JC: Our first match pits to vets in a one off match. Lets get to it.

Match Number One
Hardcore Hect vs. Christian Cage
( Standard Match )

Amanda Summers: The following match is scheduled for one fall, and is for a SFT Hardcore Championship! Introducing first... from Parts Unknown... weighing in at 228 pounds... Hardcore Hect!

As the sound of thunder booms in the arena, the lights go out. After a while an eerie black light gets cast on the stage, as smoke begins to come out. As the sound of rain and thunder fade and "Battle without Honor or Humanity" begins, Hect walks out onto the stage, an open black coat that seems torn on the sleeves and at the hem. He stands on the stage, looking out to the crowd. Hect then walks down the aisle, as the arena goes blood red in light. Hect runs the last few steps and slides in under the bottom rope, and sits in the corner, waiting for his opponent.

Amanda Summers: and his opponent... from Miami, Florida... weighing in at 254 lbs... he is the Strike Fantasy Towers Vice President... Christian Cage!

The arena is plunged into darkness, but a with a gold spotlight shining down on the stage directly in front of the video wall. The opening notes of "King Of My World" by Saliva echo over the arena's PA system, and as the song reaches it's first chorus, Christian Cage walks out and stands underneath the spotlight, with his back to the ring and to a deafening negative reaction (interspersed with "asshole" chants from the crowd). Cage stretches his arms out to his sides, level with his shoulders, so as to assume a crucifix position, and as he does so, it triggers a series of pyrotechnic explosions on either side of him. As the smoke from the pyro dies away, Cage turns to face the ring and begins a slow, purposeful strut down the aisle. When he reaches the ring, Cage slides underneath the bottom rope and proceeds to climb to the top of each of the four turnbuckles in succession, assuming the crucifix position again at the top of each. After climbing down from the last turnbuckle, Cage goes back to his corner and slowly removes his designer sunglasses, staring straight into the eyes of his opponent. Cage then removes the chain around his neck, and finally his black t-shirt, revealing his toned, muscular upper body. The bell rings, and both wrestlers lock up. Cage overpowers Hect and gets behind her to put Hect into a german suplex.

JC: Ouch, that has to hurt.

Cage picks Hect back up and tosses her into the corner. Cage runs over at Hect, but Hect lifts her right boot up and boots Cage to the mat. Hect climbs the top ropes and jumps to land a frogsplash upon Christian Cage.

2..

KICKOUT!

RW:: Oh, very close.

Hect gets up, along with Christian by the hair. Hect attempts to put Cage into a snap suplex, but Christian Cage blocks it and puts Hect into a suplex instead. Christian Cage grabs the hair of Hect and lifts her up to her feet. He then kicks Hect in the gut and quickly puts her into a Double arm DDT. Christian Cage covers Hect.

1.

2..

KICKOUT!

Hect rolls away from Cage, as he has a few words with the ref and his slow count. Hect gets behind Cage and low blows him.

JC: OUCH!

The ref doesn't see it, as he wonders why Cage suddenly stops talking to him. Christian Cage holds his nuts, as Hect gets to her feet and puts Christian Cage into a backbreaker. She keeps Cage on her knee and pushes Cage's face and legs back on her knee. This causes Cage's back to bend and almost snap on her right knee. After awhile, Hect pushes Christian Cage off her knee and to the mat. Hect starts to kick the back of Christian Cage.

RW:: Hect really working Christian Cage's back.

Hect picks Christian Cage up and tosses him into the ropes. Cage comes back and stops infront of Hect, while Hect kneels to flip Cage over her. However, Cage just kicks Hect in the side of the head. Hect flops down to the mat, while Christian Cage holds his back and rests alittle. Christian Cage picks Hect up and attempts to put her into a 3/4 neckbreaker, but Hect blocks it and puts Christian Cage into a German Suplex.

JC: Hect could pull away with the win here!

Hect covers Cage.

1.

2..

KICKOUT!

Hect gets angry and picks Cage up to his feet. Cage bursts with energy, and shoves Hect, who falls into the referee, which knocks him loopy, but the ref is still on his feet. Hect steps foreward and Cage tries to clotsheline him, but Hect ducks and Christian knocks out the referee!

JC: and down goes the referee!

Hect goes from behind Cage and grabs his hair, he falls back and puts up his knees and hits a 'lung buster'. He then goes for the pin.

JC: Lung buster!

RW: But the ref is out, he can't make the pin!

