Andre Juric vs. Maniac Mike
(#1 Contendership to Television Title)

Maniac Dance starts up as Maniac Mike comes down to the ring as the crowd
are into it.  Creep by Radiohead hits as Andre Juric comes to the ring to a small hail of boos.

RW:  I guess we have our face and our heel.

Maniac Mike hits Andre with a European uppercut then a back body drop.  He then nails a powerslam, followed by a body slam.  Maniac now with a headubtt on Andre.  MM with a nuclear assault of flurries of punches on Andre.  Andre is now staggering as MM hits a one handed stunner!  MM covers

kickout at the last second by Andre Juric!

JC:  Theres a wake up call if I ever saw one!

RW:  Maniac is making short work of Andre.

Maniac with a running powerbomb but only gets a 2 count.  Maniac Mike with a
german suplex, followed by a backbreaker, but he still does not cover.  MM lifts up Andre and hits a brainbuster, followed by a tombstone piledriver.  MM with a guillotine leg drop, followed by a belly to back suplex!

RW:  MM is showing he has power as well as speed.

JC:  Whats he doing?  Cover him, finish him!

MM with his Mecca suplex!  But again does not cover.  MM with a knee to the head of Andre, as Andre goes down hard, almost knocked cold. MM locks in a boston crab on Andre but Andre with some sort of life is able to grab hold of the ropes for dear life.

JC:  Excellent awareness there by Andre.

RW:  Andre is just being manhandled on this match.  What a ppv showing for the rookie.

MM with a spinebuster, then a cradled suplex, followed by a top rope head butt.  The fans are into it as Mike feels its now over. Mike sets up Andre and hits his Blue Thunder Bomb, as he slowly covers

The ref raises Maniac Mikes arm as he celebrates his first ppv win in SFT.

RW:  A great opening match.

JC:  And a pretty good win for the newbie Maniac Mike.

Excidium vs. Kyle Murphy vs. The Great Malinko
(Triple Threat Match)

The lights suddenly flicker as the sound of wind rises through the speakers. "What do you see in the dark, when the demons come for you?" is whispered as a large figure moves out to the top of the ramp. Slowly, he stalks down to the ring as flames ignite and begin rising behind him from the steel-grated ramp. His shoulder-length black hair hangs wet over his eyes as he moves onto the apron. As he steps over the top rope, flames begin rising from the ringposts.

Amanda Summers: The following contest is a TRIPLE THREAT MATCH scheduled for ONE FALL. Now entering the ring, hailing from Parts Unknown and weighing in at 380 pounds… EXCIDIUM!

P.A.: YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

A burst of pyro explodes at the entrance as "This Fire Burns" by Killswitch Engage begins to blare across the loudspeakers. Kyle Murphy strolls confidently out onto the stage, where he gives a pump of his fist, cuing another pyrotechnic explosion. Kyle laughs before starting on down the aisle, now all business.

Amanda Summers: And now making his way to the ring, originally from RYE , NEW YORK (cheap pop) and now residing in Greenwich , Connecticut ... weighing in at 275 pounds... "The Superior One"... KYLE... MURPHY!

Kyle walks slowly and purposefully down the aisle to ringside, where he climbs the ringsteps and onto the apron. With a grin Murphy steps between the ropes and into the ring. Inside the ring Kyle goes to the corner opposite where he entered and climbs to the second rope. His face now intense once again, he gestures around his waist and then points both thumbs at himself, drawing cheers from the crowd. Finally Murphy jumps down off the ropes and prepares to fight.

The entrance clouds with smoke, fireworks flare through the visual obstruction sending sparks everywhere, and "South West Voodoo" hits as The Great Malinko makes his way through the fog to the ring.

Amanda Summers: And the final participant, from Flint , Michigan, weighing in at 270 pounds THE GREAT MALINKO!

JC: Malinko is in the ring now and we're set to go!

RW: In the words of the late, great Mills Lane, LET'S GET IT ON!

JC: Is he dead?

RW: I don't know. I know he died on Celebrity Deathmatch.

JC: Are we allowed to say "Celebrity Deathmatch?"

RW: Sure we are! That's the beauty of it! We can say whatever the fuck we want! See?!

JC: COOL! That's fucking awesome!

RW: Wow, I didn't know you had it in ya, John.

The bell sounds and Excidium starts things off by forcing The Great Malinko into a collar-and-elbow tie-up. Excidium gets the better of this, shoving Malinko down authoritatively. Angry, Malinko stands up and grabs Kyle Murphy and engages him in a lock up. But Murphy overpowers the taller Malinko, shoving him down hard in much the same way Excidium did. Murphy and Excidium both laugh at TGM as he gets back up, angry and embarrassed.

JC: Haha, that didn''t go too well for Malinko!

RW: Well what do you expect? That wasn't fair! Excidium's the biggest man in the company and Kyle Murphy is probably the strongest!

JC: Well that being said I think The Great Malinko will have to look for some other kind of offense in this one. It may be three heavyweights in there, but that means these three are equally matched in the powerhouse department. Murphy is actually the shortest man in the ring but like you mentioned he's as strong as an ox.

RW: Well at any rate, we're back to an early standoff between these three behemoths. Do you realize that's 825 pounds of massive men in that ring? Nearly half a ton!

Murphy decides he's done messing around and now goes after Malinko, aggressively grabbing him in a top wristlock and backing him into the corner. Murphy pushes Malinko's arms back so that he's pinned hard in the corner. The ref steps in and administers a four count, then asks Murphy for a break. Kyle lets go and takes a step back.

JC: There's the clean break from Murphy.

and slaps Malinko across the face.

JC: Or so I thought!

That infuriates TGM, who responds by catching the grinning Murphy off-guard by tackling him down to the mat and beginning to fire right hands to Kyle's head. Seeing an opportunity to strike, Excidium pulls the enraged Malinko off of Murphy and whips him to the ropes. TGM hits the ropes and runs right into a big boot from Excidium.

RW: Here comes The Beast!

Pulling Murphy to his feet, Excidium whips him to the ropes as well. Murphy bounces off the ropes and he too is met by Excidium's big boot. Malinko is now pulling himself in one corner as Murphy does the same in the corner opposite. Excidium charges Malinko, giving him a clothesline in the corner. He then turns around and runs at Murphy and clotheslines him in that corner.

JC: Big boots and clotheslines all around! Excidium is in total control right now!

Excidium grabs Malinko and scoops him up on his shoulder, then drops him face and chest first into the top turnbuckle with a snake eyes. Ex then turns around and walks right into a heavy right hand from Murphy as Malinko rolls out of the ring.

JC: Kyle Murphy with a huge shot to the jaw of the giant!

RW: He actually teetered the big man with that massive haymaker!

Quickly Murphy follows the punch up with a kick to the giant''s calf, hitting so hard that the smack echoes through the arena. Kyle then grabs hold of Excidium and whips him into the corner. Murphy moves quickly, going over to the corner. Grabbing the top rope, Murphy drives a shoulder into Excidium's gut. and again and a third time. Murphy then back away and Excidium walks forward out of the corner.  Again Murphy cracks Excidium in the mouth with a hard right hand, but Excidium responds by grabbing him by the back of the head and driving a thigh into Kyle's gut.

JC: Excidium fires back with a knee lift to the midsection!

Excidium fires another knee lift into Murphy's midsection, then floors him with a shortarm clothesline. Now Malinko slides back into the ring and tries to pin Murphy, but Excidium pulls him off before the referee can even get into position. TGM and Excidium look at each other as Murphy starts to stand up. Nodding to each other, they both grab hold of Murphy and, bending him forward, they begin to club him with forearms across his upper back and neck.

RW: Uh-oh! It looks as though Malinko and Excidium are going to try and take out Murphy!

Excidium looks over to the corner and gives Malinko a devious sort of grin. Malinko looks to the corner, then returns Excidium's grin. Each grabbing hold of Murphy by one side, they simultaneously throw him forward so that he runs and slams shoulder first into the steel ringpost

JC: Good God! He may have just shattered his shoulder!

RW: I think he may have pissed these two guys off!

Murphy staggers back away from the corner, clutching his right shoulder. Excidium quickly grabs him by the throat and signals for The Great Malinko to do the same. Malinko grabs Murphy as well, and they both grab Murphy by the waist of his tights. Lifting him in the air, Excidium and Malinko drive Murphy to the mat with a double chokeslam!

JC: Holy shit! That might be it for Murphy! He could be broken in half!

Excidium then pulls Murphy back to his feet and throws him between the ropes to the arena floor. Excidium steps out of the ring himself, out onto the apron. He stalks down the steps and Murphy just starts to stir after hitting the floor hard on his back. Out on the floor, Excidium grabs Murphy and rolls him onto the announce table.

RW: What the heck?!

JC: Watch out, Randy!

Excidium looks to Malinko in the ring and gestures for him to go to the top rope. TGM reluctantly complies and goes up top. As Malinko climbs to the top, Excidium pounds Murphy with a series of forearms to the chest, then looks back to Malinko. Excidium slaps his elbow three times, signaling TGM to come off with an elbow drop.

