Sunday Night Breakdown

Strike Fantasy Towers
Sunday Night Breakdown™

With Randy White and John Cartwright
11/16/08
Sunday Night 7:00pm

The pyro goes off and the music hits signaling the beginning of Sunday Night Breakdown.

RW- Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the latest edition of SUNDAY NIGHT BREAKDOWN! I’m Randy White.

JC- And I’m John Cartwright. We have a big night ahead of us and-

The lights in the arena go black.

JC- What’s going on? Looks like we’re kicking off tonight with something unexpected!

Re-Education (Through Labor) by Rise Against hits the airs and several lights flash around the top of the ramp. The lights flash back on and at the top stands a man donning blue jeans and a screen t-shirt with a designer black jacket. He’s got a smirk on his face as he surveys the arena around him. The crowd goes nuts as a long lost favorite of the past stands amongst them once again.

RW- JOHN! Do you have any idea who that is!?

JC- God, he looks familiar, but I can’t put my finger on it…

RW- It’s JOHNNY FIERCE! I can’t believe it! He’s back!

The man storms down the ramp and slides into the ring. He goes over to the corner and grabs the mic from the ring announcer. He stands in the middle and spins slowly around taking in the crowd reaction.

Fierce- Johnny Fierce is back in S…F…T….

The crowd cheers like mad, a Fierce! Fierce! Fierce! Chant encompasses the fans.

Fierce- And it feels good! I’m ecstatic to be back here wrestling again. Just a little while ago I didn’t even think I would ever step foot in this place again. It still isn’t hitting me that I’m standing in this ring right now. I’m sure it will come a little later. But the fact that I AM standing here means things are about to change here. You can feel it in the air. Obama’s the president…the BCS is going to be on ESPN, and a plethora of talent will be showing their faces in these parts that maybe haven’t been around in awhile.

They say that you can never come home again. But I, and the others that come will show that SFT is the exception to that rule. SFT is my home, its where I belong and I’m glad to be here doing the best I can and helping to fuel the monster of the Strike Towers beast.

Now that I am home its time for me take my place at the head of household. This is my one warning to everyone in the back. I’m not here to make friends. I’m not here to make people smile. I’m done with that. I’m here to take that spot at the head of the table which means, someone like Myris needs to start watching his back….Jarvis needs to start really thinking about how important that belt is he’s carrying around…Twilight needs to be on high alert. And especially an old colleague of mine…Kyle Murphy…You’ve been called out. I’m not saying anything’s gonna happen right now. But you’ve ALL been warned.

Johnny Fierce is here. Get ready for the shit to hit the wall…

Johnny drops the mic as his music hits. He raises both arms in triumph as he leaves the ring.

JC- Looks like Johnny Fierce is here to make an immediate impact within the ranks of SFT!

RW- I’m looking forward to see how this pans out! STAY TUNED!

MATCH NUMBER ONE
Pale Rider vs. Kevin Victory vs. Louis Cypher
Triple Threat Match

Louis Cypher is already in the ring, when suddenly The Pale Rider jumps the guard rail behind him, slides into the ring, and knocks Cypher down from behind. Cypher rolls out of the ring in an effort to create some distance between himself and the mysterious newcomer. Pale Rider does not allow Louis to rest, pursuing him out to the floor. He grabs Cypher and drives his head into the security rail, then whips him into the steel steps.

JC: Wow, The Pale Rider has just exploded on to the scene here!

RW: He's trying to make a name for himself, that's for sure! Even though I'm not sure exactly what that name is.

Louis Cypher tries to pull himself up against the ringsteps, and Pale Rider kicks him in the back. He then grabs Cypher by the back of the head and drives his face into the steps.

JC: How long is the referee going to allow this assault to continue?!

RW: Well, the match hasn't officially started because Kevin Victory hasn't come out yet. And even then, this match is scheduled as a triple threat. That means no countouts or disqualifications.

Suddenly Kevin Victory comes charging down the ramp, wielding a baseball bat. Pale Rider attempts to go after him, but Victory nails him in the temple with the metal bat. Rider crumples to the floor, clutching his head. Victory gives Rider a shot to the ribs for good measure before turning his attack on the defenseless Cypher, who is on his knees trying to pull himself to his feet using the ring ropes. Kevin slams the bat across Cypher's back, causing him to stiffen up and let go of the ropes. Raising the bat above his head, Victory now brings it down right over the top of Cypher's head execution style. Louis falls like a tree to his right, slamming lifelessly to the floor.