JC: What's this?

RW: Thats the Hardcore Champion, Connor MacDaddy!

Hect gets to his feet and see MacDaddy running down the ramp with a chair. Connor slides into the ring, and Hect drags Cage to his feet. Hect holds Christian's arms behind his back, and Connor swings the chair, but Cage ducks and Connor hits Hect with the chair!

JC: Connor tried to help his buddy, Hect! But he ended up hitting him with a chair!

Hect goes down, and Connor gets a look of panic. Christian Cage then superkicks the chair into MacDaddy's face, and gets on top of Hect for a pin. The referee then wakes up barely, and makes a slow pin.

JC: It's over. Christian Cage wins!

Winner: Christian Cage

Match Number Two
Richie Jones vs. Arsan Ayars
( TV Title Match )

Both men are in the ring as the bell rings. Arsan starts it off with a clothesline then a sunset flip, but Richie is quick as well and counters into a rollup but Arsan kicks out. Arsan runs at Richie only to get met by a superkick as Arsan falls flat on his back. Rickie covers 1,2,3!

RW: Wow that was fast.

JC: New TV Champ is Richie Jones

Winner: Richie Jones

RW: Got no clue where this Richie Jones came from, but looks like hes for real.

Match Number Three
Cheeky Joe vs. Connor MacDaddy
( Hardcore Title Match )

JC: Welcome back from commercials, fans, we're here ready to bring you Connor MacDaddy versus Cheeky Joe for the Hardcore Title!

[Cheeky Joe is already in the ring, awaiting the champ. Abruptly, "Mack Daddy" by Sir Mix-a-lot blares over the PA system as large red X pyros fires off. A few seconds into the song Connor steps out onto the stage and makes an X with his arm in the air. He starts to walk down the ramp. Mid ramp he slows down and points to a few fans and gives them a big thumbs up. He slides in the ring and goes on the turnbuckle and makes X crosses in the air to the crowd.]

RW: And while MacDaddy is playing to the crowd, the ref is asking him to remove his title so that the match can get underway...

[Cheeky Joe, anxious and tired of waiting, rushes Connor, and yanks him down so that Connor's family jewels are introduced to the metal turnbuckle.]

JC: Oh SNAP!

[The champ is dazed and slides off the turnbuckle down to the mat. The ref calls for the start bell, and it sounds as Joe picks Connor up by his ears, easily ties the sore man up and tosses him into the opposite ropes.]

RW: What's Connor doing to his belt?

[By the time MacDaddy hits the ropes, he's got his title belt undone and clenched in his hands. Upon his return, he introduces Joe's forehead to the gold, taking down the challenger in a heap.]

JC: I bet Joe wished he had been more patient now...

RW: And I know he's wishing hardcore matches weren't “No DQ”.

[Connor is taunting the downed Joe, while the crowd starts chanting “MAAAACK! MAAAAAAACK!” He pulls Joe up to his feet and begins issuing the underdog a few lefts and rights, Joe backpeddaling all the while.]

RW: I wonder why Joe isn't making fun of some song yet...

JC: Hahahahh!

[Connor shoves Joe, and leaves a red print on his face as his haymaker right hook connects, sweat flying into the crowd as Joe's body slams into the mat. Connor, taking the advantage, jumps over Joe and runs to the turnbuckle. He climbs up, signals to the crowd and leaps, preparing to crush Joe's head with a vicious elbow drop.]

JC: Man, this is gonna hurt...

[Joe escapes! He rolls aside, letting Connor's daring move land him in a very painful position, indeed- on his face.]

JC: ...Connor that is!

[Connor is rolling on the ground, holding his elbow as the crowd gives a disappointed, collective side. Joe takes the time to recover, get to his feet and tell the crowd to suck something that sounds like “my bock!” He walks over to Connor, still nursing his elbow, and plants a big boot into the back of the champ's head.]

[He picks Connor up, ties him in a grapple and wins easily. He lifts the bigger man up and over, the ring shaking from the suplex. Joe covers.]

1...

JC: And an easy break there from Connor, kicking out no problemo.

RW: Shuddap, Ahnold.

[Connor is up and looking pissed. Joe, taking his chances, runs away and slides under the ropes to the mat outside. He reaches under the ring and pulls out a metal folding chair, but in doing so- took his eyes off Connor. Joe looks up, and Connor jumps through the ropes- feet first, colliding with the chair, sending it straight into Joe's nose, snapping it surely, sending blood on a few unlucky (lucky?) fans.]