RW: Hey! We need this table! We've got a whole show to do!

JC: Oh no! Not that! Don't do it! NO!

Reluctantly Malinko jumps off the top rope, flying through the air and landing on Murphy with a diving elbow, sending both men crashing through the table!

JC: Oh my God! I don't think the table is the only thing that's broken! Look at this carnage!

RW: Yeah, Malinko might have just broken BOTH their bodies!

Excidium grabs a hold of Murphy and rolls him into the ring. Then he climbs to up the ringsteps to the apron, and steps into the ring. Looking at the fallen Malinko on the outside, Excidium goes for the pin.

1...

2...

KICK OUT!

JC: Holy shit he kicked out!

RW: How in the world?!

Now Malinko begins to crawl toward the ring and he pulls himself up at the apron, then slides back into the ring. Malinko pulls himself up as Excidium is arguing with the referee. Malinko tries to sneak in the back door by pinning Murphy, who is still on the mat. Before the referee can even react, Excidium shoves Malinko out of the way and begins to punch Murphy repeatedly in the head.

JC: Whoa! I think Excidium is just a little bit angry!

RW: Ya think?!

Excidium pulls Murphy to his feet as Malinko gets up. Seemingly not bothered by the broken pin attempt, Malinko returns to the double team of Murphy. TGM and Excidium whip Murphy to the ropes and they both bend over, looking for a tandem back body drop. Thinking fast, Murphy grabs both their heads on the return and floors them with a double DDT.

JC: Look out! There's still some life in Murphy!

RW: But that may have taken the last of it, John!

Excidium sits up right away as though nothing had happened. The Great Malinko rolls over to the ropes and pulls himself up. Ex pulls Murphy to his feet and grabs him in a front facelock. Malinko sees this and runs over to Murphy, front facelocking him on the other side.

JC: Wait a second. I think I just figured something out. It looks to me as though The Great Malinko and Excidium are trying to outdo each other.

RW: You might have a point there, John. Malinko had to get in on the action there.

Excidium and Malinko attempt to suplex Murphy, but Kyle blocks the attempt. A second attempt to suplex Murphy ends in the same result. Before they can try again, Murphy powers the two men up and pops off a short suplex!

JC: Oh my God! That's 650 pounds Murphy just suplexed! One man under each arm!

RW: You're right, John. It wasn't very high impact, but it was still an impressive show of his power.

JC: It's downright scary!

Murphy pops up, seemingly having caught his second wind. Quickly he plucks Excidium up to his feet and hooks his head, twisting his own body to turn Excidium around, then dropping down in a neckbreaker. Again Murphy gets to his feet quickly and pulls Excidium up. Murphy whips Ex to the ropes and catches him in a sleeper hold on the return.

JC: He might be able to do it here!

RW: Well if anyone can put the giant down with a sleeper hold it'd be Murphy!

Sure enough, Excidium drops to a knee and appears to be starting to fade. The ref lifts the arm up and it drops. Before he can check again, though, Malinko clubs Murphy with a forearm to the temple, breaking the hold. Excidium drops to the mat and rolls out of the ring as Malinko attacks Murphy. Kyle moves quickly, though, grabbing him in a cobra clutch. He immediately drops down and brings Malinko's back down across his knee.

JC: Oh! Nice cobra clutch backbreaker!

Murphy quickly brings The Great Malinko to his feet again and gutwrenches him. Lifting Malinko onto his shoulder, Kyle slams him down face and chest first with the SNM.

RW: The SNM Dominator!

JC: You can get your mind out of the gutter there, Randy Pervert. Kyle told me earlier that that stands for "Standard Not Met."

Before Murphy can do anything to try and take advantage, Excidium clobbers him across the back of the head with a forearm shot. Murphy stumbles to the ropes and Ex stalks after him. Excidium attempts to Irish whip Murphy to the other side of the ring, but Murphy counters and sends Ex to the ropes instead. On the return Murphy lifts him up with a double leg and slams him down to the mat with a spinebuster.

JC: How in the Hell did he do that?!

RW: He shook the whole damn ring with that spinebuster! What a display of power!

Murphy walks over to the corner and waits for Excidium. Once Ex staggers to his feet, Murphy charges him and floors him with a spear. Quickly Murphy pulls Excidium to his feet and whips him to the ropes, then runs to the ropes opposite. Ex hits the ropes and bounces off, running right into the "Kilt In Action!"

JC: A huge clothesline takes down Excidium! Murphy is actually dominating now!

To Murphy's amazement, Excidium sits up. Ex starts to get to his feet and Murphy runs to the ropes.

RW: Murphy might be looking for another clothesline here!

Murphy bounces off the ropes and charges Excidium, but Ex grabs him by the throat. He lifts him up for a chokeslam, but Murphy slips free and lands on his feet behind Excidium. Ex turns around, right into MURPHY'S LAW!

JC: Oh my! All three men are down now!

RW: Wait a second! What the Hell?!

Nirvana has jumped over the ringside barrier right next to what is left of the announce table. He makes Amanda stand up and grabs her chair. Shutting the chair, he slides into the ring with it. Excidium and Murphy are down on the mat, with Malinko still down on the floor outside the ring.

JC: What in the world is Nirvana doing here? Is he still aligned with Kyle Murphy?!

Murphy begins to get to his feet and as once he stands up, Nirvana slams the chair across his back!

RW: I guess that answers that question!

JC: But why attack him like this?!

RW: I don't get it either, but it's happening!

Murphy stumbles towards the ropes, where he spots Havoc and Jared Mayer walking down the aisle.

JC: Jesus Christ! Now what do THESE goons want?!

In the ring, Murphy turns to find Nirvana charging him with the chair cocked, ready to take his head off. But Murphy fires back, catching him with a spinebuster.

RW: Kyle's TRYING to fight back here!

Havoc and Mayer hit the ring while Murphy is still down. They begin to club him with forearms and punches as he tries to get up. Murphy continues trying to fight back, catching Havoc and then Mayer with right hands. But now Malinko is back in the ring, and Excidium is pulling himself to his feet.

JC: This isn't looking good for Murphy!

All four of them swarm Murphy now and begin to beat him down. Excidium grabs the chair and the other three hold Murphy up. Ex pulls back and slams the chair over Murphy's head, and the other three men let go of him so that he falls to the mat. Ex then slams the chair down on the mat and pulls Murphy to his feet.

JC: Good Lord! Now what's he going to do?!

Excidium brings Murphy over to where the folded steel chair is lying on the mat, then grabs him by the throat with both hands. Ex lifts Murphy up off his feet in the choke... and throws him down back first on the chair!

RW: OH MY GOD!

Excidium raises both arms over his head triumphantly as Murphy is laid out on the chair. The Great Malinko now steps up to Murphy, rolls him onto his stomach beside the chair, and locks him in the MAKE A WISH!

JC: Come on now! Enough is enough! The man's got to be knocked out already!

The referee now climbs out of the ring and goes over to Amanda Summers.
Referee: That's it, I'm using my discretion as the official referee of this match. I'm awarding this match to Kyle Murphy by DQ. Announce it.

Amanda Summers: The winner of this match as a result of a disqualification... KYLE... MURPHY!

In the ring, Malinko releases the Make A Wish. He seems furious at first, then looks down at Kyle Murphy, who is knocked out face down on the mat. That brings a smile to Malinko's face and the group in the ring celebrates, including Nirvana, who has now made it back to his feet.

Winner: Kyle Murphy
Reno Destiny* vs. The Guyver
(Hardcore Title Match)

"Won't Back Down" plays over the address sound system. The Guyver steps down the entrance ramp through the smoke. White sparkling with gold, red, and black pyro mixed as it begins to engulf the Guyver as he stands with his facing forward at the ring and his arms in a formation and his head is down.

Amanda Summers: Introducing first, the challenger... From Los Angeles, California... THE "Always Guyverrific" GUYVER!!!

He spins 180 degree to his right and drops his arms to his side. He slowly brings his head up as he glares into the camera. As his head goes completely up and levels. He breathes a stream of smoke out of his nose. He slowly and menacingly walks down to the ring. He climbs onto the turnbuckle and raises his arms in the air. He crosses the ring to the opposite turnbuckle. Then he climbs up the turnerbuckle. As he raise his fist up through out the arena as he repeats the process acknowledging the crowd chanting and cheering.

The lights go out.. The drums of "On This Day" start rolling. The crowd stands up as the music starts kicks into full force, Reno Destiny walks out calmly and looks around the arena, smirking at the fans.

Amanda Summers: And his opponent... Residing in Los Angeles, California... The SFT Television and Hardcore Champion... RENO DESTINY!