JC: Holy crap! It looks like Kevin Victory is out to hurt someone here tonight!

RW: Yeah, but can he get his first win? This guy has looked more hopeless than the Detroit Lions!

Victory tosses the baseball bat aside and pulls up Cypher's lifeless body. He bodyslams him hard on the floor, then rolls him into the ring. Kevin takes his time taunting to the fans at ringside and climbing up the steel steps into the ring. He attempts to bring Cypher back to his feet, but Louis rakes his eyes. Cypher follows up by whipping Victory to the ropes.

JC: Louis Cypher is fighting back!

RW: How the Hell is he doing it?! On the return, Cypher kicks Victory in the midsection, doubling him over.

JC: DDT!

RW: ...He calls that a trademark?

Cypher covers. 1... Victory throws him off like a bench press.

Cypher looks to follow up on his offense, but Victory pushes him off with one hand, sending him back into the ropes. Cypher bounces off the ropes and right into a big boot from Victory.

JC: Big boot to the face! Apocalypse Junior looks unstoppable tonight!

RW: It's a miracle! Victory stalks Cypher, waiting for him to get up. Louis crawls to the ropes and starts trying to pull himself to his feet again, as Kevin waits patiently. Cypher finally stands upright, and turns around right into a bicycle kick from Victory.

JC: Oh no! What a pump kick! Another decapitating boot right to the face by Victory!

RW: Who knew Big Kev had it in him?!

Victory runs to the ropes and sends a leg drop crashing across the throat of Cypher. Kevin then pulls Louis up to his feet by throat, wraps both hands around Cypher's throat, and lifts him up off the mat. Kev slams Louis to the mat with a big double barrel chokeslam which shakes the ring. Pale Rider finally slides back into the ring, blood trickling down the side of his head from the single massive blow of Victory's baseball bat.

JC: Here comes Pale Rider again!

RW: Ya' know, I had almost forgotten about him.

JC: Easy enough to do, I guess.

RW: It looks like Victory had forgotten, too.

Victory looks surprised by Pale Rider's entrance, but quickly turns his attack on the rookie. He stomps the newcomer across the back before Rider can even get to his feet. PR falls back to the mat, and Victory pulls him to his feet. Victory delivers a quick, hard vertical suplex.

JC: I thought he might have been going for what he calls the Apocalypse Now, but I guess not just yet.

RW: What's the Apocalypse Now?

Kevin drags Pale to his feet again and hits a slingshot suplex, focusing his attack on Rider's back. Louis Cypher gets to his feet and punches Kevin Victory as he stands up from delivering his second consecutive suplex to Pale Rider. Victory retaliates with a hard uppercut. Cypher staggers backward, and Victory follows up with a straight punch to the chest. Cypher bends forward, gasping for breath after having his chest blasted. Victory wraps both hands around Cypher's throat a second time, lifts him up, and drives him to the mat with the WEAPON OF HATE.

JC: Weapon Of Hate!

RW: Remarkable! Victory has actually hit a finisher!

Victory stands up, looking at both his opponents laid out in the ring. He goes to the corner and climbs to the top rope. With a wicked grin, he stands on the top rope and dives off with a senton bomb. Louis Cypher manages to roll out of the way of Victory's attempt to squash him, and Kevin hits the canvas hard. Victory staggers to his feet, almost out of it after slamming himself to the mat from the top rope. Cypher capitalizes by hooking both arms from behind, dragon style.

JC: The double underhook!

RW: And there's the UNHOLYER!

JC: No way! Cypher is going to win thing!

RW: It can't be!

Cypher stands up, raising his hand in the air and making the horns hand gesture, convinced he has the match won. Suddenly Pale Rider hooks him from behind and plants Cypher with an Unholyer of his own!

JC: Holy Shiite! Pale Rider just gave Louis Cypher a taste of his own medicine with the Unholyer!

RW: An Unholyer on Louis Cypher?! Has that ever been done before?!

JC: Does anyone care?

