Vendetta Opening
The screen goes black and the copyright info signals the start of the ppv for the viewers at home. The warning fades out to black and SFT's logo fades in and out. The opening promo kicks in highlighting all the grudge matches here tonight so that it's understood why this event is called "Vendetta". The promo ends and it cuts to inside the arena showing off the Vendetta set. A huge pyro explosion marks the beginning of the event as we cut to ringside!
RW: Welcome Folks to our much anticipated payperview, VENDETTA!
JC: You've got that right, Randy. What a show we have in store for you here tonight. It's grudge match upon grudge match and it's all highlighted by our double main event.
RW: Finally, The ICON and Dameon are gonna step toe to toe, one on one, after their 5 month ordeal!
JC: And after that, the SFT Title will be decided in a barb wire steel cage match! Dave Van Dam looking for another world title reign if he can defeat Dark Wolf. And boy, this one has gotten personal over the last week.
RW: All that and much more but let's get this show on the road, shall we?
The arena suddenly becomes bathed in a glow of golden light as the StrikeTron goes black, then begins to glow green. Fireworks of every color shoot off at the stage area.
JC: WHAT IS THIS ABOUT?!
RW: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WELCOME TO VENDETTA! Wait... didn't we already do that part?
"Enter Sandman" by Metallica begins as the pyro stops, and the crowd immediately explodes into near deafening cheers.
JC: Well, that might shed a little light on the mystery!
RW: As if we really needed anymore light in here right now.
A few more seconds pass as the intro plays, but finally Kyle Murphy walks out to answer the cheers of anticipation. He is dressed in black jeans with a green t-shirt and white sportcoat. The cheers remain almost ear shattering as on of the Towers' most beloved superstars makes his way down the ramp. At ringside Murphy circles to ring announcer Amanda Summers and holds out his hand for a microphone, which she gladly hands over to him. With the mic now in hand, he climbs the nearby ringsteps and enters the ring. He stands in the center of the ring, facing the main camera, and motions for the crowd to quiet down and take their seats.
Kyle Murphy: Conas atá tú, mo chara? Coill Ó Murchú is ainm dom.
The crowd erupts in cheers again.
Kyle Murphy: Ah, I see some of ya' know me.
Kyle Murphy: How are you, my friends? Kyle Murphy is my name.
Once more the crowd cheers and applauds.
Kyle Murphy: Now contrary to what some of the bhoys in the back may be afeared, I will keep this brief. Tonight SFT is bringing you Vendetta, live on pay-per-view. And we all know it isn't a good pay-per-view without The Superior One on it.
More cheers.
Kyle Murphy: But enough of the shameless self-promotion. After tonight's show begins another special event which just would not be the same without The Standard. That event is known as the LETHAL LOTTERY.
Again the crowd cheers, this time for the always exciting Lethal Lottery tournament itself.
Kyle Murphy: Now, it has always been commonplace for long departed superstars- and former World Champions- to return for this event in hopes of gaining that glorious SFT Championship, and the laud and praise that comes with it. And this year shall be no different.
Kyle Murphy: Because earlier this year, I announced an indefinite retirement so that I could spend time with my wife and our son. Also, I had admittedly lost the desire and the will to compete. But the thought of another Lethal Lottery- an event I have never even been to the Finals of, let alone won- has awoken that desire. I once again hear the call to arms, the call to GREATNESS.
Kyle Murphy: And so, I have come all the way out here to RENO, NEVADA...
Cheap pop.
Kyle Murphy: ...the BIGGEST little city in America... to announce that I have taken the GAMBLE. Though I still consider myself retired, Kyle Murphy is OFFICIALLY entered into the 2009 LETHAL Lottery!
Huge pop.
JC: What a huge announcement from the newest inductee into the Strike Towers Hall of Fame!
RW: Listen to this place! They're going to blow the roof off!
Kyle steps back out of the ring the way he came in, and hands the microphone back to Amanda Summers. He circles the ring again, shaking hands with fans along the way, and makes his way back up the aisle.
JC: How about that? Four-time SFT Champion Kyle Murphy joins the likes Dave Van Dam, The ICON, Tony Barrera, Shawn Walsh, and even HAVOC in the Lethal Lottery!
RW: Another legend enters the fray! What a tournament this is shaping up to be!
Match Number Three TK Money vs.
The Accountant Grudge Match
RW: Starting us off tonight is a grudge match to say the least.
JC: When Accountant returned, he did it at the expense of TK Money, interfering in his match and causing him to lose.
RW: But their history goes back further than that, John. We’ll see who gets the last laugh here tonight.
T.K. walks to the ring loosening his wrists and stretching his neck. Meanwhile on the StrikeTron images of him in his matches are showing and watermarked in them are his accomplishments shown at the tempo of the notes, during the sustained notes the words "SFT Hero" become static for the length of the note.
The Accountant walks to the ring carrying a silver briefcase and wearing spectacles. The Accountant enters the ring via the middle rope and then he sets the briefcase down under one of the corner turnbuckles, pops it open, places his glasses in it, closes it, and prepares for his opponent to enter the ring. If the opponent is in the ring he gives him a nasty smirk and readies for battle.