He continues to walk down to the ring looking side to side, stretching his neck. He jumps onto the apron, calmly looking at the crowd again to recieve a mixed reaction. He enters the ring and climbs to the second ropes of the nearest corner, staring out towards the sea of people flashing their cameras. Reno hops down from the ropes and hands his titles to the referee. The ref walks to the ropes and passes them outside. The ref looks back and forth between Reno and Guyver, both of them giving him a nod. The ref looks to the timekeeper and is about to call for the bell when suddenly the lights go out and the slow beginning of "Crazy Legs" by (hed) P.E. kicks in.

JC: What in the hell is this...?

RW: Be patient and maybe - just maybe - we'll find out.

JC: Jerkoff.

RW: Eat shit.

Just before the vocals of the song kick in - we hear these words over the sound system:

"You have reached the Complex of Superiority."
"Please leave a message and we'll get back to you when we give a fuck."

Suddenly, there is a very quick flash of red light. A shower of gold sparks begin to flow down at the sides of the entrance as a large cloud of red smoke appears in the entryway.

JC: Ugh.

RW: Hooray!

A Gold spotlight turns on as slowly, "The Chosen One" Shawn Walsh and Daniel "Rayn" Kalis emerge from the backstage area. They receive a mixed reaction as they pose on stage for a moment. They smirk and then strut down the ramp. Reno and The Guyver both yell things at them as they approach the ring. Walsh and Kalis laugh to themselves as they walk around the ring towards the commentators.

JC: Oh no... They're coming over here.

Walsh and Kalis approach the commentators and motion for them to get up. They refuse.

JC: What is the meaning of this?!

RW: Hey, man--

Walsh and Kalis quickly pull the headsets off of John and Randy and shove them out of their chairs. Walsh and Kalis take their seats and look on to the match. The ref stares blankly at them.

Shawn Walsh: Proceed!

Daniel Kalis: Yeah, don't let us hold you guys up!

The ref shakes his head and reluctantly calls for the bell to start the Hardcore Championship.

DK: Oh man... I have been waiting for this match all night.

SW: Really?

DK: No.

SW: I know what you mean. Why are we out here again?

DK: It was your idea.

SW: ...

Reno turns away from Walsh and Kalis and looks over to The Guyver. Guyver works quickly and sends a dropkick to the face of Reno. Destiny falls to the mat and quickly rolls to the outside under the bottom rope. Reno shakes his head and paces around the ring for a moment. He prepares to climb back into the ring but as he gets on the apron, he is kicked in the stomach by The Guyver with a baseball slide! Reno falls to the outside as the Guyver slides out of the ring. The Guyver lifts Reno to his feet and walks him over to the crowd barrier. The challenger then proceeds to slam Reno's face into it repeatedly. The Guyver gets bored quickly and throws Reno down to the ground outside. Guyver then begins to lay in the boots to the midsection of the Hardcore and Television Champion.

SW: Ooh. Dirty fighter.

DK: I'll bet I could end The Guyver's career - even at my worst. What do you think?

SW: All signs point to "yes".

Guyver lifts Reno up, just to slam his face into the crowd barrier once more. Reno just lays there, resting. Guyver walks towards Walsh and Kalis. Guyver taunts them a bit and then grabs the chair from the timekeeper.

SW: Better stay away...

DK: We're not in the mood for games, chump.

The Guyver laughs as he folds the chair up and heads back over to Reno. The Guyver looks down at Reno - who still has his upper body resting on the crowd barrier - and readies the chair. The crowd buzzes as Guyver lifts the chair up and begins swinging it down to hit Reno, but the champion acts quickly and gets out of the way. The chair collides with the barrier. The Guyver turns around, receives a kick in the gut, and is then lifted up onto the shoulders of the Hardcore Champion. Reno holds him there for a moment, then powerbombs him over the barrier and into the second row of the floor seats! The crowd cheers as Reno takes a few deep breaths.

SW: That was pretty cool.

DK: Yeah. Guyver's probably in a hell of a lot of pain now.

SW: Oh yeah.

A few security guards run over to the area and push a few people out of the way. The move the chairs that Guyver was powerbombed onto out of the way. Reno climbs over the crowd barrier and pushes past a couple of fans. He grabs Guyver by the head, lifts him up, runs a foot or two, and then tosses him over the barrier and back to the ringside area. Reno shakes his head at the challenger and then climbs back over to ringside as well. Reno lifts The Guyver to his feet, then gets behind him and slams him down with a beautiful german suplex pin!

1...

2...

No!

The Guyver barely able to kick out.

SW: Interesting...

DK: Very.

Reno rolls to his feet and picks the chair up. He stands over The Guyver, then proceeds to jab it into his stomach! The Guyver yells in pain as Reno jabs him once... twice... three more times! Reno tosses the chair down to the ground and lifts Guyver up. He drags him over to the chair. Reno Destiny then lifts the challenger up and slams him down in a brutal piledriver onto the chair! Reno quickly covers again.

1...

2...

No!

Somehow The Guyver gets a shoulder up!

DK: I didn't expect that to happen.

SW: Nope. Definitely didn't see that coming.

Reno quickly leaps to his feet, then kicks The Guyver in the side of the head! Guyver rolls onto his side, writhing in pain. Reno walks to the ring, flips the apron up, and leans over. He pulls out a wooden baseball bat and tosses it to the side. He reaches under once more and pulls out a table, then a long sledgehammer.

SW: Nice. Now I think we can be interested in this match. Can we be interested?

DK: We can be interested.

SW: We're interested.

Reno grabs the table and walks over towards the announce tables. He then sets one end of the table on Walsh's and Kalis' announce table, and the other end on the Spanish announce table.

DK: Hey, nothing better touch me.

SW: Yeah. What are you doing anyway, pal?

Reno laughs sarcastically and then walks back over towards The Guyver. He picks up the bat and takes a few steps towards the challenger. Reno holds the bat over his head and prepares to bring it down on TG as Guyver rolls onto his back. Reno begins to swing the bat, but before he can connect, The Guyver rolls out of the way. Reno swings again. Once more, The Guyver gets away. Guyver crawls backwards a bit and then gets up to his feet. Reno goes to swing the bat at Guyver one last time, but the challenger ducks. When Reno faces The Guyver again, he is kicked in the stomach and given a high impact inverted ddt! Guyver covers.

1...

2...

No!

Reno is able to get a shoulder up! The Guyver picks the Hardcore Champion up and begins walking around the ring with him. Guyver slams Reno's head into the ring post as they end up by the "special guest" commentators. Guyver picks Reno up off the ground and then slams his head into the announce table, right in front of Walsh.

SW: Hey, hey, hey... Better stay away from me unless you want a broken jaw.

The Guyver scoop slams Reno and then slaps Walsh in the face.

DK: I guess he heard you.

SW: No shit.

The Guyver picks Reno up and prepares to throw a right hand, but Reno gets a burst of energy and the two begin trading blows.

SW: Well based on what has just happened... You think now's an acceptable time to do what we came out here to do?

DK: That's a reasonable request.

Walsh and Kalis throw their headsets down on the table and walk around to the ring. They grab The Guyver - who is still trading blows with Reno - from behind and hook his arms behind his back. Reno gets a few cheap shots in as Walsh and Kalis drag The Guyver over to the table set up on the announce tables. They slam Guyver's face into the table and then roll him onto it. Walsh holds his legs down firmly as Rayn does the same to his arms. Reno slides into the ring and leaps to the top rope. The crowd buzzes as Reno flies off to the outside, landing Fallen Icon [Flipping Legdrop] on Guyver through the table! Reno covers.

3!

"On this Day" plays again as Walsh and Kalis help Reno to his feet and raise his arms into the air.

Amanda Summers: Here is your winner... And STILL SFT Hardcore Champion... RENO DESTINY!!

John and Randy run back over to the announce table and take their seats again, quickly putting on their headsets.

JC: Those cheating....

RW: Ha. You loved it. Don't lie.

JC: Argh.

Rayn, Walsh, and Reno talk to each other for a moment as Reno is handed his titles. Rayn then climbs into the ring as Walsh and Reno walk up to the apron, preparing for the upcoming match.

Winner: Reno Destiny
Rayn vs. Nathan Gust
(#1 Contendership to Intercontinental Title)

Rayn is already standing in the centre of the ring and Shawn Walsh and Reno Destiny are standing at ringside. "Adrenachrome" by Grade 8 begins to play and the lights flicker. Moments later, the youngest SFT legend of all time walks out. The lights continue to flicker as Nathan Gust runs straight to the ring and he enters without hesitation. Walsh and Destiny take a seat at the announcers table.

RW: Looks like there’s a Superiority Complex thang going on.

JC: We’ve just been joined by Reno and Shawn… Who are you guys rooting for?

Reno: Ah, honestly? Neither of them. They’re our boys. As long as someone wins, I guess that’s all that matters.

Rayn paces around the ring and as the bell rings, he moves forward to Gust, who grabs Rayn’s wrist and immediately wrenches it. Gust drags Rayn down a few times, but then Daniel Kalis flips over and gets out of the hold. Get gets back to his feet and hits Gust with a monkey toss! Gust gets up straight away and the two men quickly shake hands.