RW: Hot damn, I love me some hardcore matches!

[Connor is up, and he brings Joe to his feet. He whips the younger contender into the metal barriacade, the fans sending a roar of approval. Joe lays in a heap at Connor's feet, who covers.]

JC: Run, ref, get over there!

[Connor is holding Joe down, screaming for the ref to start the count.]

1... ... 2... ...

JC: Joe got out of it! The ref took too long!

[Rather than get in the ref's face, the veteran shows poise. He ties up with Joe, and sets up his finisher.]

RW: Connor MacDaddy just landed the Big Mac, it's all over!

[Connor covers.]

1... ... 2... ... 3!!

JC: In a bloody match, Connor MacDaddy retains the belt!

Winner: Connor MacDaddy

[Connor is handed the title, and he makes his way back up the ramp to the backstage area when the arena lights dim, and ominous music plays over the PA. He looks up, and he sees a shrouded figure. MacDaddy yells something unintelligible as the lights cut completely out. When the lights come back on, Louis Cypher is standing over the Hardcore Champ.]

RW: Well, this is unsettling.

[The scene fades to black as Cypher stares at the lump that is Connor MacDaddy, out cold.]

Match Number Four
Precious vs. Johnny Legend
( US Title match )

RW: Well not things are really going to hot up John. Damn I've been looking forward to this match.

JC: Yes, it's US title time folks, and as Randy says this is looking to be a cracker of a match.

"Creep" by Radiohead slowly fades in - a voice comes on and says, "Bow Down Blockheads!"

BAM! BAM! BAM!

Fireworks go off ontop of the ramp. "Creep" by Radiohead really kicks in, as the mist slowly fades away from the fireworks. Suddenly, Johnny Legend walks through the mist. Sporting flashy purple tights and jacket, as he stands on top of the ramp.

"Coming down to the ring at this time, (Legend walks down the ramp) weighing in at 200 pounds, hailing from Fire Island, New York... JOHNNY LEGEND!" Amanda Summers says into the mic.

Johnny Legend slowly walks up the steps, and gives a few words to the fans... Some unkind words. He then gets into the ring and steps into the middle... Fireworks burst to the sides of the ring - Legend turns slowly around in a full circle and shows his winning smile. The mist clears after a few seconds, and Johnny Legend takes his jacket off and tosses it to the ringside staff. Legend then awaits his opponent, while he rests his back in a corner of the ring.

JC: Well the challenges here, an he looks in good shape Randy.

RW: Damn I love SFT..

"As im good at being badd" plays precious comes out with Sweetheart and Harold and she goes to the ring and she puts on leg on the ring then the other doing the splits and then slides under the tope rope as Sweetheart slowly gets in the ring and Harold watches Precious from behind..

RW: Oh I love this girls John. She's cute..

JC: You love everyone...

RW: Yeah, I'm a nice guy like that..

Both wrestlers meet in the middle of the ring, and each one gives each other a long stare face to face.

JC: To say these guys are focused would be an understatement.

Suddenly, Precious lashes out and hits Legend with a hard right hand, and the ref signals for the bell and the match gets underway.

Precious continues to hit away at Legend with hard right hands, but then Legend suddenly ducks and goes round the back of Precious and gives her a kick sending her to the floor. He looks around and the audiences and smiles, but Precious is already back on her feet and standing up top Legend. Both go into a chock hold, and this time Precious shrugs off Legend and throws him into the ring rope, on his return she goes for a flying clothesline which connects perfectly sending Legend down to the mat. Precious now begins to stomp away with both feet.

RW: Got to love those legs John.

JC: What when your being stomped on? What's the matter with you man.

Legend is in pain, and rolls out of the ring, but Precious is having none of it. She climbs out of the ring herself and continues to stomp away on Legend. The ref follows her but she is having none of it. She brings Legend to his feet, and goes for a belly to back suplex which she gets, and again sends Legend down to the floor, this time crashing down hard on his back. Before he has even had time to suffer, she has picked him back up again, and this time goes to swing him into the ring steps, however at the last minute Legend reverses it, and it's Precious that goes flying head first into the ring steps, making them crash on her as she falls to the ground..

JC: Get show there from Legend, I thought he was gone with all the punishment he was taking.

Legend is the first to his feat, and he goes to pick up Precious. He drags her by the hair into the ring and goes for the quick cover..

1... 2.... Kick Out...