The two men eye ball each over and then begin to throw haymakers. TK Money gets the advantage and whips The Accountant in the ropes as The Accountant returns he is greeted with a boot to the face that sends him crashing to the mat.
RW: The Accountant tasting the leather of TK Moneys boot there John…
JC: Yeah and stuff…
TK Money lifts The Accountant to his feet and plants him back on the mat with a sidewalk slam. TK Money hovers over the fallen Accountant and attempts to lock in some sort of chokehold but The Accountant reverses it into a Sharpshooter. The Accountant has a hard time holding the tree-trunk-like legs and TK Money easily powers out. TK Money stumbles to his feet and The Accountant runs off the ropes behind TK Money and hits a full nelson bulldog. The Accountant climbs the top rope and jumps off nailing a corkscrew moonsault. The Accountant goes for the cover…
Ref: 1………2………
TK Money with a kickout right before the three count. The Accountant can't believe it, but doesn't lose his composure as he again stays on TK Money who is now on his feet. The Accountant goes for a Full Nelson Leg Sweep but gets elbowed in the face and planted with a Russian Leg Sweep. This time TK Money goes to the top rope and stalks The Accountant who is now getting up. The Accountant wobbles a little and turns around to a huge Flying Clothesline.
JC: Holy Moley, look at TK Money fly.
RW: Yeah, that was an impressive high impact move that paid off.
TK Money peels The Accountant off the canvas but sends him back down with a Pump Handle Slam. TK Money lifts up The Accountant again and whips him into the turnbuckle, with a head of steam, TK Money charges at The Accountant but the US champ ducks and grabs the head of TK Money and springs off the middle turnbuckle with a springboard Tornado DDT. The Accountant climbs the top once more and tries to hit a Frog Splash on TK Money who gets his knees up digging them into exposed ribs off The Accountant. The Accountant writhes in pain as TK Money lifts him up and attempts to end it with a cradle piledriver. The Accountant squirms out and reverses it to a float over reverse DDT.
RW: What an incredible reversal. It was almost over there.
JC: Yep…you seem real observant today Randy, been eating your Wheaties?
TK Money slides out of the ring to regroup. The Accountant sees this and runs at the ropes and hits a Front Flip Plancha over the top ropes onto TK Money who catches him and Powerbombs him on the mat outside! TK Money stands over the broken Accountant and shakes his head. TK Money slides in the ring and waits for The Accountant to re-enter the ring. The Accountant takes a while so TK Money takes it upon himself to taunt the crowd a little. The Accountant who was playing possum climbs the top rope and waits for TK Money to turn around. TK Money leaps off the top rope and attempts an axe handle but is caught in mid air and Chokeslammed to the mat.
JC: Perfect example of why possums die a lot.
RW: Why do possums die a lot John?
JC: Because when possums play…uh….possum it doesn't always work every time. Like that time, The Accountant tried to play possum and got Chokeslammed.
RW: What would the best animal be for playing dead John?
JC: I don't know…maybe a dog or something…they play dead when you ask them to….
TK Money slides out of the ring and takes a chair from the times keeper and slides it into the ring. A still fallen The Accountant lay motionless on the mat. TK Money drapes the chair over The Accountant's face and ascends the turnbuckle. TK Money leaps off and nails a frog splash onto the chair onto the face of The Accountant! TK Money goes for the cover…
Ref: 1………2………
The Accountant barely kicks out. TK Money peels the chair off of The Accountant's face to reveal a Crimson Mask on The Accountant. He lifts the bloody US champ to his feet and DDT's him back to the mat leaving a bloodstain in the center of the canvas. TK Money lifts up the chair once more, but this time he opens it and lifts up The Accountant, and presses him up and attempts a Gorilla Press Slam, but The Accountant reverses it and slides out of TK Moneys grip for a DDT through the seat of the chair!
JC: TK Moneys head slammed straight onto the steel chair Randy! The Accountant with a picture perfect DDT through the seat of the chair…well not exactly through, but onto the seat pretty much smashing it. Randy, did you see that?!?!
RW: I know John…I saw it…with my own two eyes…
The Accountant rolls over onto TK Money and the referee makes the count.
Ref: 1..... 2........ 3!
Winner: The Accountant
Post Match Segment
As The Accountant celebrates in the ring, the lights go out.
RW: What the fuck with the lights going out all the damn time?!
JC: I'm gonna start bringing a fucking flashlight to the announce table.
The Strike-tron then lights up. The words "I REMEMBER" blink on the Striketron as those words get shot through with Native American Arrows. The Strike-tron then goes black as The Accountant stands in the ring, confused.
Match Number Two Redd and Jack Jones vs.
ZTurbo and Fury Tag Team Match
JC: It’s time for Jungle Fury to make their debut against Jack Jones and Redd.
RW: Let's get this road on the show!
JC: It's the other way around.
RW: Oh, I know. I was being clever.
JC: Good job.