RW: Good point.

Pale Rider pulls Cypher back to his feet, and delivers a front Russian legsweep.

JC: Damn! I hope Louis Cypher likes the taste of canvas, 'cuz he's eating a lot of it here tonight!

RW: You can say that again! He gets dropped on his face for the second time in a row!

Pale Rider turns Louis Cypher over and pins him.

1... 2... 3!

JC: Wow! Pale Rider with an impressive debut!

RW: He didn't have to work to hard for that win!

WINNER OF THIS MATCH: Pale Rider via pinfall!!!

MATCH NUMBER TWO
Myris vs. The Great Malinko
Standard Match

The entrance clouds with smoke, fireworks flare through the visual obstruction sending sparkes everywhere, and South West Voodoo hits as The Great Malinko makes his way through the fog to the ring.

RW: Heres The Great Malinko after almost a year away from wrestling, lets see if hes lost a step or two?

The crowd sit expectantly in their seats as the first murmurings of 'Head like a Hole' start to play out into the arena, strobe lights start to strafe the arena as they seek the illusive Myris. As the heavy line kicks in Myris emerges from one of the emergency exits in the crowd accompanied by a few of the security staff to keep the hateful crowd at bay. Myris makes his way to the ring and slides in under the bottom rope, he stands up, removes his shirt and throws it at the referee before standing on the second turnbuckle - a picture of focused tranquility amongst the seething boos from a disapproving crowd.

Myris and The Great Malinko are both in the ring after their introductions as the bell rings. Malinko starts it off with a clothesline followed by a back body drop. He grabs Myris and executes a belly to belly suplex as he cradles it into a pin 1……….2…………kickout!

RW: Not gonna happen that fast.

JC: But Malinko looks good, I thought hed have some rust but so far so good.

Malinko continues with an elbow drop followed by a backbreaker, he locks in an old move the figure 8, sorta like a figure 4.

RW: Havent seen that in ages.

But Myris is too close to the ropes and the ref makes Malinko break the hold. As Malinko advances Myris sweeps the legs and nails Malinko in the throat with an elbow. Malinko is gasping for air as Myris gets up and quickly locks in a sleeper hold trying to capitalize on the lack of oxygen.

JC: this could be it, Malinko might not make it past this, hes in big trouble!

Malinko is getting up but Myris is trying to keep him down, finally Malinko falls flat on and Myris chin collides with the top of Malinkos skull as Myris jumps back in awful pain.

RW: That’s gotta hurt, I think I just Myris spit out some blood.

Malinko now takes advantage and nails a full nelson slam. He then grabs Myris and hits a suplex he covers 1………..2…………..kickout at the last moment!

The crowd are on their feet.

Malinko climbs the turnbuckle and goes for his Tilt a Whirl as he flies off Myris scoots out of the way and as Malinko hits the mat hard and bounces off it Mryis uses that very momentum to roll him up in a school boy package and grabbing tights but the ref doesn’t see it, 1……….2…………3!!!!

WINNER OF THIS MATCH: Myris via pinfall!!!

JC: That’s it, Myris takes the win!

RW: But what a great match from The great Malinko, he has little rust but from what we saw its showed very little. Great match by both guys.

JC: Agreed.

MATCH NUMBER THREE
Megan the Monster vs. Twilight
IC Title Match

JC: Next up we have the IC Title bout between Megan the Returning Monster and Twilight defending champion!"

RW: Megan, of course, is the only monster I know that weighs in at less than a hundred and sixty pounds... but that's hardly the point.

“Straightjacket” by Alanis Morissette hits and the arena grows dark. Two gold sparklers burst from the stage and a smoke fills the entrance way.

Something so benign for me construed as cruelty, Such a difference between who I am and who you see. Conclusions you come to of me routinely incorrect, I don’t know who you’re talking to with such fucking disrespect.

Megan jumps out from behind the curtain and onto the stage. She throws her arms up and spins around. The crowd explodes in cheers as gold lights flash through the arena.

JC: Typically extravagant entrance from the fan favorite to become the next IC Champion.

RW: What do the fans know though? Do they know how hard Twilight has been trying?

Your way’s making me mental, How you filter as skewed interpret. I swear you won’t be happy til, I am bound in a straight jacket.

