CAREER OVERVIEW
History: The ICON's histroy dates back to the early year's of the SFW. Before joining the SFW, ICON floated around from fed to fed, before finally finding a home. He won titles in these feds, but they don't mean anything to him. Because once he got to the SFW, he realized that the SFW World Title is the only one that matters.

ICON's first taste of gold was the SFW TV Title. He went on to win it a total of 3 times. His next taste was a brief run with the IC Title. After feuds with Shadow, Royce, Legion, and Uno, ICON went to the tag team circuit, winning tag gold with DVD. That later turned from good to bad, as the ICON has his most vicious rivalry to date, with DVD.

ICON left the SFW for a brief period of time, but upon his return, he was the special guest referee in a match between DVD and Tony Barerra. It seemed that ICON and DVD worked out their problems, as ICON cost Barerra the title in his return to the SFW. ICON then went on to get a World Title shot against Fireball. ICON, looking to fulfill his dream, looked extremely nervous going in. But once the bell rang, ICON turned it up and eventually came out with a win. It was ICON's first ever SFW World Title, and he had waited over a year and a half for it. Unfortunetly, it came at a rough time in his life, and he was forced to give up the title and his career, as once again, the ICON retired from the SFW. Once ICON got his life on track again, he realized something was missing...The SFW.

But he wasnt sure how the SFW would take him back. They weren't happy at all that he left with the World Title still in his possession. So ICON came back, knowing that he had to mend some wounds. The SFW started him off on the bottom. And ICON worked his way up, beating jobber after jobber, until finally making it to a PPV that would pit him against his nemesis, DVD. The winner, would get a US Title shot against the Champ. ICON couldnt wait for this match, but being a little overzealous, the ICON was defeated. But as we look back on that day now, it must have been a blessing in disguise. The ICON was granted a World Title shot against JAM for the Inferno following the PPV. ICON took full advantage of the opportunity, and won the Title for a second time. But ICON didnt go into his first defense prepared and X2 defeated the ICON in a gruling match. After that, ICON shocked the fans of the SFW by becoming the SFW's newest Vice President.

As Vice President, ICON helped out the younger wrestlers, teaching them the rights and wrongs of cutting promos, he installed promos in Ground Zero and Titans (which are the two shows ICON worked on), and he joined the Outlawz. But, toward the end of ICON's Vice Presidency, he was shocked to learn that he would be the newest inductee to the SFW Hall of Fame. And that is the greatest career highlight that he's received. The ICON is now returning to the ring after 3 months as VP. After leaving his VP position ICON went on a his worst losing streak of his career. ICON lost for 2 months straight but never gave up and never gave in. He began to get on a win streak and earned a spot against Tony Barerra and SFW Heavyweight Champion Dave Van Dam in a triple tier cage match, the same match these 3 fought in at the same PPV the year before. In what was a hellacious match, the ICON rose above all the nay-sayers and became the SFW Champ for the 3rd time. People said that hell would have to freeze over before ICON became champion again, and at Dec. 2001's PPV, "When Hell Freezes Over", the ICON put all the jokes to rest. ICON started off 2002 as the last ever SFW Champion, but hit a snag when he failed to beat Kyle Murphy to become the First ever SFT Champ. The ICON got a second chance though when he, Ian Wynn, Fireball and Mad Dogg all made it as the final two tag teams in the Lethal Lottery, thus giving them the opportunity to fight out in a battle royal to become the first ever SFT Champ. The ICON was up-ended again, and thus lost his second and final opportunity to claim the fame to being the first ever SFT Champ. The ICON then went on to defeat Evan Corbyn for the US Title, only to relinquish the title the following week at the Ashes to Ashes PPV. ICON hoped to start his tag team with Ian Wynn, but Ian went on leave so ICON found running buddies in Commish Quest, Amp, Eliminator, Triple X, and Ian to form the Elite.
After this, things started to heat up for ICON as he was giving a golden opportunity at SFT Heavyweight gold. The ICON had to go through Evan Corbyn and Mad Dogg in a triple threat match. Much like ICON's triple threat match at "When Hell Freezes Over", this match was brutal. And much like the triple threat match at WHFO, ICON emerged victorious after finally defeating a long time thorn in ICON's side (Mad Dogg) and Evan Corbyn. ICON finally obtained the SFT Heavyweight Title.