Furious" hits the pa system as a 79 Camaro, Full-loaded drives out sporting green neon lights. The car begins to roar as it revs in a stall at the top of the ramp, the neons beginning to flicker from green to red to blue simultaneously. The door slowly opens, revealing Turbo behind the wheel of the car. He steps out, calmly shtting the door before taking to a full sprint to the ring. He dives into the ring, standing up quickly before playing to the fans. He walks over to his corner and rests until the match begins.
RW: This should be a great match.
JC: But they have some stiff competition ahead of them. Redd and Jack aren't exactly slouches. Shown by the fact that they both used to be World Champions.
Friends in low places hit’s the air and out walks Jack and Redd, these two look so in sync with each other as they slide into the ring, the ref has his back Redd and Jack and Redd comes flying over the top of the ref.
JC: See what chemistry that Jack and Redd have?
RW: I see cheating!
JC: Whatever works Randy! Whatever works.
Jack makes the tag to Redd while holding onto Fury's wrist. He twists it to hold Fury there as Redd climbs to the top rope and leaps off with a double axe handle. Jack goes to the corner on the other side of the ropes as he takes over on Fury. He grabs Fury by the head and swings, Fury blocks it and pushes Redd, making him stumble back. Fury catches Redd off guard and charges towards him with a flurry of punches that send Redd all the way to the ropes on the other side. Fury winds up and clotheslines Redd over the ropes to the mat below. He runs over towards Jack and hits him with a diving forearm sending him to the mat below as well. Turbo looks at Redd from his corner as he is getting up. He sets him up and runs along the apron, diving off into a cross body block toppling Redd to the ground once again. Fury looks down from the ring and grabs the ropes, spring boarding himself over the ropes towards Jack. Jack rolls out of the way so Fury hits the mat face first.
RW: Ouch! Face plant!
JC: Those always hurt.
Jack picks up Fury and whips him towards the turnbuckle, but Fury counters and sends Jack shoulder first into the corner, letting him taste the steel. Fury goes after him, grabbing his head and slamming it into the guard rail. He turns him so his back is to the rail and begins unleashing right hands to him. Turbo picks up Redd and goes to swing but Redd blocks the punch, he takes his arm over his head and suplexes him onto the rampway sending the sound of steel echoing throughout the arena. He picks up Turbo and whips him to the apron. He walks towards him and pushes him into the ring. Jack counters a punch from Fury and slams his head to the guard rail. He grabs him and DDT's him to the floor. He picks up Fury and tosses him into the ring to Redd. Redd grabs him and whips him into the ropes. He quickly runs with him and as Fury bounces off, he catches a knee that sends him flipping onto his back. Turbo goes to stop Redd, but the ref orders him back to his corner again. Jack goes to the apron and tells Redd to whip Fury to the ropes. He does so and side steps, as Fury comes bouncing back, Jack leaps off the top rope and hits a diving clothesline to him. Jack quickly goes to his corner before the referee sees the double teaming.
JC: Fury is being dominated here and being kept from his partner who needs to tag in if they have any desire of coming out of this match alive!
RW: That's the nature of the beast John, Jack and Redd are former world champs.
Redd picks up Fury and begins blasting away with lefts and rights. He tosses Fury into his corner again and pounds away with a 10 count punch as the arena counts with him. At 9 Fury actually blocks him. He grabs his legs and hits a big spine buster. He stumbles towards his corner as Jack grabs the referee and pulls him towards his corner to begin talking to him. Fury tags Turbo as the crowd roars. Turbo gets in the ring and charges towards the other team but the ref pushes him back to his corner. Turbo argues but the ref says he never saw them tag.
JC: Holy crap! What a downer for Jungle Fury! Fury clearly tagged Turbo, but Jack distracted the referee so he never saw a thing.
RW: Nature of the beast Phil. Nature of the beast.
Fury gets back into the ring and starts attacking Redd. Redd blocks a punch and lays out Fury with a clothesline. He sends him to the ropes and goes for another one, but Fury ducks and hooks his arm, he spins around to the other side and hits a tornado DDT onto Redd. He runs over and attacks Jack, sending him to the mat again. He goes towards Redd and picks him up and hits a snap suplex. He holds on and rolls up, still holding and suplexes again. He rolls him, still holding on and goes for another. Redd sticks out his leg, blocking the move. He gets Fury's arm and hits a Flatliner inverted Russian leg sweep. He whips him to the ropes and goes for a clothesline, but so doesn't Fury. They both collide and are lifeless in the ring on their backs.
JC: This is it! Fury needs to make a tag right now!
RW: C'mon Fury!!!
Fury rolls onto his stomach and begins to crawl towards Turbo who eagerly has his hand out. Redd sits up and sees Fury crawling towards his partner. He slowly begins to crawl as well, grabbing Fury's foot. He stands up, still holding the foot as Fury rises to his one free foot. Redd goes to pull him away but Fury leaps and makes the tag to Turbo. Turbo enters the ring and promptly forearms Redd to the ground. Jack enters the ring but is promptly clotheslined as well. Fury gets Redd and puts his head between his legs. He signals Turbo to go to the top rope as he puts Redd into the crucifix powerbomb set up.
JC: Looks like they got their second wind! If they hit this, its all over.
RW: But look!