JC: Ah, it’s good to see a bit of sportsmanship…

Gust keeps a hold of the grip and hits Rayn with a shortarm clothesline! So much for sportsmanship! Gust starts nailing the boots to Rayn who ends up gripping the ankle and gets to his feet. Gust goes for the enziguri, but Rayn dodges. Gust then goes for the mule kick and misses again! Rayn grabs the other leg and hits a sit down wheelbarrow bomb! He rolls Gust over and goes for a bridge pin.

ONE!

TWO!

Gust flips Rayn out of the hold and pins his shoulders to the mat!

ONE!

TWO!

Rayn uses his legs and creates a vice around Gust’s neck! Nathan breaks the hold but Rayn keeps a hold of the vice. Gust is turning purple when he finally reaches the ropes and Rayn lets a go of the hold.

JC: Amazing techniques from both men here tonight.

Walsh: Yeah, we’re proud of them. Yadda yadda insert supportive comment here.

Destiny laughs. Meanwhile, both men are back up to their feet. Gust darts forward with the superkick, but misses. Daniel Kalis opportunistically lifts Gust up for the DVD, but Gust rolls off and goes behind. After some struggle, Rayn gets out by dropping to the mat with a jawbreaker. He then hits Gust with a belly to belly overhead that sends him crashing into the turnbuckle, causing him to land awkwardly! Rayn drags him into the centre of the ring and goes for the pin.

Destiny: OHHH, man.

Gust kicks out!

Gust kicks out with… gusto? He gets to his feet and taunts his stable mate to come at him. The veteran gives Rayn a kick to the gut, isn’t satisfied so follows it up with a knee to the gut, then rolls into an armbar! Rayn struggles out quickly but that arm was badly wrenched! Both men get to their feet and Rayn hits the vertical suplex. He then goes for the northern lights suplex, but Gust struggles and eventually hits the DDT instead! After a moment, Gust goes to lock in the armbar again, but Daniel rushes to the ropes before he can even lock it in!

RW: Aye, clever thinking from Rayn.

Both men exchange shots until Rayn lifts his lighter opponent right off the ground and then goes for the tombstone piledriver! Gust visible tries to struggle out of it, but Rayn hits the piledriver first! There’s a big commotion and the fans start cheering Gust on. The referee is at Gust’s side asking questions and just when it looks like the match is going to be called off, when Rayn looks to see what is happening, Gust springs into life with the small package!

ONE!

TWO!

THR-!

Rayn bounces to his feet with a huge grin on his feet. Gust’s grin is even bigger. Rayn points and winks at Gust as in to say ‘Ahh! You kidder you!’ He keeps that look locked on even when he steps forward and drive a huge kick into Nathan’s groin! The ref was clearing up Gust’s status so misses it! Rayn hooks Gust up for the Epiphany but Gust starts to flip Daniel overhead! He readjusts his grip then runs forward and hits the Schwein in the centre of the ring!

JC: How did he manage to do that? His testicles must be pureed!

Destiny: That boy has balls of steel.

Walsh: He’s seen them with his own two eyes.

RW: Yeah… well… I bet at least he hasn’t tasted them like you have! Heh! Hah… Urgh.

Walsh slaps Randy out of his seat.

Walsh: …We don’t TALK about that anymore, Randy!

Gust climbs to the top rope and signals for the end. He signals for the Death From Above and leaps off! Still, he lands over Rayn’s knees as he gets them up just in time! Gust springs back into the opposite turnbuckle as Rayn gets up holding his arm. He gets the crowd going then runs the length of the ring to hit a knee to the face, but Gust rolls out of the ring! Rayn falls backwards having hit his knee against steel! He takes his time getting his bearings, but Gust rolls into the ring and locks in the elevated STF!

JC: Rayn is going to tap!

Rayn does indeed look slightly desperate, but Gust just breaks the hold! And then he locks in the armbar again!

JC: He’s definitely going to tap!

But he doesn’t! He easily gets to the ropes this time and climbs to his feet with one hand. Gust meets him with a right shot. Daniel hits him back with his left! Gust spins around on the shot but then hits a big boot to the gut. He goes for the Southern Discomfort but Rayn reverses and locks in a single leg crab! He arches Gust’s leg back at a horrible angle, but the supple youngster copes. Then Daniel locks in an SFT of his own! Gust suddenly looks like he might tap, but reaching out his fingers brush the bottom rope! The referee breaks them up and they take the time for a breath.

When both men get back up to their feet, Gust starts a series of right jabs and left hooks.

RW: Have you played Wii sports yet? That boxing game is uber cool.

Gust then hits a snap suplex on Daniel, who sits up in pain! He nurtures his arm and when Gust strolls on up and goes for the Southern Discomfort again, Rayn reverses again! He lifts Gust up to his feet and whips him into the ropes. On the rebound, he shuffles forward to hit the Impact, but Gust baseball slides along the mat, kicking Daniel’s standing leg and bringing him down on his face! He lifts Rayn up and this time manages to hit the Southern Discomfort in the centre of the ring! He rolls Kalis over for the pin.

Winner: Nathan Gust
As "Adrenachrome" by Grade 8 continues to play, Walsh and Reno roll into the ring. Rayn and Gust shake off the match they just had and nod in acknowledgment of one another. Walsh and Reno pat each of their friends on the shoulders. Gust extends his hand to Rayn. Kalis looks at it for a moment and then shakes.

JC: Look at these guys... Now that's sportsmanship.

RW: Ugh..

Gust tries to pull his hand away but "Rayn" won't let go. Gust gains a puzzled look as he looks up at "Rayn". Kalis grins menacingly and then pulls Gust towards him, knocking him down to the mat with a quick snap clothesline!

JC: What the hell?!

Kalis, Walsh, and Reno then begin to lay kicks into Gust. The Crowd boos. The trio stop their attack for a moment. Reno lifts Gust to his feet. Rayn walks around, getting behind the Intercontinental Title Contender. Walsh then leaps forward, landing a vicious High Voltage [Superkick] directly on the chin of Gust! Gust bounces backwards and spins around, only to be kicked in the stomach by Rayn. The crowd boos as Kalis then lands Epiphany [Pedigree], taking Gust down to the mat. Reno runs and leaps to the top rope as Walsh and Rayn flip Gust onto his back. Reno leaps off and lands the Fallen Icon [Flipping Legdrop] right across the throat of Gust!

JC: Was this really needed?!

RW: Aaaaahahahahaha!

Shawn Walsh, Daniel "Rayn" Kalis, and Reno Destiny raise arms in the middle of the ring as "Crazy Legs" by (hed) P.E. blares over the PA system. The crowd boos loudly as Walsh turns and spits down on Gust.

"I believe in the power of mankind to evolve. It is within us all to fight, and destroy."

The voice of Jeff King lingers in the air as the arena lights go dark and the dim whirring of a machine plays over the speaker system.

"To evolve one must take the best traits from his enemies and make them his own. Sometimes this means cannibalizing one's enemies."

The lights begin to flicker dimly as pictures of I for I and Preach and Destroy flash over the Striketron.

"I have left my mark on Rayn. He is my prey, and now I have an ally. I have taken the best part of a tag team that matches Preach and Destroy. Preach and Destroy has cannibalized I for I and a new entity has been born."

Suddenly screams play over the sound system as a spotlight shines onto the center of the ring where Lucretia Black and Jeff King are standing in their black suits. King smirks as he pulls his mic to his lips and speaks once more.

"I am hunting Rayn, but I am also hunting something more valuable. I am hunting fame, as is my new tag partner..."

Tatanka by Tommy Guerrero hits the sound system and Ian Wynn emerges from the ring curtain holding a Rayn shurt! He laughs and rips the shirt in half. In his hand is a microphone which he begins to speak on. For a moment he's captured by the fan support.

"Suprising? It's funny, you wait so long to return and when you do it feels like you've never left. It's true, Jeff has his own motives. He hates Rayn because he can. I, however, am a different kind of monster. I'll help Jeff because I'm good. I know I'm good, and everyone in this arena knows I'm good. I don't care if the fans like me, and I sure as hell don't care if the wrestlers like it."

Wynn smiles and looks down at the Rayn shirt he just destroyed.

"Rookies come and go, but Legends are forever. Just don't cross me. EWA just died, and my dreams died with it. I'm a shell of a man filled with anger....and my waiting is over. I have waitied, I have watched...now I return. I may not like Nirvana there, but one thing is certain..."

Wynn spits on the Rayn shirt.

"This is legendary."

Dave Van Dam* vs. Jared Mayer
(US Title Match)

Amanda Summers: The following match is scheduled for one fall and is for the SFT United States Championship!

Staind "For You" begins to play when the lights in the arena turn blue. Jared Mayer walks out from the back. He does not stop or pause and just walks down towards the ring, showing no emotion.

Amanda Summers: Introducing first, the challenger... From Berlin, Germany... JARED MAYER!!!