After defeating Mad Dogg and Evan Corbyn to become the second SFT Champion, ICON went on to defend his title against Switchblade. The ICON did one promo for the PPV main event, and it was entitled "What a true Champion is all about". A very interesting RP to say the least, it didn't get the nod from the staff, and the ICON was defeated by Switchblade. ICON and Ian finally made their long awaited reunion from the Lethal Lottery. The team renamed themselves I for an I and vowed that they will be forever remembered as the best damn tag team to step foot in an SFT ring. In their first match, they were on the right foot...but on their ladder to success, the second rung was a snag as they were defeated by Nathan Gust and Punkman, the Short Bus Riders. It was the only time the team was beaten. After that, I for an I regrouped and earned a tag title shot against the Lotus Pod, Knife and Phantom. The LP didnt really put up much of a fight and I for an I, on May 1st 2002 claimed what was rightfully there's and have never looked back. Sunday June 30th will mark the end of the ICON era, as well as I for an I. At Blackout, ICON's career will go from the spotlights to darkness as ICON retires once and for all. This retirment will not be like the last 2 as ICON has said, he'll never return to an SFT ring. The Legend that is the ICON has accumulated a flurry of titles, rewards, recognition and respect, and for that, he is thankful. ICON's career is now a history that younger superstars will look upon and try to duplicate, but it's ICON's career that only he can relish in. The Show has stopped for him. And at the Blackout, The ICON was inducteed into the SFT Hall of Fame!

Anything after that retirement is just fun now...The ICON did wind up returning for one last run. And he did it in true ICON fashion, turning his back on 2 stables only to wind up joining the Regulators.

After a brief run with the Regulators, nothing was workin creatively for the ICON's character. Feeling burnt out and no longer having any good ideas for storylines, the ICON came to a decision that retirement for good was the best option. The ICON vowed that the only way he'd ever return was for one more run with Ian Wynn and I for an I. 6 months later, in November of 2003, Ian Wynn contacted the ICON and they began talkin of a return only to tag team action, and that's what they did. On November 9th at Inferno, ICON and Ian Wynn returned with a mean streak and began they're second tour of duty in quest for the Tag Team Titles, titles in which they had never lost.

On November 30th, at November Reign: Rise of the Kings, I for an I rose again winning a triple threat Triple Steel Cage Tag Title match to regain their tag titles. They beat Chimpo and Smurfmaster and Los Gangstas.
I for an I lost their tag titles and Ian Wynn went on leave for personal reasons. After a few week absense, the ICON came back as DVD's Recurring Nightmare in Feb. 04.

SFT Career Accomplishments:

SFT Hall of Fame
SFW Hall of Fame
SFT World Heavyweight Champion
SFT Unites States Champion x2
2x SFT Tag Team Champion w/Ian Wynn
SFW Stable Cup Holder(x4)
SFW Tag Team Champion(x4)
SFW Television Champion(x3)
SFW Intercontinental Championion(x2)
SFW World Heavyweight Champion(x3
last ever to hold title)

Other Fed Accomplishments:
ICON vs Reginald Royce...There are so many battles I had with Royce that I can't just name one particular match that shined. It was my matches with Royce
and if anyone knows royce
his rp's go on for days
but it was my matches with him that trained me to become an 'icon".

ICON vs Dave Van Dam vs Tony Barrera...This match took place in December of 2001. It was a special match because I've been put in matches with Dave before
but I could never beat him. Now I was set out to beat him
but i'd have to beat Tony Barrera too. I was completely the underdog. It's like I didnt even exist. No one gave ICON a chance. I did 3 two part rp's entitled the Past
the Present
and the Future. They were probably the 3 best rp's I've ever done. When it came time to step into the ring
although there were run in's galore
the staff decided I deserved the victory
and it was that match that i was crowned the last ever SFW Champion.

ICON vs Mad Dogg vs Evan Corbyn...Shadow kinda just through me in this match. He wanted to see if someone could take the title from Mad Dogg. Not cause he wanted it from Mad Dogg
but just to see if Mad Dogg could really be beaten. At this time
MD had the title for like 2 months
which is unheard of in efed wrestling. I did 4 rp's...Spring
Summer
Fall
Winter (The Four Season)...relating each part of a wrestling match to the seasons of the year. I originally had this idea for a grudge match I was gonna have with Biohazard
but Bio backed out of the match
leaving the idea useless...until this match. I wound up getting the pin on Evan
thus making MD lose
and I became the second ever SFT Champ. Needless to say
controversy surrounded the outcome
but nonetheless
I had beaten MD and Corbyn.

Other's include ICON vs Fireball...This is when I became SFW Champ for the first time
then ICON vs Jam for the 2nd of my 3 SFW World Title runs.

I for an I vs Superior Hatred...This match was my retirement match. It's special because it took place in my hometown of Philly. I ended my career at home. Couldn't have asked for it any other way.

ICON vs DVD...This was February 2004 Body Count. ICON finally beats DVD one on one in a brutal Hell in a Cell match that saw the ICON hit a five star frog splash off the top of the cell. ICON won the US title for the second time.