JC: Trying hard to do what? From what I've heard his ruthless words have turned most of the locker room against him - and with his lack of warmth to the fans they aren't taking to him either...

RW: Exactly. Imagine how hard he's had to fight to get to this stage - without the backing of the fans or his fellow wrestlers...

JC: Some might say he's had the backing of...

RW: Finish that sentence and I'll have you fired, John.

She races down the entrance way, cutting through the white smoke and slides into the ring. She slides into the ring and quickly stands. She spins around in a circle in the center of the ring and jumps up and down. She throws up her arms then swiftly brings them down sending two gold fireworks out from above the ring.

JC: You can't fire me!

RW: No, but I know a man who can, and he won't be pleased if you say that.

Grand dissonance, The strings of my puppet are cut. The end of an era, Your discrediting’s lost my consent. She moves her neck from side to side and waits for her opponent.

JC: It's hardly even a controversial subject now though, we all know that he likes him as a person...

RW: John, Shut up!

'Basket-case" by Greenday starts to thump out in to the arena as the Intercontinental Champion, Twilight makes his way out from behind the curtain on to the stage to a pretty lukewarm reaction from the crowd.

JC: But he does, they have beers together and hang out backstage!

RW: ENOUGH!

JC: Randy, I heard a rumor they spitroasted one of the...

There's a scuffling noise on the mic's as Randy punches John swiftly to the face.

JC: OW! Suddenly we see Pale Rider come down to ringside near JC and RW and sits on a fold out chair with his arms crossed watching the match.

RW: Whats he doing here?

JC: Beats me

Megan looks at him as he strides down the ramp unbuckling his title before he's reached the ring, and mouths as he unbuckles it that he should kiss good bye to it while he has the chance.

JC [speaking through the pain] - Megan looks determined...

RW: And Twilight doesn't care how determined she looks, he's confident.

Twilight just laughs it off as he takes his final steps at the bottom of the ring and referee Rudy Hebner takes the title from him at the ringside and holds it high in the air. The bell rings and Megan and Twilight come together in battle, the much taller Twilight takes a complete upper hand early on and hammers closed fists in to the face of the challenger almost unchallenged to begin with. Megan finds herself hammered back in to a corner before being propelled across the ring and rammed by the running Twilight as she lands in the next corner.

RW: Great start from the hard working Twilight...

JC: Who obviously got here all off his own back...

RW: Do you want a sore ass to go with that Jaw, John?

JC: I bet that's what they said right before they spit-

There's another scuffling noise before the commentators speak again.

JC: I really hate you sometimes, Randy, you know that?

Twilight takes a step back from the corner and waits for Megan to fall back, but she grabs the top rope from both sides of the buckle and leaps up forcing both feet back in to the mid-rift of Twilight and folding him over.

JC: Great counter from megan as she fights her way back.

RW: Twilight's just baiting her, teasing her. She'll fall for it, then he'll take her!

JC: So I don't get to say that... thing that you keep hitting me about - but you get to say that? Double standards or what!

Megan leaps on to the second rope before any time has passed and throws herself over the bent double Twilight landing behind him and grabbing his inside leg to schoolboy her huge opponent to the mat before hooking his left leg in a one leg boston crab and dragging him as far as she can from the ropes in the corner.

RW: Nice twisting in the air and a great leg lock from megan! It's a family program John, you just can't talk about that kinda stuff on air...

JC: But you can?

RW: Mines wasn't intentional - it's not like I claimed that Twilight bookended some chick in the locker rooms...

There's a scuffle again on the mic as John strikes out at Randy.

JC: HAH! Eye for an eye, bitch!

Megan wrenches at her grabbed leg and twists her body to force more and more pain out of the maneuver, the crowd are chomping at the bit to see Megan get the win and Twilight's hand fall to the mat but are left disappointed...

RW: Nice reversal by Twilight - all about the power there.

JC: I bet he's powered his way out of a few positions.

RW: John, I'm warning you!

In a feat of strength so admirable that the crowd momentarily forget their allegiance to Megan giving him cheers and applause after he has flipped Megan over from the Boston Crab with his one leg and managed to release himself. Megan rolls over on to her feet again and manages to charge back to Twilight and dropkick him before he's fully on his feet. Twilight rolls over and out of the ring quickly where he seeks a bit of peace and quiet to recover.