Lucretia Black walks out a moment after him and follows him down to the ring. She whispers some German into his ear. She steps back and allows him to climb into the ring. Suddenly, the crowd cheers as "Changes" by Tupac blasts over the PA. Save Van Dam emerges from the backstage area with the United States Title strapped around his waist.

Amanda Summers: And his opponent... The SFT United States Champion... "The Immortal Icon" DAVE VAN DAM!!!

DVD walks down to the ring and removes the title from his waist. He drops the belt on the outside, then slides into the ring and begins to jaw at Mayer. The challenger will have none of it, though and nails DVD in the face with a right hook as the bell tolls to start the match. Mayer continues to rock DVD with rights and it backs DVD into a corner. Mayer kicks DVD in the corner, but DVD catches his leg. DVD spins Mayer's leg and Mayer falls down to the mat. DVD tries to hook a Sharpshooter, but Mayer quickly makes it to the ropes. The ref breaks the hold and DVD releases Mayer. DVD picks Mayer up and whips him into the ropes. On his return DVD powerslams him down to the mat. DVD climbs the top rope, plays to the crowd for a moment, and then comes down with a flying elbow drop. Mayer rolls out of the way and DVD lands right on his elbow.

JC: Dave Van Dam landed hard right there!

RW: Derr.

DVD is on the ground clutching his elbow, seemingly in pain. Mayer gets to his feet and puts DVD in an armbar hold. As Mayer is putting pressure on DVD's arm, DVD is trying to power out of the hold. Just as DVD has almost escaped, Mayer releases the hold and begins to kick DVD. Mayer picks DVD up and whips him into the ropes. On his return he is the victim of a brutal scissor kick! Jared Mayer goes up top and waits for DVD to get up. As DVD gets to his feet Mayer leaps of the top landing a missile drop kick on DVD!

JC: Jared Mayer is flying high in this match.

RW: Indeed.

Mayer gets up, pulling DVD up too. Mayer whips DVD into the ropes, but on his way back, DVD leapfrogs over Mayer. DVD turns around and is behind Mayer. DVD grabs Mayer around the waist and picks him up only to slam him down in a belly to back suplex. DVD now goes to the top rope and does a senton splash from the top right onto Mayer.

JC: DVD showing off a bit of his aerial skills here tonight.

The ref slides over for the pin.

2...

NO!

DVD pulls Mayer up and whips him into the corner. DVD hoists Mayer up on the top rope and climbs up there with him. DVD hooks Mayer for a tornado DDT, but Mayer grabs DVD by his waist and tosses him behind him. DVD goes flying out of the ring on onto the ground below. The challenger turns around on the top, and then leaps off! Mayer hits DVD with a beautiful splash. Mayer gets to his feet and looks underneath the ring for a foreign object to use, but DVD has somehow gotten to his feet and hammers Mayer in the back with a double axe handle. DVD lifts Mayer up and rolls him into the ring under the bottom rope. Mayer quickly gets to his feet as DVD slides in as well.

JC: Both men staring each other down…

RW: Huzzah.

JC:

The crowd cheers as DVD and Mayer lock up in the middle of the ring.

RW: You kidding me?

DVD whips Mayer into the corner but Mayer comes flying back with a clothesline for DVD. Mayer tries to follow that up with a quick elbow drop, but DVD moves. Mayer hurries back to his feet only to get a dropkick from DVD.

JC: What a great match these men are putting on!

RW: SFT is the best!

DVD tries to follow up on the kick, but Mayer slides back out of the ring. DVD doesn't let that stop him and does a suicide dive over the top rope onto the challenger. DVD gets right back to his feet and listens to the crowd’s cheers. DVD picks Mayer up and whips into the crowd barrier. DVD turns his back – playing to the crowd once more - as Mayer uses the chance by nailing his forearm into DVD's back. A couple more forearm shots send DVD to one knee. Mayer gets in front of him and readies for a ddt on the thin outside mats but DVD lifts Mayer up on one shoulder. Mayer kicks his feet in the air and struggles to put them down on top of the crowd barrier.

JC: What does Mayer have planned here?

Jared Mayer leaps from the guard barrier - DVD's head still in headlock position – and lands a tornado ddt on the champion!

RW: Even I have to say that was a great move, DVD has to be out or dead.

Mayer takes a minute to recover and bask in his glory as DVD lays out cold. Mayer finally picks DVD up and rolls him into the ring. Mayer follows and covers the champion.

2...

NO!

Mayer starts raining down temple shots on DVD, obviously angry that he wasn’t able to get the win. Mayer pulls DVD to his feet and gets him ready for another DDT. But again DVD lifts Mayer up and this time puts him on the top turnbuckle. DVD fights his way out of the headlock and climbs to the top rope to be face to face with the challenger.

JC: Where is Dave Van Dam getting this energy from?!

RW: I know. Really. How old is he?

DVD punches Mayer a few times then superplexes him off the top rope! DVD takes a few seconds to regain strength then rolls over on top of Mayer for the cover.

1…

2…

NO!

DVD rolls off and climbs to his feet. The champion starts to bring Mayer to his feet, but Mayer nails him with a low blow that was somehow undetected by the referee! DVD stumbles back into the corner as Mayer struggles to his feet. Right when Mayer gets to his feet, DVD turns and runs at him. Mayer ducks DVD's clothesline and DVD nails the ref. The ref hits his head hard on the mat and goes out cold.

JC: Oh no the ref is down and out!!

As DVD looks down at the ref Mayer nails him right in the face with the United States Title! Mayer makes a quick cover, but no ref!

JC: Where did he get the championship from!?

RW: I think Lucretia gave it to him.

JC: Bummer.

RW: Tell me about it.

Mayer climbs off DVD and tries to wake the ref. Not happening. Mayer stands, facing the entryway, not sure what to do. Finally, he kicks the referee out of the ring under the bottom rope. Mayer begins motioning towards the back for someone to come out. Finally a referee comes running down the ramp!

JC: Uh oh… This can’t be good for Dave Van Dam.

RW: I wouldn’t be so sure about that….

Before Mayer can turn back around to face DVD, the champion rolls him up in a schoolboy pin! The referee slides in the ring and begins the count as the crowd counts with him…

1…

2…

NO!

Loud sighs are heard – almost in unison – amongst the crowd. Mayer quickly gets to his feet but DVD is already up and lands a few hard rights and lefts to the challenger. Suddenly, Lucretia hops up onto the apron. DVD pauses for a moment and it’s all Mayer needs. Lucretia climbs back down as Mayer kicks DVD in the stomach then lifts him up only to slam him down with a powerbomb! Mayer doesn’t release and lifts DVD up again. He then lands a backbreaker powerbomb to the United States Champion!

JC: Massenvernichtung!

RW: …How in the fuck did you remember the name of that?

JC: Call it a gift.

RW: Right….

Mayer hooks the leg of Dave Van Dam.

”For You” by Staind plays again as Mayer climbs to his feet and is promptly handed the United States Championship by Lucretia.

Amanda Summers: And here is your winner, and NEW SFT United States Champion… JARED MAYER!!!

Mayer raises the title high, receiving a mixed reaction from the crowd.

Winner: Jared Mayer

JC: This folks, this is what we have been waiting for all week. Boss man steps in the ring again. This time he takes on Megan. The supposed mother of his child.

RW: That’s right, and if Shadow wins, he finds out weather or not he is the father for sure.

The lights lower and begin to flash purple and red. "Crazy" by Alanis Morissette begins to play and the screen flashes various videos of Megan wrestling, speaking or hanging about. Megan slowly emerges from behind the black curtain and steps out on to the stage slowly followed by Amy Jo Smyth. She stands looking over the crowd as they cheer while Amy Jo catches up. She smirks and walks down the ramp looking at the signs and fans. She reaches the ring and walks around to the ring steps. Amy Jo stays at ring side while clapping and watching. She climbs in to the ring through the ropes and walks over to the announcer. Then she charges toward the closest turnbuckle. She jumps up the turnbuckle and growls. She jumps off and awaits her opponent while pacing the ring.

Amanda Summers: And her opponent, he is known world over as the best to ever step foot in a ring, he is the owner of SFT, he is SHADOOWWW!!

“Shoots and Ladders” Plays over the PA as Shadow walks to the top of the ramp clad in a Dead Pac tee-shirt and his face painted green and white. Slowly, and cockily, Shadow walks to the ring.

JC: This is it…

The bell rings as Shadow enters the ring and Megan charges at Shadow and nails him in the gut with a huge high knee. Megan backs him against the ropes and whips him across the ring, Shadow comes back ducking a clothesline and hitting a reverse neck breaker. Shadow climbs to his feet and grabs the leg of Megan. As he attempts to turn Megan over and lock in a half crab, Megan kicks Shadow in the ass sending him into the ropes.

Megan climbs to her feet as Shadow turns around. Shadow swings at Megan but Megan blocks it and delivers a right hand of her own that connects with Shadow’s face. Megan hauls off and delivers another blow that sends Shadow into the corner. Megan climbs to the second turnbuckle and begins to unleash lefts and rights to the face of Shadow.