Turbo quickly spins Redd around and Fury comes crashing down on to the chest of Redd. Fury rolls across for the cover.
1...2...3!!!!
Winner: Jungle Fury, ZTurbo and Fury
Post Match Segment / SFT Return
Jungle Fury roll out of the ring. But the theme music is abruptly cut short and the lights in the arena begin to flicker on and off until a dull red light settles over the ring. Madonna’s ‘Frozen’ begins to play over the PA system but is quickly wound down with vinyl scratches. The fans laugh with confused looks on their faces.
The player then picks up again and begins to play ‘Shoots and Ladders’ by Korn.
John Cartwright: That’s Shadow’s music!
Randy White: Ring ‘a’ ring a roses!
But the song is cut off with the sound of glass shattering and the sound of flames flickering.
John Cartwright: What the hell is going on!?
Fury decides to cut his losses and makes his way to the ramp for an exit when black tar-like liquid bursts up in fountains from the stage. It quickly trickles down the ramp and makes ascending the slippery slope impossible. The champion picks up his guard and slides tentatively back into the ring when the red light goes out and plunges the arena into darkness.
An image of the three wolf moon t-shirt comes up on the StrikeTron when ‘The Boys are Back in Town’ by Thin Lizzy begins to play.
Randy White: Oh my God! It’s Glenn Owen! The man himself has returned to us! Let us bow!
John Cartwright: I’ll pass, sissy pants.
Building in volume, several shrieking screams start to quiver in unison and pitch until the Thin Lizzy noise is drowned out all around the arena. It seems to spark off an eruption on the stage that sets the black tar on fire. Pungent fumes are sent up into the air.
Randy White: This is ridiculous. Let’s cut to a break. The PA system is obviously broke.
John Cartwright: What about the tar? And the fire? Is that a technical error too? Last I knew, we didn’t keep highly flammable fluids under the stage, dick weed.
A spotlight clicks on and shines down on part of the stage unaffected by the flames. Massive Attack’s ‘Superpredators’ begins to play quietly in the background. Perched on a stool with a microphone stand in front of her is Lucretia Black.
Randy White: The bitch is back!
John Cartwright: You can’t keep good hell spawn down, ‘tis what I always say.
Lucretia Black: Ahem…
Other than the tune, the arena falls into silence.
Lucretia Black: Hi.
She sniggers to herself then lets her deep brown eyes look up over the crowd.
Lucretia Black: Back again.
She weakly waves as if she’s exhausted.
Lucretia Black: Hey Jack? Yeah, you, cowboy! How ya doing? I came back for you! My arrival is just a little thank you for keeping this place alive while everyone went to pastures green. Funny how they keep on coming back here though, isn’t it? All those back stabbing two faced cowardly little men and women. Yeah? Yeah! Heh heh. What a silly little thing you are, Jack. But before I go on… Wait. Fuck it. I’m not going to go on. The surprise has arrived. Redd? Jones? Turn around. A BIG thank you from Lucretia Black!
They turn around just in time to find Jared Mayer sliding under the bottom rope into the ring as lights come back on. The two step back but stay in the ring as Redd and Jones go in for the attack, recognizing a near seven foot tall silent German torture machine when it was running towards them. They start nailing in boots, but Jared seems impervious to them. He climbs to his feet.
Lucretia Black: Enjoy.
The spotlight on the stage clicks off and Lucretia disappears from sight. Meanwhile in the ring, Jared grabs Jack Jones by the throat and pushes him back, throwing him into the ropes and then the massive German known also as ‘der Sensenmann’ charges forward and hits him with the Reichsprogramnacht – perhaps the most devastating lariat the SFT has ever seen! Jack Jones is thrown over the top rope and rolls along the mat into the security barrier.
Without a breath in between, he then turns to Redd and kicks him in the gut. He sets him up and hits him with a powerbomb, then lifts him up again as if he was going for his second finisher, the Massenvernichtung. But Redd fights back and Jared staggers. Out of no where though, ZTurbo hits Redd in the head with a chair!
Randy White: Here we go!
Jared throws Redd forward and powerbombs him over his knee! Redd crumbles to the mat and Jared stands tall. He turns around slowly to look at Jungle Fury. They look ready to fight it out, but Jared just slides out of the ring and stares at Jack Jones for several moments before the show cuts to a break.
John Cartwright: My God. Jared Mayer is back. The hardcore legend and Body Count winner is back! Surely this time he must have his eyes on the world title?
Randy White: Damn right you are, John. Just this second, I got news from the back saying that Jared Mayer has been entered into the Lethal Lottery and Lucretia Black has every intention of taking him to the final.
John Cartwright: Well he looks like he’s still in top form and that means it’s well within his grasp. He just dominated Redd and Jones with almost no effort. I think this man is definitely going to be one to look out for in the tournament!
Match Number One Josh Konnely vs.
Anishinabe Standard Match
JC: Our next match tonight pits the returning Josh Konnely against Anishinabe.
RW: Anish has run into buzzsaws lately, but you’ve got to admire how persistent he is. Everytime he’s knocked down, he gets back up.