1... Twilight threatens to roll back in and Megan looks to pounce as soon as he does forcing him to beg off, Rudy Hebner gets in Megan's face and tries to cool her off and let Twilight roll back in.

2... Twilight circles the ring for another second while Rudy ticks off Megan.

3...

JC: Rudy trying to calm down the Monster and let this match restart fairly here. But really as soon as he's in the ring he's fair game, right?

RW: Technically... But it wouldn't be right.

Twilight slides back in and charges furiously at Megan and turns her inside out with a quick clothesline as Rudy ducks out of the road to save himself. Megan flips over on to her front from the force and venom of the clothesline before pushing herself back to her knees and finding herself the victim of vicious kicks to the head and body before she is hauled from the mat and driven to the mat by a DDT that shakes the ring posts.

Twilight crawls in to a cover hoping he's done enough.

1... 2...

RW: Near fall for Twilight from that outstanding DDT - see where hard work takes you, John?

JC: Almost winning? No one ever got any prizes for almost winning, you know...

Kick out by Megan and Twilight isn't wasting time arguing about a slow count like most would. He hauls Megan up with him and looks to sweep her leg out from under her with a Russian Leg Sweep - straight away though Megan is elbowing at his face and trying to fight back. She manages one massive elbow to his mouth and as he stumbles back she spins on her heel and grabs his neck in a front facing bull dog that leaves Twilight on the mat. Quick elbows follow and Megan stands to the applause of the crowd for her quick turnaround.

RW: Surely Rudy should step in and take care of this - she can't go elbowing him like that!

JC: Why not?

RW: It's against the rules, isn't it?

JC: No...

RW: Well it should be, that's Twilight, damn it!

Megan lets Twilight get back to his knees before unleashing a series of kicks and open fisted shots to his face. Twilight gets dazed from the rush of punches and Megan bounds off the faraway ropes and hits an innovative big boot to the face of her kneeling foe before landing on him in a pin.

1... 2...

JC: Nice boot to the face from megan and... a Near fall rather than a pin - see what talent can do to hard work when it's in the right hands, Randy?

RW: Oh yeah - you gotta be real talented to kick someone in the face when they're on their knees...

Twilight kicks out and rolls over on to his front before starting to crawl to the ropes to help himself up. Megan is quick off the mark though and is stalking him all the way. As soon as Twilight is leaning against the top rope trying to catch his breath and gain his bearings, Megan springboards her elfin frame from the second turnbuckle in to the air and over the top rope towards Twilights hanging head over the tope rope. The result is an outrageous choke that not only leaves Twilight breathless and red in the face but takes him tumbling over the top with Megan as she falls and both competitors land in a crumpled heap on the safety mats. Hebner counts them out as they crawl for an advantage from the fall.

JC: Holy shit! Excellent innovation from Megan as she moonsaults out and lands on the hung up Twilight taking him to the outside!

RW: Illegal and wasteful, I think you'll find. First, she's choked him-

JC [cutting in] - Makes a change from him making other people-

RW [cutting back in forcefully] - SECONDLY, she's damaged herself as badly as she has Twilight. What's the point?

1... 2...

Megan has a hand on the apron of the ring as Twilight is on the Steel ring steps and trying to make his way back in to the ring that way.

3...

JC: What's Twilight doing here?

Hebner watches as Twilight stands on the steps, dazed and dizzy as Megan is on her feet and staggers away from the apron to the safety barrier behind Twilight. Foolishly - or brilliantly - depending on how the match will spin, Twilight turns away from the ring and the count out.

RW: Looks like he's gonna fly!

4...

He throws himself in a flying clothesline at Megan on the safety barrier and once again both athletes land in a pile at the bottom of the apron.

JC: Wow... a clothesline... inventive...

RW: You don't need to be inventive if you work hard enough at making the little moves work, John!

JC: It'd be more entertaining if he was though, right?

RW: Well, some people might like chain wrestling and counter after counter - but some of us like good old fashioned Clotheslines and punches, John.

5... 6... 7...