RW: Nice try Legend, but it's going to take more than that..

Legend picks up Precious and throws her into the ropes, but Precious with all of her might throws herself from the rope, using it as a launch pad and hits Legend with a flying elbow right when he least expects it. Precious hauls herself back to her feat and does the same with Legend, Precious quickly performs a perfect DDT, and goes for the cover..

1... 2... Kick Out...

JC: Close, but not good enough.

RW: This is a great match John...

Legend is still laying there on the mat, and Precious looks furious with the ref. she stand up and throws herself into the ring tope, and attempts to perform a leg drop on her return. However as she is in mid air, Legend rolls away and quickly jumps bak to his feat while Precious comes crashing down on her ass.

RW: Haha. We have a female Hogan, but it didn't quite work out..

Legend picks her up quickly and performs a DDT of his own, which comes of perfectly. Now he goes over to the corner and climbs up to the top rope, stopping at the top to look around. He then launches himself of the top rope and connect with a starburst splash and goes for the quick cover...

1.... 2.... 3...

The ref calls for the bell...

RW: That's it, we have a new US Champion.

Winner: Johnny Legend

JC: Yes, and yo have to hadn it to both wrestlers, what a close match it was...

First Main Event
Nirvana vs. The Great Malinko
( World Title match )

RW: This is it John, this is what every single fan in this magnificent arena tonight has been waiting for, the climax of our show as the three top superstars in Strike Fantasy Towers battle it out for the biggest prize this sport has to offer in the shape of the Strike Fantasy Towers World Heavyweight Championship.

JC: This has all the makings of a potential Match Of The Year candidate, and it’s only January. When you consider that just 9 days ago, Malinko and Nirvana battled to an epic draw, that would be enough to set the stage for a huge encounter, but when you then add a former 4-Time World Heavyweight Champion, in the form of Havoc, into the mix, this is all set to be something truly special here at New Beginnings.

RW: Without further ado, let’s send it up to our Ring Announcer, Jonathan Knight, and get this war underway.

(The camera pans across to the centre of the ring, where we see Jonathan Knight standing, smartly attired in a black tuxedo and with a microphone in his left hand as the lights dim except for one spotlight shining down on him.)

Jonathan Knight: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall under Triple Threat rules, and is for the Strike Fantasy Towers World Heavyweight Championship!! In this match, the first man to score a pinfall or a submission will leave tonight as the SFT World Heavyweight Champion.

Introducing first, standing 6’2’’ tall, weighing in tonight at 237lbs and hailing from The City Of Dis, he is a former 4-Time SFT Heavyweight Champion of the World, HAVOC!!!

(The arena is plunged into total darkness as the opening notes of “Bullet-Proof Skin” by Institute blast over the PA System. The only source of light in the arena is from the StrikeTron at the top of the entrance ramp, on which we can se the words “Carnal”, “Fatal” and “Immortal” appear and fade away in turn. Smoke begins to cloud the entrance stage, illuminated by spotlights embedded in the stage itself and the main arena lights slowly come back on as Havoc emerges through the smoke to a huge ovation from the capacity crowd.)

(After pausing for a second, Havoc makes his way slowly down the ramp, pausing periodically to look out across the crowd at the wide array of signs bearing his name. Upon reaching the ring, he slides underneath the bottom rope and climbs the nearest turnbuckle, pausing at the top to raise his arm high in the air, a move greeted by another huge ovation. Havoc then jumps down from the turnbuckle and heads across to the opposite corner to await the arrival of his opponents.)

Jonathan Knight: Now introducing the 2nd participant, hailing from Osaka, Japan, he stands 6’4’’ and weighs in at 236lbs, he is a former SFT World Heavyweight Champion, NIRVANA!!!

“He’s gonna get you…”

He’s gonna kill you…”

“He’s gonna make you pay…”

“Hurt” by Johnny Cash begins to play over the PA System as the StrikeTron is filled with images of tombstones while Jeff King’s voice booms over top of the music. The lights in the arena dim as the StrikeTron changes to show pictures of a morgue, all to a very mixed reaction from the crowd in attendance. The images on the screen become ever more horrific, showing human bodies ripped to pieces, and others rotting away, covered in maggots. The reaction from the crowd becomes more negative as each image is shown, building to a crescendo of boos as the pictures fade away and bright golden light shines down on the entrance stage.