JC: And Konnely is looking to put last week’s loss behind him and get the ball rolling heading into the lottery.
"NEVER BACK DOWN IN THE FACE ANGER!" The lights flicker, then go out as "Perfect Insanity" by Disturbed blares through the arena. A yellow light illuminates the stage area, and two rockets of pyro fly from the far side of the arena to explode on the stage. Josh Konnely steps out into the smoke left by the exploding pyro, and raises his arms as the crowd boos. With his fists clenched and a scowl on his face, Konnely walks down the aisle to ringside. He runs up the steps, walks to the center of the apron, and climbs through the ropes into the ring. Going to the opposite corner, he steps onto the second rope, glaring out into the booing crowd. Josh raises both arms, his hands forming cornas, as the crowd boos loudly. He steps down out of the corner and shoves past the referee before leaning back against the ropes, ready to fight.
Anishinabe walks to the ring.
The two men then stand only a few footsteps apart and the crowd buzzes in anticipation. The two men smirk to one another and look at the weapons already scattered about the ring. They decide not to use them just yet and lock hands in a test of strength. Anishinabe gains a quick slight advantage, but Josh Konnely uses his superior size to put Anishinabe to the ground. Anishinabe pops back up quickly and Josh Konnely locks in a hammerlock. He then extends Seth’s arm and spins it around. Anishinabe uses his quickness to his advantage though, somersaulting then kipping up and reversing the move to Josh Konnely who reels a bit. Anishinabe then sweeps Konnely’s legs from under him while maintaining the hold.
RW: Look at these two just go at it.
Josh Konnely rolls forward and wraps his legs around Seth’s arm, breaking his hold and creating one for himself. Anishinabe looks at his placement in the ring and realizes he can’t reach any ropes, so he tries to get his legs around Konnely’s neck but Josh Konnely slaps them away. He then kicks Josh Konnely in the face, causing him to lose his guard, and then he locks his legs around his neck and rolls onto his stomach. Josh Konnely grabs Seth’s legs and slowly pries his head out from his legs and folds Seth’s left leg over the back of his right knee before grabbing his right ankle and quickly somersaulting forward, causing his leg to contort badly.
JC: ouch man thats gotta really hurt, I mean OUCH
Anishinabe rolls quickly away and rests his hand on his right leg, making sure everything is still where it should be. He then gets up and Josh Konnely runs at him, he rolls out of the way and Josh Konnely come across from the turnbuckles. Anishinabe decides to quickly raise the volume of the match as he quickly a chair and nails Josh Konnely in the side of the face with it, as he’s running back towards him. He then picks Josh Konnely up and uses his striking prowess hitting a left jab followed by a right and then an uppercut, sending Josh Konnely to the ropes.
He then runs at Konnely, but Josh Konnely ducks and throws Anishinabe over his head. With great ring presence though, Anishinabe manages to land on his feet on the apron and catches Josh Konnely in the back of the head with a kick. He then goes for a springboard clothesline. But as he’s doing that, Josh Konnely picks up a chair and dropkicks it straight into Anishinabe ’s face. Josh Konnely lifts him up, Anishinabe is still fully conscious though so he swings at Josh Konnely who ducks and grabs his arm, locking it in a half nelson before hitting a half nelson suplex onto a trashcan that was already in the ring, causing it to contort to Anishinabe ’s body. Josh Konnely then picks Anishinabe up and signals for the end. He hits him with the Death Rattle. He covers,
1………..2………….no
RW: Close call there but no dice
Anishinabe kicks out. Josh Konnely looks around, more disappointed than stunned. He smirks and shrugs and picks Anishinabe back up. Anishinabe though fights back again, hitting Josh Konnely in both the stomach and the head. He punches Josh Konnely in the gut, hunching him over and then he delivers a brutal knee to Konnely’s face. He nails his trademark sidewalk slam! He covers.
1………2………..no
Josh Konnely kicks out. Anishinabe looks a bit frustrated. He picks up Konnely and signals for his finisher. He hits Konnely with a vicious PowerBomb! He covers 1……..2………no
RW: Im getting dizzy here so many missed pins!
Josh Konnely kicks out yet again. Anishinabe become irate. He picks Josh Konnely back signals for another PowerBomb!
He smiles as he lifts Josh Konnely into position. He swings Josh up, but Josh Konnely realizes what’s going on and as his body spins, he wraps his arms around Anishinabe ’s throat and falls backwards into the Death Grip, a rear naked choke. Anishinabe ’s eyes bulge from their sockets and he grasps desperately at his neck, digging his nails into Konnely’s hands. His fighting becomes less and less fierce though. He coughs once and his arms go limp. The ref calls for the bell.
RW: Konnely has done it!
JC: What a reversal!
RW: What a great match to kick off Vendetta!
Winner: Josh Konnely
Backstage Segment
Camera cuts backstage where The Accountant is suited up and leaving the arena. As he gets to his car, he puts the key in the door and suddenly flying into the scene is a blunt arrow! Accountant falls to a heap next to his car, knocked out from the arrow. As the camera turns around, Anishinabe is standing there laughing.