Megan clamors to her feet and rolls back in, Twilight is a moment behind her but nothing that causes another second on the clock. Once in the ring, both wrestlers are less than active, still struggling to find their feet.

RW: Both fighters still reeling from the aerial attack from Megan earlier on here...

JC: That kind of innovation takes a lot out of everyone - I'm shocked you've not had a heart attack actually, Randy.

RW: What's that supposed to mean?

JC: Well. you folks that love Punches, Clotheslines and such... tend to be in your late eighties and have faulty pacemakers, no?

Megan is in the corner as Twilight makes it to one knee in the middle of the ring, Megan starts to climb, perhaps blindly to the top rope - the fans are convinced she has a plan though and cheer her ascent.

JC: Megan's headed for the top, Randy!

RW: Another wasteful move, no doubt!

JC: We'll see...

Twilight makes it to his feet as Megan steadies herself on the top. Megan pounces from the ropes to her foe's shoulders and manages to take him to the mat in a hurricanrana that ends up as a convoluted pin attempt.

JC: Wonderful Hurricanrana in to the pin!

RW: Hardly wonderful, spinny, maybe?!

JC: Oh My God! Mock Shock from this commentator as TK Money sprints down the ramp with a steel chair!

RW: Do you want me to hit you again?

Megan locks up the pin as TK hammers down the ramp as fast as he can! 1...

JC: Is Megan going to win the title?

RW: Has TK got enough time to change it? 2...

JC: Megan's gotta have it, she can't lose now!

RW: TK's in the ring!

The hand almost fell for three. But it slumped rather than fell as TK Money lashed out at Rudy Hebner to stop the count before the third fall of his hand! Megan stands up to confront him and is dealt the same cards with a thud to the face as she arises! Rudy Hebner is waving wildly to the announcer as the bell rings out and he falls over cradling his head!

Pale Rider simply gets up without any emotion and walks away.

WINNER OF THIS MATCH: Megan the Monstervia DQ!!!

JC: I can't believe this...

RW: Twilight triumphs due to awesome hard work again! He retains the IC Title!

JC: And just a little help from his friend, TK Money!

RW: TK hit Hebner to end this match, not Megan!

JC: What's the difference? Cheating is cheating!

TK Money grabs Twilight and hauls him from the ring with his IC Title as Megan gets back to her feet and looks on in... well it can't be called disbelief, because she damn well believes it.

JC: Megan doesn't look a bit surprised here, Randy. I think she knew no matter how close she came, TK money wouldn't let this happen...

MATCH NUMBER FOUR
Mike Zybala vs. Josh Konelly
US Title Match

JC: Having watched that last match, Randy - I'm not sure I can afford to disagree with you before renewing my medical insurance... Who's your pick for this one? With the Megan Twilight match having over-ran - Josh and Mike are rushed in to the ring without the pomp and ceremony they are used to. Both men find themselves, moments later, listening to the bell as it sounds. Mike Zyballa turns and tries to get the encouragement of the crowd before making a move, it's a huge mistake as Josh is all over him from the start.

RW: Cheeky son of a... I'm backing Josh Konnelly to destroy this upstart!

JC: Then my opinion, my jaw and my ass are backing Josh too! But we just got word that Shadow has made this match for the US title, since Jarvis has given up the title, so we get a new US champ crowned tonight!

With an early reverse DDT, Zyballa is bounced off the mat by the back of his head straight away and Josh is in the driving seat. As soon as Zyballa returns to his feet he's on the receiving end of a kick to the gut and a swinging neckbreaker! Josh is relentless and as soon as Zyballa is down he is being hammered down further with body and face blows from his tight fists.

JC: I think we picked a good horse Randy - can we put cash on this?

RW: Maybe... check if someone's running a book back there.

JC: I'll have a look!

Zyballa scrambles him away and scrambles to a corner right after. Josh isn't for relenting though as he follows his man to the corner with a knee to the guts and a quick side suplex. Josh crawls in to a cover which breaks quickly as Zyballa is still scrambling away from him. This time he makes it out of the ring before being ruthlessly chased out by Konnelly. Moments later Zyballa slides back in and turns to catch the chasing Josh with a quick kick to his rising face! Zyballa breathes a sigh of relief - which is all he has time to do before being hunted again by Josh.