“Run from the Lord of SFT, it’ll do you good”

The lights in the arena simultaneously change to a deep and eerie green as Jeff King and Ms. Black step out into the arena. King is wearing an old-fashioned suit, his mostly grey hair parted to the side and greased into place. We can see that he has a tight grip on Ms. Black’s hand as he smiles to the crowd with a combination of a salesman’s pizzazz and a shark’s killer instinct in equal measures.

Once again, the StrikeTron begins to flash with images, this time showing such things as a traditional family eating a meal around a dinner table, then the same family watching TV together while the kids enjoy their toys, although none of the people in the images seem to be happy in any way, all of their eyes are dull, and they all appear generally sullen and devoid of life. King makes his way towards the ring, spinning his cane and doffing his hat to the fans, all of which is greeted with ever-louder booing. Once he has climbed into the ring, he slowly removes his suit a piece at a time before climbing the far turnbuckles and taunting the fans with his cane before depositing outside the ring and sharing a passionate kiss with Ms. Black.

After the kiss, Ms. Black leaves the ring as the music slowly fades away, leaving Jeff to focus on the match. Before it can start however, King lifts his hands to the sides of his face and begins to tear at his skin with his fingernails until he draws blood. King then licks the blood from his hands in one last act of sin as he, along with Havoc, awaits the arrival of the 3rd and final piece of this puzzle.

Jonathan Knight: Introducing now, the 3rd and final participant in this match. Haling from Flint, Michigan, he stands 6’7’’ tall and weighs in at 270lbs. He comes to the ring tonight as the reigning and defending Strike Fantasy Towers Heavyweight Champion Of The Woooorrrlllddd, THE GREAT MALINKO!!!

(ICP’s “South West Voodoo” blasts over the PA System as the fans rise to their feet in unison to try to lift the roof from the arena through their boos for the World Champion. A breathtaking pyro blast lights the entrance way and as the smoke clears, Malinko makes his way out onto the stage to yet louder boos and jeers from the crowd, the SFT Championship belt gleaming around his waist)

(As he makes his away down the ramp, Malinko holds a look of icy determination on his face, never for a moment glancing away from the ring. When he reaches it, he makes his way slowly and deliberately up the steps and between the top and middle ropes. Once in the ring, Malinko removes the title belt from his waist and hands it to the referee, who in turn raises it high in the air before calling for the opening bell.)

JC: This is it Randy, this is what we’ve waited for. The chance to see the top three men in the sport today collide with one aim: the SFT World Heavyweight Title. All three want it, but only one can walk out of here tonight with it in their possession, and the first man to score a pinfall or submission will do just that.

RW: That of course does bring up one valid point about this match, and that’s that Malinko doesn’t even have to be involved in the decision to lose the title. If Havoc were to pin Nirvana, or vice versa, then we would have a brand new World Champion without Malinko even being pinned.

JC: Somehow though, I don’t think that Malinko will allow that to happen as long as he has strength in his body.

RW: You could say that about all three of the men in the ring, but sooner or later, 2 of them are still gonna end up very disappointed, to say the least.

(All three men look very tentative as they consider their opening moves, but finally it’s Havoc who chooses to break the deadlock by charging across the ring, straight at Malinko and wobbling the big man with a fierce clothesline which knocks him back a step or two. Nirvana then decides that the time is right for him to make his move, and he opts to join Havoc in an assault on the World Champion in the corner.)

JC: We’re seeing the first temporary alliance of the night here, now let’s see how long it can last.

RW: Somehow, I doubt it’s gonna be very long. Greed is a powerful emotion, especially where the SFT Title is concerned.

(As if they heard Randy White’s words, Nirvana and Havoc’s alliance dissolves in the blinking of an eye as Havoc tries to throw another shot at Malinko, but Nirvana gets his own shot in first, prompting Havoc to shove his so-called “ally” in the chest, a move greeted by a swift kick to the back of Havoc’s knee, then another around the side of his head as he drops to the mat.)

JC: A perfect example right there of why you should never trust another man in this situation.

(Havoc and Nirvana’s little “disagreement” has allowed Malinko a little time to recuperate, and he uses this to his advantage by leg dropping Havoc across the back of his neck. Malinko then turns to face Nirvana and within a split second, fists and feet are flying on both sides as the two brawl furiously. Eventually, Nirvana gets the better of the exchange and forces Malinko to roll out of the ring to seek a rest, at which point Havoc sneaks up behind the “Lord Of SFT” and pulls him down with a quick inside cradle.)