RW: What the hell? Anish is shooting people with arrows, now?!
JC: You know, it makes sense. Anishinabe lost a match to Accountant awhile back and being so upset with himself after the match, Anishinabe ended up quiting SFT.
RW: Well, it looks like he's got unfinished business.
JC: Yea, looks like everyone has a Vendetta! Get it? Vendetta?
RW: Oh my god, shut up.
Match Number Four Nathan Gust vs.
Saint Jude vs. Twilight Strike Towers Hardcore Championship Match
JC: What an exciting matchup we have coming up. The reigning Hardcore Champion Nathan Gust is putting the gold on the line against Saint Jude and Twilight. This has match of the night written all over it.
RW: It's a handicap match, John. Plain and simple. The champ knew that going into this so he better be prepared for the worst.
Amanda Summers: The following contest is a Triple Threat Match and it is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring first... weighing in at 190 pounds... he hails from Augusta, Georgia... "Mr. Rivers" TWILIGHT!
Basketcase by Greenday hits as he slowly walks to the ring and sits in his corner till his opponent gets in and the bell rings.
JC: Why did the bell just ring?
RW: I think it was part of his entrance.
JC: Lame.
Amanda Summers: Coming to the ring at this time... weighing in at 200 pounds... he comes to you from Waco... "Jude" SAINT JUDE!
walks shyly to the ring.
JC: What?!
RW: I don't know.
JC: This is getting ridiculous...
"Suffa" by (hed) P.E. starts to play and the fans go wild, not because of who is coming out... but because the song is so dope and fly... and shit. The current SFT Hardcore Champion "Der Führer" Nathan Gust walks out from the backstage area with a smile on his face. The journey down the ramp to the incredible squared circle of SFT begins...
Amanda Summers: Making his way to ring that he will soon own at this time... he stands five feet ten inches and weighs in at an astoundingly fit and lean two hundred and fifteen pounds! He is our master, our idol, and ultimately the man we all prey to before we go to bed! Please give a resounding welcome to the only man to ever make every woman in the world cum three times at the same time just by taking off his shirt! He’s the world’s greatest, he is the inevitable future Strike Fantasy Towers World Heavyweight Champion! "Der Führer" NATHAN GUST!
As the entire arena gives a reaction that can only be seen as ‘God-like’, our superhero and all around good guy finally stops at the bottom of the ramp. He looks around and then walks up the steps. Gust stops at the top of the steps as he points to the camera man and points with his thumb to the back of his jacket. The camera man gets a good look at the jacket as on the back are white words outlined in a charcoal grey that read “White Power”. Nathan walks along the apron as he takes a moment to wipe his feet before entering the ring. As he stands in the center of the ring, he throws his arms in the air as pyro goes off from all four corner posts of the ring!
JC: Now that's more like it!
RW: I agree. What an impressive entrance by -- as Amanda said -- the future SFT Champion Nathan Gust.
JC: I highly doubt he'll get near the SFT Title, Randy. He's been in and out of SFT since day one and has never won the belt.
RW: He's also never had a shot at it...
JC: Touché
Nathan Gust smiles and nods, then hands his Hardcore Championship over to Referee Rudy Hebner. Hebner holds it in the air to the fans' approval, then holds it in front of both Twilight and Saint Jude, who are standing in the same corner. After both men touch the belt and nod, Hebner hands the title to Amanda Summers, who is now on the outside of the ring. Hebner explains that this match has no holds barred, no rope breaks, no count outs, and no disqualification.
JC: There must be a winner here, folks. That's what he's trying to get at.
RW: Of course there must. This is for the Hardcore Championship! Anything goes, baby!
Nathan Gust walks over to his corner on the opposite side of the ring and flips off both men as the opening bell sounds for real this time.
JC: That's not such a smart way to start off what is virtually a handicap match.
Jude and Twilight start walking towards Gust, who rolls out of the ring. Twilight stops behind Jude and gets him in a schoolboy!
1...
2...
NO!
Jude kicked out just before the three and both men get to their feet. Twilight smiles at Jude, who shakes his finger at Twilight, then points at Gust on the outside of the ring. The two men nod together and exit the ring on opposite sides, approaching the Hardcore Champion. When they get near Gust, he hops over the guardrail and makes his way through the roaring crowd. The fans go wild as the two challengers climb over the barricade in pursuit of Gust.
JC: The people of Reno are really behind Jude and Twilight.
RW: I don't know if they are behind them as much as they are against Gust. He is on the Wall of Shame, afterall.
JC: So is RWA... and it has been dead for two years.
RW: True...
As Twilight and Jude get close to catching up with Gust, Twilight stops by a hot dog vendor while Jude keeps on trucking. When Jude gets within reach, he grabs Gust's shoulder and turns him around. The champ swings at Jude, Jude ducks. Jude then knees Gust in the stomach and throws him into a wall. Gust hits the wall hard and falls to the ground, where Jude proceeds to put the boots to the champ. After a few stomps, Twilight makes his way over holding two jumbo hot dogs.
JC: Those suckers are five bucks a piece.
RW: I know. I won't pay that much for a damn hot dog.