JC: I found a guy that'll give us evens on Josh from here! I'm putting $50 on him!

RW: Fifty? Pussy, here's a hundred - this is money in the bank!

Josh charges after the kick and despite a good dodge Zyballa is too slow to dodge him twice. Josh sweeps away Zyballa's legs and locks in the Killing Embrace in the middle of the ring. It's not long before Zyballa is frantically tapping at the mat and the referee is raising Josh's hand and pronouncing him the new Number One Contender to the US Title.

WINNER OF THIS MATCH: Josh Konellyvia pinfall!!!

JC: YES! We won, Randy! Free money Randy!

RW: In fairness we're pretty well paid... but more money is always welcome!

JC: You get paid for this!?

"In the Face Of Anger" by Shattersphere plays as Josh looks at Zyballa pitifully as he makes his way backstage to lick his wounds.

RW: Josh Konnelly folks, the next in line for that US Title Shot!

JC: Seriously Randy, don't bullshit me... they're meant to pay us for this?

MATCH NUMBER FIVE
Kyle Murphy vs. Radiant
World Title Match

JC: And here we go with our World Title match.

RW: This has all the makings of a match of the year.

The noise coming from the crowd slowly begins to dwindle out when suddenly the opening for "Tom Sawyer" by Rush begins to play throughout the arenas speakers. The entire crowd stands up and lays in a heavy smatter of boos, though a cheer here and there remains for Radiant as we see them turn towards the stage awaiting his arrival. We cut to the stage as we see Radiant step through the curtains with a sadistic half smile on his face and begins to head down the ramp. He carelessly walks by the fans making his way down the ramp ignoring the few hands that extend for a high five. He reaches the bottom of the ramp and turns over to his left and heads to the steel stairs. He climbs up them and steps onto the ring apron. He pauses for a moment and stares down at his feet for a second. Soon enough he lifts his head up and steps into the ring in between the middle and top rope. He enters the ring and heads over to one of the far turnbuckles and simply leans back against it with both arms spread out over the ropes. Radiant looks around the arena at people in the crowd just buying some time to emit his confidence. "Tom Sawyer" by Rush quickly fades out.

RW: There's the challenger.

JC: He looks focused and ready!

RW: And here comes the champion!

"Mutherfucker Of The Year" by Mötley Crüe hits the loudspeakers and gold pyro erupts at the stage area. Kyle Murphy walks out with the SFT Championship around his waist. He walks down the ramp to ringside, where leaps to the top of the steps, then walks backward to the middle of the apron. He raises his left arm before stepping through the ropes and into the ring. From there he goes to the far corner and climbs to the second rope. There he removes the SFT Championship from around his waist and raises it over his head. The crowd roars its approval, and Murphy steps down off the second rope. Handing the belt to the referee, he holds up his right arm and prepares himself for a fight.

JC: There's the champ.

RW: The champ is here!

JC: Now can he stay champ?

The referee takes the title and holds it up for the audience to see, and then hands it to the time keeper. The ref calls for the bell to start the match and Kyle and Radiant keep in the middle of the ring and start trash talking each other. Radiant slaps Kyle across the face, and then Kyle responds with a kick to the gut and then a clubbing blow to the back. Radiant drops to his knees in pain, and Kyle knees Rad in the face. Kyle goes for a quick pin but Rad kicks out. Kyle picks up Rad, and Rad quickly rakes the eyes. Kyle backs off, holding his eyes. Rad then rushes Kyle with punches and kicks. Rad then starts kicking Kyle's knee, and finally dropkicking the knee, knocking Kyle off his feet. Kyle holds his knee and Rad starts stomping at it. Radiant picks up Kyle's hurt leg and spin around quickly on it, landing on his knees putting Kyle's leg at a very awkward angle. Kyle screams in pain as the ref asks him if he can keep going. Radiant picks up Kyle and then picks up Kyle's leg, attemping a dragon screw, but Kyle hits an enzuigiri that sends Radiant tumbling out to the floor.

JC: OH that had to hurt!

RW: Kyle rattled Radiant's brain there, but how good is his knee.