RW: Wow, the hatred in that ring is more than evident.

Megan climbs down off Shadow after ten shots and Shadow falls to the mat. Quickly Megan climbs to the top rope and leaps off with The Monster Mash!!! She hits it in the center of the ring!! Megan Covers…

1…

2…

NO!!!

JC: You can’t put Shadow away like that!!

Megan and Shadow both get to their feet as Megan grabs hold of Shadow’s head. She backs him into the ropes and again whips him across the ring. This time she hits a perfect dropkick and quickly bounces back to her feet. As Shadow is attempting to get to his feet Megan delivers a thunderous kick to his gut that sends him back to the mat. Megan grabs Shadow by the hair and drags him to his feet. She hooks his head as if to signify a reverse DDT but instead she hoists him into the air nailing a reverse vertical suplex!! Megan covers again…

2…

NO!!

RW: The man is old but damn he still has a lot of fight in him.

Megan gets to her feet and brings Shadow with her. As he hooks him by the waist she attempts to lift him into the air one more time but Shadow is able to avoid it. Shadow reverses the hold and drops Megan with a quick DDT. Both are down on the mat as the ref checks in on them.

JC: The old man is winded after one move!!

RW: That was a desperation move if I ever seen one.

Shadow is the first to stir back to his feet as he grabs Megan’s leg and drags her to the corner. Shadow drops an elbow on the throat of Megan and slides out of the ring. He reaches back into the ring and grabs Megan’s leg again.

JC: NO!! Shadow play nice!!!

Shadow swings Megan’s knee into the ring post as Megan screams out in pain!! Quickly he grabs her leg once more and again slams it into the post. After recovering for a few seconds on the outside, Shadow slides back into the ring. Shadow grabs Megan by the hair and drags her to her feet. Megan can barely stand as Shadow hits a perfectly placed dropkick to he left knee that sends her hurling to the mat. Again Shadow brings her to her feet, this time he places her in the corner. We can see Shadow mouthing something her but can’t make out what he is saying. Soon after, Shadow grabs her arm and whips her across the ring, with her knee damaged, she doesn’t make it far before falling face first on the mat. Shadow climbs to the send turnbuckle and leaps off delivering a forearm to her face. Shadow quickly covers…

2…

NO!!

RW: How in the hell did she kick out???

JC: Instinct my friend.

Shadow grabs Megan’s legs and locks in a Boston Crab in the center of the ring!! The ref continually checks in on her but she is not giving up.

RW: Just give in Megan. Save yourself for another day.

JC: There is no way in hell that lady is giving in to him.

RW: Can’t you tell, she’s in hell as it is!!

The ref checks in on a screaming Megan one more time and she still refuses to give in. Megan beings to push up, relieving some of the pressure from her legs and lower back. Soon after holding the push-up position, Megan is able to flip over sending Shadow into the ropes!!

JC: What the…

Megan is in pain and is not able to get back to her feet right away, thus allowing Shadow time to recover. Shadow climbs to the top rope and leaps off with a guillotine leg drop but Megan moves out of the way!!! Shadow just landed ass first on the canvas!! Megan is slowly getting to her feet, Shadow is still in pain on the mat. As Megan stands facing Shadow, he is seated in the center of the ring. Megan begins to unleash on him with thunderous kicks to the ribs and a final one to the head. Megan climbs back to the top rope and sets herself, as Shadow lay on his back, Megan leaps off with yet another Monster Bash!! Shadow moved out of the way!!!! Shadow quickly covers Megan…

3!!!

RW: It’s over!! The old man still has it!! Shadow just beat Megan!!

JC: Yeah but at what cost? Look at the man he can barely move in there. Keep in mind that he has to step in the ring with Nirvana at New Beginnings.

RW: If I know Shadow, and I do, He’ll be ready for Nirvana.

JC: Wait, we were supposed to find something out tonight!! Megan has the envelope in her hand and is running up the ramp.

Shadow calls for a mic as she gets to the top.

Shadow: Wait right there!! Megan, You failed on your end, once again. I’ll give you until Inferno next week to reveal the results, if not, you’re fired.

JC: That’s huge!! Inferno, huge announcement or else Megan loses her job!!

RW: Guys, we need to take a break before we head to the World Championship Match.

Winner: Shadow

RW: Here we go folks; this is what we’ve been waiting all night for!

JC: Not just all night Randy, people have been anticipating for at least the last few days and weeks, and you can tell that this crowd here in the Garden are just as excited as you and I are, and as excited as all of our loyal fans watching around the world are bound to be right now.

RW: Let’s take a second to consider all the ramifications involved in this one. If Shawn Walsh doesn’t walk out of Madison Square Garden tonight as the World’s Heavyweight Champion, then he will not receive another opportunity at the Title as long as Aidan Morag holds that 10lbs of gold. That’s got to be a lot of pressure on Walsh’s shoulders going into this match.

JC: True, but you also have to consider the pressure that Aidan Morag is going to be under. This is the biggest match of the night, on one of the biggest shows of the year, in the greatest arena on the planet, and he’s defending the biggest prize that this sport has to offer against the athlete that many consider as possibly the finest pure wrestler on the SFT roster today, in front of his hometown fans too. You want pressure, that’s pressure right there.

RW: Both of these great wrestlers have proven by their past accomplishments that they know how to handle pressure, and given how evenly matched they are, this one may come right down to who flat out wants it more.

JC: Walsh obviously wants to become World’s Champion again, having last held the title over 3 and a half years ago, and Aidan Morag wants to keep on the road to fulfilling his ultimate dream of becoming the longest reigning World’s Champion in SFT history, so both men have a lot to gain and a lot to lose.

RW: The stage is all set for a classic showdown to close out the year 2006 here in Strike Fantasy Towers, so let’s send it on up to our Ring Announcer, Amanda Summers, and get this show on the road.

(The lights in the arena dim, save for one spotlight shining down on the middle of the ring, under which Amanda Summers is standing, microphone in hand.)

Amanda Summers: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is your Main Event of the evening! This contest is scheduled for one fall, with no time limit, and it is for the Strike Fantasy Towers Heavyweight Championship of the World!

(The capacity crowd inside Madison Square Garden erupts at this announcement.)

Amanda Summers: Introducing first, the challenger for the Title tonight. He stands an even 6’ tall, and weighed in for tonight’s contest at 221 ¾ lbs. Hailing from ‘The City Of Angels’, Los Angeles, California, he is “The Chosen One” SHAWN WALSH!!!

(The focus in the Garden changes from Amanda Summers in the ring to the top of the entrance ramp as the unmistakeable voice of Shawn Walsh echoes over the PA System:

“I am the epitome of excellence….”

“In Shawn We Trust”

The words are followed in turn a cocky chuckle from Walsh, and then by the slow-burning opening of “Jesus Of Nazareth” by (hed) P.E. kicking in over the PA System, all to a mixed reaction from the capacity crowd crammed into the most famous arena on the planet.

In time with the beat of the song, gold strobe lights flash around the arena and on the ring itself, only to stop after a while, plunging the arena into total darkness. As the music reaches its chorus, lightning bolts strike simultaneously on both sides of the entrance stage, followed by a series of co-ordinated pyro blasts which move from each end of the stage until they converge in one giant explosion at the top of the entrance ramp, at which point the gold strobe lights from earlier on resume their flashing around the arena, and the mixed response from the crowd turns into almost unanimous cheering.

Eventually, ‘The Chosen One’ himself emerges from the locker room area, clad in his traditional wrestling attire of loose-fitting gold shorts and black boots, along with an unbuttoned gold shirt and a pair of dark glasses to complete the ensemble.

Walsh pauses at the top of the entrance ramp and poses for the fans as the gold strobe lights around the arena converge to form one solitary golden spotlight shining down on him. Walsh casts a glance back over his shoulder and we see his personal bodyguard, Tito Cruz, make his way out onto the stage, carrying with him a full-length mirror. Cruz moves to stand in front of Walsh, but with his back to the ring, so as Walsh, ever the narcissist (no, not Lex Luger), can admire himself on the way down the ramp, as Cruz has to keep looking back over his shoulder to ensure that he doesn’t trip up.

As the pair reach the bottom of the ramp, Walsh takes one last look in the mirror and then jumps up onto the ring apron. He paces back and forth along the apron a few times before climbing between the top and second ropes into the ring. Walsh crosses the ring to one of the turnbuckles and climbs to the top of it, posing for a few seconds before removing his shirt and glasses and throwing them down to the waiting Tito Cruz.

Walsh then climbs back down from the turnbuckles and starts stretching as he awaits the arrival of his opponent.)

RW: Very elaborate entrance, as always, from Shawn Walsh there, and the look on his face says to me that he has the utmost confidence in his ability to get the job done here tonight.

JC: Let’s not forget that there is one good omen for Walsh going into the match in that, since his return to SFT earlier this year, he’s already claimed the United States Heavyweight Title, and who did he beat to get it? That’s right, Aidan Morag.