JC: Obviously Twilight will.
When he gets near, he hands one of the hot dogs over to Jude and the two enjoy a snack together while stomping away at the Hardcore Champion. When both challengers have finished their jumbo hot dogs, they drag the champ to his feet and lay in strikes on him as they push him through the crowd. They attack him all the way back to the hot dog vendor. Twilight opens up the compartment that holds the hot dogs and he grabs one out. He holds it up in the air and the fans cheer for some reason. He then shoves the hot dog into Nathan Gust's mouth. The fans go wild!
JC: Nathan Gust must really love wieners.
RW: Don't let him hear you say that.
JC: Oh, I won't...
Saint Jude almost laughs, then tells Twilight that the games are over. Jude slaps Gust on the back, forcing him to spit out the hot dog. He lifts Gust up on his shoulders and carries him back to the ringside area, then plops him down over the barricade. He turns around and nods at Twilight, who takes off running towards Jude. When they meet face-to-face, Jude back body drops Twilight over the guardrail on top of Gust!
RW: Great double team work by Jude and Twilight.
JC: Yeah, but that hurt Twilight in the process.
Indeed it did hurt Twilight, who landed back first on Gust's torso. Twilight is now laying on his stomach next to Gust. As he holds his back, he throws his arm over Gust's chest.
1...
2...
NO!
As Jude climbs over the guardrail, he doesn't see Twilight and steps on the arm he has draped over Gust's chest.
RW: Did he kick out?
JC: Nope. It looks like Jude broke it up when he climbed over the guardrail.
Jude helps Twilight up. Twilight is now holding his right arm in pain. Jude looks apologetic and comes up with a way to make it up to him...
RW: Why... why is Jude laying down?
JC: So Twilight can pin him?
Twilight shrugs his shoulders and covers Jude, hooking his leg in the process.
1...
2...
NO!
Before the count of three, Gust found a second wind and broke it up just in time. In a sudden burst of rage, Gust gets to his feet and comes at Twilight quickly... punting the side of the challenger's head. Twilight flops over onto his back. Gust uses Jude as a launch pad to double stomp Twilight, then drop with with a senton splash. Instead of going for the pin, the champion staggers over to the edge of the ring and lifts up the apron. He searches for something useful and pulls out a table. The crowd goes wild at the sight of said table. As he sets it up, Jude gets to his feet holding his stomach. He sneaks up on Gust and clubs the back of his neck, forcing him to roll on top of the table. Jude then clubs Gust's chest a few times while Twilight gets to his feet. Jude tells Twilight something. He nods and climbs on top of the table while Jude is still holding Gust. When Jude lets go, Twilight pulls Gust up to his feet and does... something... to Gust through the table...
JC: What the hell was that?
RW: That's his trademark move 2ldne later!
JC: Right... but what is it?
RW: Obviously not a real move because Nathan Gust just completely no-sold and took Twilight's head off with a monstrous lariat!
Indeed he had. The nonexistent trademark move of Twilight that he used to put Gust through the table had no affect on the Hardcore Champion, who indeed took Twilight's head off with a monstrous lariat. When he turns around, Saint Jude comes diving off the ring steps. He catches Gust's head and delivers a tornado dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane!
JC: Divine Intervention!
RW: Amazing! That's got to be it!
Saint Jude covers the champion...
1...
2...
NO!
JC: What?!
RW: Why did Jude leave Gust?
JC: I think he's worried about Twilight...
Indeed he is. Jude got up just before the three count when he saw the condition Twilight was in. While taking that monstrous lariat from the Hardcore Champion, Twilight did a complete backflip and his ankle caught the edge of the ring steps. There are a handful of emergency medical technicians checking on Twilight as Saint Jude sacrifices the Hardcore Championship to help his friend. Jude helps Twilight up to his good leg and the two start walking away from the ring. This allows time for the champion to gain the strength to get to his feet. He sees his challengers walking away and he looks furious. Gust picks up half of the broken table and follows after his challengers, slamming the broken table over their backs! Twilight falls to the ground and Jude falls to one knee. He turns around and -- as Gust swings the broken table again -- he jabs Gust in the stomach. Gust drops the broken table and Jude tosses Gust into the ring. He checks on Twilight -- who is using the ring apron to get to his feet -- before sliding into the ring. Gust is back to his feet as Jude comes in and the two exchange blows until Jude gets the upper hand. After ducking a punch from Gust, he grabs Gust's arm and gets in a nice arm ringer before locking side-to-side and planting Gust with a Russian leg sweep! With the champion down, Jude ascends the turnbuckle. Jude motions that he is going to do a top rope elbow drop...
RW: Fist of God!
JC: But... it's an elbow...
RW: So?
JC: Doesn't that make it Elbow of God?
RW: Hmmm... maybe...
As Jude comes off the top for the Fist... err... Elbow of God, Nathan Gust rolls out of the way and Saint Jude crashes hard onto the mat! Twilight sees this from the outside of the ring and he looks underneath the ring, then pulls out two steel chairs. He slides the chairs into the ring and crawls into the ring himself, being everso careful of his hurt ankle. As he gets to one knee, so does Gust. The two lock eyes, then both stare at one of the chairs in the center of the ring. Gust -- being the only one with two working ankles -- gets to his feet first and grabs said chair. He lifts it over his head and goes to hit Twilight, but "Mr. Rivers" takes the low road...