Kyle lays in the ring, trying to loosen up his leg, as Radiant gets up from the floor. Kyle slowly gets up and comes over to the ropes to grab Radiant, but Rad pulls on Kyle's legs, knocking him over. Rad then pulls out Kyle's leg far enough to lift it and slam it against the ring apron. Kyle screams out in pain. Rad then turns Kyle over, on to his stomach, and hops up on the apron. Rad takes Kyle's hurt leg and pulls it out through the bottom and middle ropes. He then pulls Kyle's leg back in between the top and middle ropes, and hooks on a halfcrab, using the ropes. Kyle screams out in pain as the referee gets on Radiant's case about using the ropes, and then starts a 5 count. Rad takes the count up to 4 and lets go. Kyle holds his knee as the referee and Rad start arguing over the rope break. Radiant picks up Kyle and brings him over to the corner. Rad attemps to put Kyle's leg out through the top and middle ropes but Kyle starts fighting back with forearms to the back. Kyle grab's Rad's head and headbutts him, causing Rad to stumble back. Before Rad can recover Kyle bursts out of the corner with a spear. Both men are down on the mat, with Kyle holding his knee, and Radiant now holding his mid-section.

JC: What a match!

RW: Kyle Murphy's knee has really taken a beating. I don't know how much force was behind that spear.

JC: I think he had more than enough force to possibly have won.

RW: Are we watching the same match? Have you been sipping on Grandpa's cough medicine again?

Both men get up slowly and then rush each other. Radiant runs with a dropkick, but Kyle sidesteps him, and picks him back up quickly, and knees him in the face with his good knee. Kyle then whips Radiant to the ropes and hits a big spinebuster. Kyle looks around as the fans start standing and cheering. Kyle picks up Radiant and hims him into the corner. Kyle stomps his bad leg on the mat, showing that it's not affecting him right now, and then rushes into the corenr with a big clothesline. Radiant stumbles out of the corner and into a Gargoyle Suplex from Kyle. Kyle goes for a pin.

1... 2....

Radiant gets the shoulder up, and Kyle shakes his head. Kyle gets up, picking up Rad along with him. Kyle motions that it's over, and goes for the Warrior's Code. He hooks it but Radiant fights out of it. Rad starts kicking at Kyle's knee, causing him to drop to a kneeling position. Rad then hits a punch to Kyle's face, and then runs the ropes. Rad rebounds off the ropes to be met with a kick by Kyle, who then hooks Rad for the Gold Mine. Kyle lifts up Radiant, but his knee buckles on him, causing him to drop to a knee, and lose his grip on Radiant. Radiant lands on his feet and hooks on the Checkmate, but Kyle reverses out of it, arm wrenching Rad, and pulling him into a Warrior's Code, which he hits. Kyle goes for the pin.

1... 2... 3....

JC: Wow, look at that win.

RW: NO, LOOK AT THAT! RADIANT GOT THE FOOT ON THE ROPE!

JC: What? HE DID, and the referee sees it. The referee is waving off the pin!

As the ref waves off the pin and points at Radiant's foot on the rope Kyle Murphy is asking for his belt and barely standing, using the ropes to stay on his feet. Kyle raises his hands in victory but the referee comes over and tells him on, and then points to the foot on the ropes. Kyle pushes the ref and starts arguing with him. Kyle then turns and goes over to Radiant. He picks up Radiant and brings him to the center of the ring and attempts another Gold Mine. This time, Radiant quickly starts knee striking Kyle's knee and then hooks in a small package, and the referee drops down for the pin.

1... 2.... 3....

JC: Oh my god, what did we just see.

WINNER OF THIS MATCH: Radiant via pinfall!!!

RW: We saw someone lose because of poor ring placement!

Radiant gets over to a corner and looks around as Kyle lays in the middle of the ring holding his knee. The referee comes over to Radiant and raises his hand and gives him the SFT World Title. Radiant smiles and stands up, showing everyone that he's now the champ. He then bends over Kyle, showing him the title, and proceeds to stomp on Kyle's knee a little more before leaving the ring.

JC: And there you have it folks, Radiant is your new SFT World Champion.

RW: One little mistake can cost you a lot in this business, John.

JC: You got that right, Randy. And tonight, a mistake by Kyle, in not noticing where he was in the ring, cost him a win, and now we have a new SFT Champion, in Radiant!
