CAREER
OVERVIEW
History: Tai Hashi was born on the 09th of September 1980 to Japanese martial-arts black belt, Lee Hashi and British house-wife Louise Hashi. Born in Tokyo, Japan Tai lived in a high-rise flat apartment in the city center with no brothers or sisters, just his mother and father.
At the age of two years old Tai was still living in his flat apartment in Tokyo when a freak accident occured. In this freak accident it caused Tai Hashi's flat apartment to go up in flames, leaving him homeless. To this day Tai Hashi does not speak of this accident and tries to avoid it at all costs. Social Services helped out the family, Tai's parents were re-homed somewhere in Japan while Tai was fostered to a family in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. Tai has never heard from his parents ever since the accident.
Tai's foster parents in Chicago were farm-workers and owned their own farm. Tai would help around the farm doint whatever he could to earn his pocket money. Tai saved up all his pocket money until he could afford something that would change his life forever, an electric lead guitar. Tai had always been a big fan of rock music, he used to love listening to the likes of Guns N' Roses, Metallica, Iron Maiden and the such. As Tai's guitar abillities grew, he and a three other friends made a four-piece rock band called Audio Leaf who are still running today.
Tai Hashi had a very good friend in Chicago called Jerry Girbowski. Jerry was training to become a professional wrestler, Tai had been a fan of professional wrestling. He would be glued to the television watching Andre The Giant, Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan rip each other to pieces. Jerry trained Tai from the age of 13, with Tai's martial arts skills from his father, his high-flying skills from being so agile and his technical skills learnt from Jerry, Tai was a natural. Jerry Girbowski joined a wrestling promotion by the name of the Bruiser Mania Wrestling Federation, about eight months later Tai Hashi also debuted in the BMWF under the persona "Mr. Persistence" Tai Hashi.
Tai moved away from his foster parents after that, he decided to "live on the road" in hotel rooms and such until he bought a house not far away from the farm in Chicago. Tai travelled with the BMWF with his girlfriend Athena (a.k.a D-Light). Tai didn't have much success with the "Mr. Persistence" persona and decided to mix his two jobs together and become "The Rock Star" Tai Hashi, Tai was on a roll. Tai won the BMWF Light-Heavyweight Championship after just four months in the BMWF. But once he lost the belt everything went downhill. Jerry Girbowski left the BMWF to wrestle in Japan, Tai's tag partner Bob Bartlestein retired and his stable-mates The Eco-System (Inferno, Mineral and Aquatic) turned their backs on him.
Tai later left the BMWF, he packed his bags and made his way to a new promotion that was getting a lot of support, Strike Fantasy Towers!
