
COMEBACK AWARD: Excidium Very impressive month from the big man, culminating in a hard-fought and well-earned victory over Jared Mayer for the United States Heavyweight Championship at New Beginnings.
SHOWBOAT AWARD:Clayton Walker Cocky, confident and doesn't he just know it?
HEEL AWARD: Superiority Complex People may not like their methods and tactics, but you can't deny how effective they all were right through January.
MOST PRODUCTIVE: The SFT Staff They all worked hard to deliver some great shows throughout the month.
LEAST PRODUCTIVE: Felix Bayermann So much potential, so little fulfillment of that potential.
IRONMAN AWARD: Aidan Morag & Connor MacDaddy Gave it their all in all their matches, whether winning or losing.
SFT HEART AWARD: Allisa I would write something important here, but I have no real idea of what this award is actually for, so...umm...YAY ALLISA!
RP OF THE MONTH: Schizo's 'Four Sides' RP from New Beginnings One of the most unique RPs ever seen in SFT, and thoroughly deserving of this award. If you haven't read it yet, do yourself a favour and check it out.
STAFFER OF THE MONTH: Christian Cage Stepped up to the plate as the new Titans Producer, and seems to be doing a good job of managing his new responsibilities thus far.
MATCH OF THE MONTH: Christian Cage & Ace vs. Aidan Morag & Connor MacDaddy (SFT World Tag Team Championships).