RW: Somehow, I don’t think Mr. Morag is going to be in any mood to let Walsh enjoy a repeat performance here tonight, especially when we have the highest honour in this sport at stake, an honour which I’m sure Morag will do anything within his control to keep around his waist.

(The focus of the crowd shifts back to Amanda Summers, which is waiting in the centre of the ring to announce the second participant in this match.)

Amanda Summers: Now, Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s time to introduce his opponent. He fights out of the Bronx, right here in New York City, and he weighed in for tonight’s match-up at 226lbs, he is the reigning and defending Strike Fantasy Towers Heavyweight Champion of the World, AIDAN MORAG!!!

(All eyes in the crowd turn once again towards the entrance stage as the lights time and the video screen hanging above the entrance way buzzes into the life, forming the words ‘Never The Less…Always The More’ one after the other in blood-red font.

As the last of the words fades away, a pyro burst lights up the stage to coincide with the opening beats of ‘Number One’ by Nelly, prompting a huge ovation from the crowd as they await the arrival of their home city hero.

As the song builds towards its chorus, the man himself, the SFT World’s Champion, makes his way out onto the stage with the legendary 10lbs of gold gleaming around his waist, and also with his half of the SFT World Tag Team Championships sitting over his left shoulder. Aidan pauses at the top of the ramp momentarily and looks out over the screaming New York crowd before locking his gaze firmly onto Walsh as he makes his way down the aisle towards the ring. Upon reaching the ring, Aidan climbs the steps and then steps between the ropes, never once breaking his eye contact with his opponent.

The lights in the arena slowly return to normal and Aidan’s music fades away as the Champion takes the World’s Heavyweight Title belt from around his waist and raises it high in the air, along with his Tag Team Title belt before handing both pieces of gold to the referee.

The referee in turn then hands the Tag Team Title belt to the time-keeper and raises the World’s Championship high in the air before handing that out of the ring also and calling for the bell to start the action.)

RW: We’ve seen some classic SFT matches and moments right here in Madison Square Garden down the years, and this has all the potential to be right up there with the very best of them.

JC: I can’t remember the last time I experienced a crowd this pumped up for a match, and it’s a reflection of the abilities of both of the men standing in that ring.

(Walsh and Aidan are standing nose-to-nose in the middle of the ring; trash talking each other and seemingly engaging some kind of stare out. After a few seconds of this, Walsh blasts Morag with a vicious left hand right to the point of the jaw, catching Aidan just slightly off-guard and knocking him back a step or two, which gives Walsh the opportunity to follow up with further lefts and rights. For a few seconds, it seems as if the Champion is going to be completely overwhelmed by this barrage, but Walsh, in his over-eagerness to inflict as much damage as he can on Aidan is throwing shots with no real regard for accuracy, which means that Aidan is able to dodge some of the blows and fire back with some of his own. For a minute or more, the two men trade punches in a way that would put Micky Ward and Arturo Gatti to shame, with Aidan ultimately getting the better of the exchange, allowing him to Irish Whip Walsh, and then catch him with a vicious knee to the gut as he rebounds, followed by a lightning-quick DDT.)

RW: Great start to the contest, but it’s our defending Champion who seems to have claimed the first definitive advantage of this match.

JC: There’s a hell of a long way to go yet though, and we can expect to see that advantage change hands any number of times before the winner is decided.

(Aidan pulls Walsh back up by the hair, whips him face-first towards one of the turnbuckles. Walsh connects with the pad sternum first and bounces back a couple of steps, giving Aidan the chance to deliver a Reverse DDT, followed by a quick cover.)

ONE!

NO!!

(Walsh easily kicks out of the pin attempt and manages to fire off a few lefts and rights to Aidan’s gut to give him a little recovery time while climbing back to his feet.)

RW: Aidan was maybe a little bit premature in going for the cover there.

JC: Well, I guess you’re the expert on premature, so you’d know if anyone would.

RW: Shut up.

(Back in the ring, Walsh has managed to break free of Aidan’s grip, and is now backing the Champion up with some heavy shots of his own, which he follows up with a knee to the gut, and then bounces off of the ropes to deliver another to the side of Aidan Morag’s skull, sending the Champion crashing to the mat face-first. Walsh looks to make the best use he can of his newfound advantage, starting with two quick elbow drops, one to the small of Morag’s back, and then one to back of the Champion’s neck as he tires to get back to his feet. Walsh then elects to slow the pace of the match down a little by locking on a camel clutch and making a rather audacious attempt at a submission, but Morag still has more than enough about him to be able to edge towards, and finally grab hold of, the nearest rope, forcing Walsh to break the hold. Instead of backing off and waiting for the Champion to regain his feet though, Walsh knocks the wind out of the kneeling Champion with a vicious kick right to the solar plexus.)

JC: Just like I said, the advantage in this one has changed hands, and not for the last time I’m betting.

RW: Well, congrats on being right John. First time for everything and all that.

(Aidan finally manages to get back to his feet, only for Walsh to make an over-eager attempt to win the match courtesy of his ‘High Voltage’ superkick. Unfortunately for him, Morag is able to duck the blow and then send Walsh crashing to the mat with a clothesline while he’s still off balance. With the challenger flat on his back in the ring, the brawling instinct takes over Morag, and he climbs on top of Walsh and begins to pound on him with a series of full-blooded shots to the face, starting up some nasty looking swelling around Walsh’s eyes. Unfortunately for Aidan though, he makes the mistake of stopping the assault to momentarily admire his handiwork, and so allows Walsh the chance to fight back with a desperation thumb to the eye on the blindside of the referee. Aidan instinctively puts his hands up to his face and so allows Walsh the opportunity to shift his weight in such a way as to get Aidan off of him.)

JC: Nice to see Walsh showing that he’s willing to do whatever is necessary to get the win, whether within the rules or not.

RW: I guess it just shows how much winning this Title would mean to him, and you don’t have to doubt that victory tonight would mean every bit as much to Aidan Morag.

(As Aidan recovers from the poke to the eye, Walsh backs him up into a corner and then nails him with a picture-perfect Spear to the midsection. As Aidan stumbles forward, Walsh gets behind him and drives him face-first to the canvas with a bulldog, followed in turn by a lateral press.)

ONE!

TWO!!

NO!!!

(It seems as if Aidan was simply dazed rather than in any danger of actually being beaten, and the authority with which he eventually kicks out confirms this. Walsh tries to get right back on the offensive by getting behind Morag and locking on a sleeper hold as the Champion climbs back to his feet, but Morag has the presence of mind to force Walsh backwards into the nearest turnbuckle, causing the hold to be broken. Aidan then turns around and nails Walsh with a vicious chop to the chest (prompting a loud “Wooooo!” from the crowd in attendance) to which Walsh replies in kind and the two trade chops for a while, leaving both with red chests. Finally though, Aidan gets the better of the exchange, which gives him enough time to grab Walsh and slam him down to the mat with a belly-to-belly suplex. Aidan then climbs to the second rope and crashes down with an elbow straight to Walsh’s sternum, followed by a cover.)

ONE!

TWO!!

NO!!!

(Walsh rolls his shoulder off of the canvas, and then rolls out of the way just in time as Aidan seeks to continue his assault with another elbow drop, this one from a standing position. As Aidan drops to the mat, Walsh bounces off of the ropes and nails him with a running senton, then pulls the Champion to his feet and bounces off of the ropes, trying for a cross body block. Aidan, however, catches him and mid move and power slams him to the mat, following up again with a cover.)

ONE!

TWO!!

NO!!!

(Again, Walsh still has enough left to kick out, and this time we can see the frustration growing on Aidan Morag’s face as another attempt at winning the match falls short.)

RW: Aidan Morag just needs to be careful that he doesn’t let this visible frustration get in the way of his winning this match. If he’s not careful, he’s going to frustrate himself right out of the World’s Championship. He needs to get his focus back and look to wear Walsh down before trying for a cover.

(At this stage, both men are on their feet, and both seem to be waiting for the other to make the first move, which they then both do at the same time, each bouncing off of the ropes and trying for a clothesline. The simultaneous connection sends both combatants crashing to the mat.

RW: What impact there from both men!

JC: You’d have to say that whichever of these two can get back to his feet first will have a huge advantage as we move into the later stages of this contest.

(Both men are lying flat on their backs in the middle of the ring, sucking in air furiously in their individual bids to be the first to climb to their feet, although it is clear that the action we have seen so far has taken a severe toll on both participants. Finally, and with the aid of the ropes, Aidan Morag manages to haul himself up, and then climb out of the ring. He then stumbles over to the time-keeper’s table and grabs the World’s Title belt before sliding back into the ring.)

JC: What the hell is Aidan Morag thinking here? This isn’t a no-DQ match!

RW: I know that John, and so does Aidan Morag I think. He also knows the rule about titles not changing hands on a DQ, and we’ve seen in the past just what lengths he will go to in order to keep that belt around his waist. We’ve seen him getting more and more frustrated with each failed attempt at putting Walsh away.

