Live from Bufallo NY. With Randy White and John Cartwright at Ringside.

Opening

They say there is a certain silence that falls over the world as if in the center of a hurricance. Then after some moments we hear the roar of the crowd. Some say hell is reserved for the treasonous and for the betrayers. But we believe that hell is reserved for the just. It is after all true, the good do die young. And god save the queen. God save the those who would call us friend. Cause few know the true meaning of the word.

We see the black veil on an elevated stage drop as we see Tool start to play FortySix and 2. The crowd are in awe but after a few seconds most can be seen going pretty much insane. Afterwards it takes several minutes for the crowd to settle down.

RW and JC take their spots but neither is smiling. Tonight is another work night.

RW: Folks let me be frank.

JC: And ill be Randy?

RW: What, lets just get this show on the road.

Match Number One
Sean Staff vs. Skyline
( Standard Match )

Skyline and Sean Starr are both in the ring as the bell rings.

RW: Here we go first match of the night.

Skyline starts it off with a clothesline followed by a quick diamond cutter, but he doesn’t cover. Sean with a spear as he gets a 1 count. Sean with a knee to the head of Skyline, but that only angers him as Skyline is up fast and hits him with a shoulder block.

JC: What a show of power by Skyline, nice.

Skyline with an F5, then picks up Sean for several seconds and executes perfectly a Tombstone Piledriver, he covers Sean, 1…..2…..3!

Winner: Skyline

RW: Wow Skyline is impressive and this just handed to me, he will face the Hardcore Champion at the ppv in 2 weeks!

JC: Should be a great match

RW: Indeed.

Match Number Two
Johnny AM vs. Twilight
( Hardcore Title triple threat match)

All three men are in the ring as the bell rings. Johnny sizes up Twilight and Daniel, while Twilight only looks down at the floor. Daniel doesn’t even waste time as he kicks Twilight in the head and nails Johnny with a flying forearm.

RW: Here we go

JC: This match should be good, both Twilight and Johnny made what could have been a let down week turn into quite an interesting one.

Johnny grabs a trashcan and nails Daniel over the head with it. Twilight with a large 2 x 4 piece of lumber nailing Johnny in the gut. Twilight turns right around and nails Daniel with it as well. He tries to cover Daniel but Johnny breaks it up.

RW: I have a feeling this match is not going to end that quickly.

Twilight sets up a table, grabs Daniel and throws him on the table. Twilight now with a big steel trashcan lid. Twilight climbs the turnbuckles. He flies off the air as Johnny is getting up, Twilight puts the lid under his feet as he bulldozes Daniel with it and through the table. Pieces of table hit Johnny as the crowd just go nuts.

JC: Holy Mackerel!!!

RW: Twilight just destroyed Daniel and darkness has fallen over Mendoza.

JC: Daniel looks hurts, his leg looks either sprained or broken.

Daniel is helped out of the ring by trainers as Twilight and Johnny are about to square off again.

RW: and then there were two, the champ due to injury will be assured the loss of his title.

JC: Tough break for Daniel but it happens.

Johnny AM is still picking pieces of woof off himself as Twilight off the ropes using the same steel trashcan lid he used on Daniel. Using it as a makeshift shield and taking out Johnny. Johnny falls back against the ropes and Twilight uses the lid shield to hit Johnny right in the throat. Cutting off his airway.

RW: Aww that’s just total viciousness by Twilight.

JC: He did warn Johnny he wouldn’t forget this match.

RW: And I guess not being able to breath for a minute is a good way to remember anyone.

Twilight with a Implant DDT onto a piece of table that’s scattered around the ref counts 1………..2…………..kickout by Johnny.

Twilight tries a summersault plancha but this time Johnny is able to rollout of the way as Twilight hits the mat. Johnny with a tempered suplex onto the half bent trashcan. Johnny covers him 1……….2…………..kickout by Twilight!

RW: I must say its been an entertaining match so far.

Johnny puts the steel bat across Twilights neck, trying hard to cut off his breat.

JC: Johnny trying to repay the favor from earlier. Johnny with a big boot on the bat driving it into Twilights throat.

