 Ring Entrance: "Cowboy Way" by Hellyeah hits the loudspeakers and "The DC Cowboy" Barry Straight walks out to the cheers of the crowd. He takes off his leather vest and throws it down on the steel of the staging area before beginning to power walk down the aisle. At ringside he circles the ring to the far side and climbs the steps to the apron. Barry steps between the ropes and into the ring, where he throws up a "hook 'em horns" hand signal. He rotates his neck and shoulders as he waits for the bell.

CAREER OVERVIEW
History: Barry Straight was born and raised outside of Washington, D.C. in Alexandria, Virginia. His freshman year in high school Barry became a fan of professional wrestling, and attended his first show at the 1st Mariner Arena, at the time known as the Baltimore Civic Center. Straight also joined the wrestling team at his high school, and made varsity his senior year. During his senior year, Barry began participating in a pair of backyard wrestling groups. In the Krazy Extreme Wrestling League he competed under the name Karnage. The simply named Backyard Wrestling Federation repackaged him as Richmond Jefferson in homage to the state capital and to the former President Thomas Jefferson. As Jefferson, Barry would go on to win several championships in BWF, including a nearly year long reign as BWF World Champion. At the age of 21, he left college when he was signed to SFT and paired with Rene Soge as Barry Straight. The duo began as a joke, but soon showed their in-ring merit when they captured the SFT Tag Team Championships.