ONE!

TWO!!

NO!

(Seeing the events unfolding in the ring, Malinko slides back under the bottom rope and breaks up the cradle at the count of two. Grabbing Havoc by the back of the neck, Malinko then whips him into the ropes, and as he bounces back off, he is caught with a double back body drop from Malinko and Nirvana, in a sudden and spontaneous show of teamwork.)

JC: Now we see Malinko and Nirvana working together, but don’t bet on it lasting any longer than Nirvana and Havoc did.

(For now though, it seems that Malinko and Nirvana really are on the same page, as they combine to drag Havoc to his and then position him so that Nirvana can land a crescent kick to the back of his head, dropping him to the floor again. Once again, they lift him to his feet, this time trying for a double clothesline, but this time Havoc manages to duck the blow and get enough space to try a clothesline of his own, which connects on Nirvana, but which Malinko manages to dodge before shooting out his arm, gripping Havoc by the throat and driving him into the with a chokeslam, followed by a quick cover.)

ONE!

NO!

(Despite the effects of the clothesline, Nirvana still has enough wits about him to break up the cover, prompting a vicious open-hand slap to the face from Malinko from his troubles.)

RW: Something tells me that’s the end of that little alliance.

JC: Like I said earlier, these things never work out for any length of time.

(Suddenly, it’s Havoc and Malinko on the same page, as they team to floor Nirvana with a double DDT. Havoc then pulls Nirvana to his feet, whips him into the ropes and then attempts to charge at him with a clothesline, but at the last second, Malinko pulls Nirvana out of the way and sends Havoc flying over the top rope to the floor, where he lands awkwardly on his left knee and looks to be in a considerable amount of pain. Back in the ring, Nirvana has repaid Malinko’s favour in helping him out by decking the World Champion with a side kick right under the jaw and going for a quick cover)

ONE!

TWO!

THR…NO!

(At the last second, Malinko finds the strength to power out of the pinning predicament, as we see from EMT’s heading down the ramp towards where Havoc is still clutching his injured knee.)

RW: I think that spill was worse than we at first thought, it may well have ended Havoc’s chances of walking out of here as the new World Champion.

(The EMT’s help Havoc slowly to his feet and support him as they head back up the ramp to a huge ovation from the crowd.)

JC: And then there were two…

(Even though Malinko managed to kick out of the cover, he’s still dazed from the kick, and this allows Nirvana to climb to the top as Malinko stumbles to his feet, and then leap off with a Missile Dropkick while the Champion is still groggy.)

RW: This could be a huge chance for Nirvana. With Havoc gone and Malinko all over the place, you’d have to say that this is his big opportunity to leave as the Champion, and he’d better take advantage, because Malinko doesn’t usually give people a second chance.

JC: That’s why he’s the Champ.

(Nirvana doesn’t connect quite flush with the Missile Dropkick, and lands slightly awkwardly; giving Malinko just the split second he needs to level out the playing field. As Nirvana climbs to his feet, he is met with a vicious head butt from the World Champion, followed by a low blow on the referee’s blind side that drops him to his knees again. Malinko then backs up a couple of steps and runs at Nirvana, driving his knee straight into the challenger’s head.)

RW: Looks like Malinko is really taking over here, just goes to prove once again that the momentum in these matches can change in a heartbeat.

(As Nirvana is down, Malinko grabs his legs and attempts to lock in a Sharpshooter, but Nirvana still has enough strength to struggle against the move enough so that when Malinko does manage to lock it in to any degree, Nirvana is within easy arm’s reach of the ropes, which he grabs, prompting the referee to call for a break. Surprisingly, Malinko breaks the hold immediately on command, but cannot resist aiming a quick soccer kick straight into Nirvana’s ribs before the referee pulls him away.)

RW: I knew that a totally clean break was too much to ask for.

JC: You’re telling me that Nirvana wouldn’t have done the exact same thing, given half a chance?

(Malinko waits for Nirvana to climb to his feet, still clutching his chest from the impact of the soccer kick, and then proceeds to add injury to, well, injury by blasting his winded challenger with a shot to the gut, followed by a quick DDT.)

RW: Malinko’s looking pretty good right now. Ever since Havoc got taken out, he’s been pretty much on top all the way.

JC: He needs to make sure he stays focused though, when you’re in there with such a tough opponent as Nirvana, you can’t afford to take our foot off of the gas for even a split second.