(The referee tries to snatch the belt away from Aidan, but he simply pushes the official to the mat and then drills Walsh squarely between the eyes with the gold just as the challenger is climbing to his feet. Walsh falls back to the mat, blood now streaming down his face after the vicious belt shot as the referee calls for the bell, to intense boos from the MSG crowd.)

RW: Damn it, Aidan Morag just cheated his way to retain the World’s Heavyweight Title here, and I think the response from the MSG crowd paints a pretty clear picture of what people think of his actions, even in the man’s own hometown.

JC: Ultimately though Randy, he did exactly what was necessary to keep the biggest prize in the sport around his waist, and he’s succeeded in doing that. Whether you agree with his methods or not, you can’t argue that they’re successful.

(Aidan raises the World’s Title belt, now flecked with Shawn Walsh’s blood, high above his head as the referee motions to Amanda Summers to make the official announcement, although the boos from the crowd at the screwy finish threaten to drown her out on more than one occasion.)

Amanda Summers: Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner of this match, as a result of a disqualification, ‘The Chosen One’ SHAWN WALSH!!! However, as titles cannot change hands on a disqualification, STILL your SFT World’s Heavyweight…

(Amanda is cut off in mid-sentence not by the boos and jeers from the crowd, but by the unmistakeable opening riff of Guns N’ Roses ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, which prompts a huge ovation from the audience.)

JC: What the hell is this now? Aidan kept the damn title, whether by fair means or foul, and he should be allowed to celebrate!

RW: I get the feeling that our CEO might have other ideas on that subject.

(Sure enough, as the song reaches it’s first chorus, SFT’s Chief Executive Officer, and former 3-Time World’s Champion himself, the self-proclaimed ‘Franchise’ Christian Cage makes his way out onto the stage, clad in a black suit, black shirt and black tie, and with a microphone in his hand.)

Christian Cage: Hey, hey, cut the damn music!

(Cage’s music fades out, as per his request.)

Christian Cage: I bet you thought you were being real clever there, didn’t you Aidan? You know, getting yourself DQ’ed so that you keep a hold of the Title and so that Walsh doesn’t get another shot at it as long as you’ve got it. Well guess what kid, I’m not about to see things go down like that. You’re supposed to be the SFT World’s Champion, you’re supposed to be the standard-bearer for this Company, and it doesn’t reflect well on any of us when our Champion feels he has to cheat to win matches and keep the damn Title!

JC: Yeah, like Cage never cheated to win a match in his career.

Christian Cage: You wanna be remembered as a great Champion Aidan? Well how about you damn well fight like one, huh? As of right now, by the power vested in me as CEO of Strike Fantasy Towers, this match is restarted, and under No-Disqualification rules! Ring the damn bell!

(Cage abruptly turns on his heel and heads back towards the locker room as the bell once again sounds, signalling a re-commencement of the action as the crowd roars it’s approval of Cage’s decision.)

JC: I can’t believe this! Who the hell does Christian Cage think he is to pull a stunt like this?

RW: He’s the CEO, and I guess for once he’s decided to do the right thing.

(The pissed-off look on Aidan Morag’s face clearly shows just how he feels about what has just happened, although that quickly fades away as he moves his focus away from Cage and back to the task at hand. Knowing that it’s No-DQ rules, and knowing that Walsh is already bleeding profusely from the earlier attack, Aidan once again waits for Walsh to climb to his feet, and then once again swing the belt at his head like a batter trying for a home run. This time though, Walsh somehow has enough about him to duck the blow and nail Aidan with a desperation kick to the gut, causing the belt to fall to the mat. Walsh then DDT’s the World’s Champion, and whether by luck or by design, Aidan’s head bounces off of the World’s Title belt rather than off of the mat, leaving him busted open as well. Sensing has chance, Walsh tries for a cover that really more consists of him falling across Aidan while wiping the blood from his own eyes than anything else.)

ONE!

TWO!!

NO!!!

(Somehow, just as the referee’s hand is about an inch away from recording the 3-count Aidan finds the strength to rolls his left shoulder off of the mat, leaving Walsh frustrated at what he perceives as a slow count. As Walsh protests, Aidan hauls himself to his feet with the aid of the ropes and wipes the blood from his own eyes while waiting for Walsh to turn back towards him. As Walsh does this, he is met with a shot to the gut, followed by a front face lock as Aidan lifts him high into the air in position for his trademark brain buster.)

JC: This is it folks, and this time there’s not a damn thing that Christian Cage or anybody else can do about it!

(After holding Walsh up for what seems like an eternity, Morag drops the challenger down to the mat head first, the top of his skull bouncing off of the canvas with a vicious thud. Morag then hooks Walsh’s leg with a confident look on his face.)

ONE!

TWO!!

NO!!!

(To Aidan Morag’s amazement, Walsh manages to find the energy to kick out at the last second, and this time it’s Aidan’s turn to complain to the referee, giving Walsh a few vital seconds to try to get his brain in gear before the Champion’s next assault.)

RW: How in the hell did Shawn Walsh kick out of that one?

JC: God knows, but to look at him right now, it looks as if it took every last ounce of energy that he had to do it.

(Aidan turns back to face Walsh as the battered challenger hauls himself back to a vertical base with the help of the ropes. As Walsh stumbles towards the centre of the ring, Aidan charges at him with a clothesline, but Walsh somehow has enough about him to dodge the blow. As Morag turns around for another attempt, he gets the sole of Walsh’s boot straight on the point of his jaw as ‘The Chosen One’, seemingly running on nothing but fumes, manages to connect with his trademark ‘High Voltage’ superkick.)

RW: High Voltage! High Voltage! That came out of nowhere just when it looked like Walsh was out of this contest!

JC: Question is, does he have enough left in the tank to capitalise and make the cover?

(At first, it looks like John Cartwright’s question will be answered with a resounding ‘no’ as Walsh collapses into the ropes, blood streaming down his face from Morag’s earlier attack with the belt, but the thought of possible victory being so close seems to spur him on, and he wipes the blood away before starting to crawl, agonizingly slowly, towards the prone Champion in the centre of the ring, finally managing to get just one arm across Aidan’s chest.)

ONE!

TWO!!

JC: Kick out damn you, kick out!

THREE!!!

RW: It’s over! It’s over! Shawn Walsh is the new SFT Heavyweight Champion of the World!

(The referee raises Walsh’s limp arm, but it seems clear that the new Champion doesn’t seem to have grasped the full extent of what he’s just achieved. After a few seconds, it seems to hit him as he moves to his knees and raises his arms in the air to the delight of the MSG crowd. From off-camera, we see Walsh’s “Superiority Complex” associates, Rayn and Reno Destiny, slide into the ring to celebrate with the new Champion. They help Walsh to his feet as the referee picks up the World’s Title belt from the mat and straps it around Walsh’s waist. Walsh looks down at his hard-earned prize as Reno and Rayn lift the new Champion onto their shoulders.)

RW: What a match these guys have put on tonight, and what a way to close out 2006 here in Strike Fantasy Towers. We’ve seen the biggest prize in our sport change hands here, but you can bet dollars to doughnuts that we haven’t seen or heard the last of this feud.

JC: You can also bet that when Aidan Morag recovers, he’s going to look to get that belt back at the earliest possible opportunity, and maybe even get some revenge on the man who screwed him out of it!

RW: No-one screwed Aidan Morag except himself, and ultimately, we had a decisive finish, and we have a deserving new Champion. Let’s get the official word from Amanda Summers.

Amanda Summers: Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner of the match…and NEW Strike Fantasy Towers Heavyweight Champion of the World, ‘The Chosen One’ SHAWN WALSH!!!

(As Reno and Rayn carry the new World’s Champion around the ring, tickertape begins to descend from the roof of Madison Square Garden to kick-start what is sure to be a long night of celebration for the new World’s Heavyweight Champion.)

RW: Well folks, that’s all for this show, and for this year here in Strike Fantasy Towers. Make sure to tune in on Tuesday for the start of what is sure to be another roller coaster year here in SFT with another edition of Tuesday Night Titans.

JC: Before that though, have yourself a great New Year’s Eve, and we look forward to being with you all again into 2007 and beyond.

RW: Goodnight folks…

Winner: Shawn Walsh
Closing

As Shawn, Reno, and Rayn make thier way up the ramp, Shawn grabs a microphone from stage crew. All three men stop at the top of the ramp as Shawn prepares to speak.

Shawn Walsh: You're fucking pathetic Aidan. Pathetic. You know something. I have been doing this shit way to long and I finally have gotten what I deserve. The past few weeks, if not months, I have focused on many other things other than my matches. Things are going to change from here on out. That means that as far as Ownership is concerned, Shadow, you can have that shit. I want no part of it anymore. My number one concern is me myself and this championship. Fuck the rest of you.

Shawn drops the mic as Superiority Complex exits the stage area and the show faeds to black.