But Twilight gets up instantly without so much as touching his neck and kicks Johnny in the gut and nails a big time neckbreaker!

RW: Jesus howd he do that.

JC: Twilight has died so many times I don’t think a minute or two without air bothers him much.

Twilight grabs Johnny and hits him in the face than uses the same steel bat to fly off with a lariat ala Barry Windham and totally busts open Johnny. Blood everywhere as the fans are cheering. No emotion on Twilight, his eyes are blank.

RW: Twilight is showing something else tonight.

Twilight climbs the ropes to attempt a swan dive head butt he flies off but Johnny lifts the steel lid that Twilight had used earlier as a shield and Twilight nails himself. Johnny covers 1………….2…………….3! Twilight lifts his shoulder an millisecond too late as Johnny wins!

JC: Great win for Johnny there.

Winner: Johnny AM

Twilight gets up even before Johnny does, doesn’t even give Johnny a second glance and walks away.

The crowd and Johnny are left a bit puzzled.

JC: Our next match is for the US title, and should give us some fireworks!

Match Number Three
The Lion vs. Mike Zybala
( US Title match )

RW: Well, Zybala is looking rather apathetic in there, while the Lion looks hungry.

JC: Great pun!

RW: There's no need for that kind of language- this is a family show.

The referee calls for the bell and the Lion comes tearing out of his corner. In seconds, he's got Zybala pinned against the turnbuckles. After a flurry of blows, Lion takes Zybala down with a haymaker. The referee moves to pull Lion away, but he continues to stomp away on his downed opponent. The referee gets more forceful, but the Lion shrugs him off like a ragdoll. At this point, the referee does what is in his best interest- he backs away.

JC: The Lion was pretty angry when Zybala didn't bother to cut a promo...

The Lion now lifts Zybala back up, delivers more blows, then Irish whips him into the opposite corner. Lion rushes across the ring and nails Zybala with one hell of a clothesline.

RW: Zybala's down again!

JC: Doesn't look like it'll be for long though. Lion is hoisting him up onto the top turnbuckle... A suplex from the top rope!!

The Lion covers quickly. The referee counts...1...2...3!!!

Winner: The Lion

JC: Up next is our Intercontinental Title match.

Match Number Four
Sara Pettis vs. DVD
( IC Title Match )

RW: There's no love lost between these two.

JC: They're already in the ring, ready to go!

Sara Pettis looks rather calm, while DVD is pacing back and forth in his corner. When the bell rings, they circle around each other a bit before DVD makes the first move.

JC: DVD making the first move, they're locked up. DVD pushes for a German suplex it looks like-

RW: And a reversal by the little girl!

JC: Little girl? Sara Pettis is a finely tuned wrestling machine!

Pettis, now behind DVD, is stonewalled by DVD's wrapping a foot around hers. She pushes him forward, away from her, and dropkicks him when he turns around. DVD stumbles backward, but gets Pettis with a clothesline when she gets back up. Pettis sweeps DVD's legs out from under him.

JC: Both competitors coming out strong early on. It looks like DVD might be a little bit surprised by the fight Pettis is putting up.

Pettis makes a run for the ropes and bounces off, apparently intending to perform an elbow drop, but DVD rolls out of the way at the last moment. Pettis spends a moment on the ground favoring her left elbow before DVD brings her to her feet, promptly putting her into a hammerlock. Pettis begins to protest in agony, and the referee is there immediately, but Pettis remains steadfast.

RW: Is she REALLY going to try to get out of this one?

JC: DVD shifts his weight to adjust the hold, and Pettis capitalizes on the opportunity! She swings around and wraps DVD up in a crossface chickenwing!

RW: Bob Backlund style! Nice!

DVD struggles to break the hold, and for a moment appears to before Pettis slams down to the mat hard. She's quick to cover as is the referee to count. 1...2...3!

RW: That's one hell of a three count!

JC: DVD is still in shock!

Winner: Sara Pettis

would you say that divinity comes from above or from the soul? And is tragedy reserved for us to have compassion or compassion in order to understand tragedy?