(This time, Malinko doesn’t wait for Nirvana to climb up of his own accord, preferring instead to drag him to his feet by his hair. Malinko whips Nirvana into the ropes, then catches him coming off with a big boot straight to the face, which he follows up by dragging Nirvana to his feet and throwing him forcefully into the nearest turnbuckle before peppering him with a series of right hands. The referee moves to pull Malinko off of his rival, but inadvertently gets caught with a stray flying arm and dropped to the mat.)

JC: I think Malinko just knocked the referee out cold as he was trying to separate the two men.

RW: We need another official out here pretty quick.

(Malinko, seeming unperturbed by the fate of the referee, lands another few shots on the near-defenceless Nirvana before backing off to consider his next move. Suddenly, from out of nowhere, Jared Mayer sprints into the ring and catches the World Champion completely off-guard with a vicious running lariat which nearly decapitates him.)

RW: What in the damn hell was that?!! Where did Jared Mayer come from and what the hell is he doing here?

JC: I’m not sure what the heck he’s doing here, or where he came from, but what I do know is that he may very well have just decided the outcome of this World Title match.

RW: Don’t write Malinko off that easily, we’ve seen him come back from situations this bad before, and you don’t get to be the World Champion without a fair amount of resilience.

(Mayer casts a fleeting glance down at the fallen Malinko before meeting Nirvana’s eyes for a second with a piercing stare. The big German then turns and climbs over the top rope before heading to the back without even so much as another glance towards the ring.)

RW: I’m not sure that even Nirvana quite understands what that was all about.

(With both the referee and his opponent currently out of commission, Nirvana has time to recover from Malinko’s assault and consider his own next move. Looking down at Malinko, it’s clear to see that is Nirvana is to win the title tonight, then this is his best chance to do it. Nirvana drags Malinko closer to one of the four turnbuckles before climbing it himself and launching backwards off of it with his “Sweet Rapture” moonsault.)

JC: Nirvana hits the Sweet Rapture! This is gonna be over!

RW: Question is, is this referee gonna be able to make the count here?

(Nirvana hooks the far leg for the cover just as the referee slowly begins to come to. He crawls over to where the cover is and begins to count.)

ONE…

TWO…

THREE!

RW: He did it! Nirvana is once again the World Heavyweight Champion!

JC: What a main event! You can’t say that Nirvana didn’t earn that one.

RW: True, but you also have to question how much of an impact Jared Mayer’s contribution had on the end result.

JC: True, but Nirvana put a hell of a lot into this, and he’s gotten his just reward.

RW: What about Malinko though? I wouldn’t really want to be in either Mayer or Nirvana’s shoes when he gets over this.

JC: After what we saw though, it could be a while before we see either Havoc or Malinko back in SFT.

(With the aid of the ropes, the referee drags himself to his feet and takes the World Title belt from the timekeeper before handing it to the new Champion. The arena is plunged once again into total darkness with one solitary green spotlight shining down on the centre of the ring, under which Nirvana poses with his hard-earned prize.)

Winner, and NEW Strike Fantasy Towers World Heavyweight Champion: Nirvana

RW: Well, that’s all we have for you tonight, It’s been a great night here in Paris, France, and it has ended with the coronation of a new World Heavyweight Champion. For John Cartwright, this is Randy White saying goodnight from SFT New Beginnings.

JC: Goodnight folks.

FADEOUT…

Winner: Nirvana

Second Main Event
Redd vs. Glenn Owen
( Triple Threat match )

The Ballad by Testament hits and out comes Redd to a mix crowd, he slowly and quietly makes his way to the ring.

RW: Redd, hes as much a mystery as Legion was, we hardly know anything bout him or his past.

Next Brothers in Arms by Dire Straits hits and out comes Glenn Owen to huge cheers from the crowd, he gets in the ring.

JC: The Immortal Glenn Owen looks to be as ready as ever, will he finally break his curse of defeats to Redd and Shadow? Tonight we’ll know.

Finally a green mist rises from the first stage as Shoots and Ladders begins to play. Shadow appears within it as he is met by a huge barrage of cheers and boos, The crowd is the most loud we’ve heard this night, he makes his way to the ring with his silve cane in his left hand. He gets to the ring and gives his cane and coat to the ring people as he slowly gets in the ring.

Each man is in their respective corners and they are all just looking at each other with mutual respect but with no fear in their eyes.

RW: The myth known simply as Shadow is once again in the ring. He has very few matches these days, but everyone he has, is one to remember and are always great. Too bad this aint a scaffold match, hed be at an advantage if it were, those are his specialty.

The bell rings.

Redd is the first to act. He nails Glenn with a clothesline. As Shadow just watches. Redd with a suplex followed by a shining wizard kick. He covers but Shadow pushes him off Redd looks at him with a weird expression. Glenn for the favor repays Shadow with a dragon leg whip. Glenn now with a spear on Redd!!

RW: If Shadow and Redd were on the same page theyd have let Redd get the pin on Glenn but Shadow saved Glenn, whats going on?

JC: I think for this match, the Dead Pac may not be totally insync.

Glenn goes for a lariat but Redd ducks. Redd nails a kick to the gut and hits a quick slingshot suplex. Redd gets up and Shadow hits an elbow drop on Glenn. And goes for the pin, but this time Redd is the one to push Shadow off. Shadow just smiles. Redd tries to go for a vertabreaker but Glenn counters into a rollup with Shadow hitting a clothesline from hell just in the nick of time on Glenn.

RW: This is gonna be a rollercoaster of a match folks.

Redd now with a slingshot suplex on Glenn. And Glenn is slow to get up. Obviously weary and tired from the obvious double teams. Shadow and Redd complete a double Suplex. Shadow gets up and goes to his corner. Redd picks up Glenn and hits an inverted Russian Leg sweep. He goes for a cover and Shadow appears will not try to stop it. The ref counts 1….2…..kickout!

JC: Redd was a minisecond from taking the victory

Redd tries an elbow drop but Glenn moves out of the way. Glenn now with a quick powerslam as he tries to pin Redd, Shadow comes in with a cradled suplex on Glenn as Shadow gets a 2 count on Glenn. Redd hits a leg drop across the neck of Glenn. Redd picks up Glenn and throws Glenn against the ropes and hits a spinebuster!

Redd picks up Glenn and hits a brainbuster! Redd covers 1…2…kickout by Glenn.

RW: How the hell did he kick out.

Redd with a DDT, then quick picks up Glenn and then proceeds to hit an inverted DDT, Redd covers and 1,2, and kickout by Glenn.

JC: Once again Glenn kicked out, incredible!

Redd cant believe it. Redd takes a corner and nods to Shadow. Shadow waits for Glenn to get up, as he does Shadow completes a hurricane!

RW: How the hell can a guy who needs a cane to walk make that type of move!?

JC: After all these years why are you even surprised?

Shadow locks in a figure 4 leg lock, as he applys pressure to Glenn, Glenn is tremendous pain now is asked if he submits but he screams out no. More and more pressure is applied finally somehow miracously Glenn somehow inches his way to the ropes and grabs on for dear life. Shadow does not let up, he nails some forearms as Glenn is getting up and nails Glenn with a big time piledriver as Shadow goes for the cover 1…2…but Shadow stops himself and doesn’t take the 3.

RW: What the hell is Shadow doing?

Shadow just stares out into nothingness.

Redd pushes Shadow aside and tries the pin again. It’s 1…2…kickout by Glenn.

JC: Glenn saved yet again.

Redd climbs the ropes and goes for his Suicide Jump but Glenn manages to raise a foot as Redd hits nothing but boot.

Glenn gets up slowly and turns around to face Shadow and is met by a superkick. Glenn falls back and lands on Redd. Shadow just stands there and gets out of the ring and walks away.

RW: What is Shadow doing?

The ref doesn’t know what to do. Since Glenn is on top of Redd the ref starts the 3 count on Redd. 1…..2…kickout by Redd.

JC: Wow

Redd and Glenn both get up, they run at each other and clothesline each other at the same time, when they collide, when they land, Glenn’s arm is on Redd both men are completely knocked out, the ref counts 1…2…3. The ref raises Glenn’s arm but Glenn doesn’t even know it. Slowly both men start to come around.

Winner: Glenn Owen

Ending

We see Shadow come back to the rampway.

Hed PE Starts to play again and Redd gets up and helps Glenn to his feet, the crowd are going nuts. Glenn has finally won.

RW: He may not have beaten Shadow, but he won the match, and so his cursed streak ends in a way.

Redd and Glenn hug as they walk up to meet Shadow. All 3 embrace as they turn to face the crowd and all 3 raise up their arms. The crowd greets them with nothing but cheers for the spectacular match they’ve just witnessed. They all 3 go backstage together.