JC: LOW BLOW! LOW BLOW! LOW BLOW!
At this point, Twilight's tag team partner TK Money is seen heading down the ramp with a golf club in hand. When he gets half way, "The Renegade" Shawn Walsh jumps over the barricade with a gold club of his own and the two have a gold club duel on the ramp that ends when both men hit each other in the head!
RW: OH MY GOD!
JC: I KNOW, RIGHT!
Back in the ring, Twilight is up on his good ankle and he now has the chair in his hands. Instead of hitting the champion, he sets the chair up in the center of the ring facing the other chair he set up in the center of the ring. He grabs Gust by the neck and lifts him up off the mat with all his might. He sets Gust up for a vertebreaker, but he can't hold Gust's weight on his bad ankle. He tries again to hoist Gust up. As he gets Gust up in the air, he lets go of Gust's arms... allowing the Hardcore Champion to deliver...
RW: REVERSE HURRICANRANA THROUGH THE CHAIRS!
The fans go insane as Twilight is folded in half through the steel chairs! Gust pushes the destroyed chairs out of the way and rolls Twilight over, then hooks both legs!
1...
2...
3!
At the last possible second, Jude dives over to break it up... but he is too late!
JC: He's done it! Nathan Gust has retained the Hardcore Championship!
Winner and STILL SFT HARDCORE CHAMPION: Nathan Gust
Post Match Segment
"Suffa" by (hed) P.E. starts to play and the fans are very torn on whether or not they should cheer. Referee Hebner grabs the Hardcore Title from Amanda Summers and brings it over. On his way over, Jude snatches the belt and gets to his feet. The champ looks at Hebner to get his belt, then stands up himself. He points at Jude...
Nathan Gust: Give me my fucking belt.
Saint Jude: All you care about is gold. What about loyalty? Friendship?
Jude points down at Twilight. Gust looks at the destroyed Twilight and he laughs. Jude sighs and tosses the title over to Gust, who catches it and flips off Saint Jude.
JC: A blatant sign of disrespect from our Hardcore Champion.
As Gust turns around to leave, he gets dragged out of the ring by his feet by TK Money! TK and Gust brawl at ringside...
RW: I forgot about TK and Walsh! Looks like TK got the upper hand!
Shawn Walsh gets back to his feet on the ramp and he charges at TK. He takes out Twilight's tag team partner and helps up his friend Gust, who picks up his Hardcore Title and holds it in the air while Saint Jude watches from inside the ring.
JC: You have to give him credit. He has taken on quite a challenge tonight and come out on top.
Before John could even finish his sentence, "The Cowboy" Cowboy Jack Jones is seen coming from the backstage area. He runs down the ramp and attacks both Walsh and Gust from behind as TK Money gets to his feet. TK and Jack lay in some stiff shots to the current Hardcore Champion and former two time World Heavyweight Champion. As Jude watches the attack on Walsh and Gust, "Renegade" by Jay-Z featuring Eminem starts to play. The following appears on the StrikeTron...
Match Five Ryan Cage vs.
Tyler Veritas* Strike Towers United States Championship Match
They walk the perimeter of the ring before the bell rings and with one big step from both, they hook up in the center of the ring. There is a struggle as they try and get the advantage over their opponent. Eventually, it is Veritas, the slightly heavier man, who gets free and pushes Ryan Cage back into the ropes. Instead of rebounding back, Ryan Cage grabs the ropes and sneers at Veritas. Ryan Cage stands his ground, keeping a cool face about it. Both of them meet again in the ring and hook up again. This time Ryan Cage quickly gains the advantage with an arm drag. And while Veritas gets to his feet, Ryan Cage goes against the ropes and as Veritas stands up and faces his opponent, Ryan Cage takes him over the top rope, sacrificing himself as well by following him over. Veritas falls to the floor below but Ryan Cage manages to fall onto the apron and remains virtually undamaged. Veritas rolls a couple of time over to the bottom of the ramp after falling from the ring, but quickly gets up, like there is some pride in doing so. He fails to see Ryan Cage leap off the apron with an impressive Asai moonsault until the very last second though, but tries with lightning quick reactions to move out of the way, however, even that proves not to be enough. Ryan Cage crashes into Veritas and they both land on the ramp! Veritas’s attempt to move meant that Ryan Cage was just as affected from the move as Veritas was though and it is Veritas who somehow manages to get up first. He lifts Ryan Cage up to his feet and tries to roll him back into the ring, but Ryan Cage puts his foot up into the apron and refuses to budge. Ryan Cage then tries to slam Veritas’s head into the apron, but Veritas puts his hands down first. With haste, Veritas strikes out with an elbow to Reno’s chest. Then he hooks Ryan Cage up and hits a Russian leg sweep. Veritas gets up again, as does Reno, and after an exchange of punches, Veritas gains the upper hand with a kick to the gut followed by snap suplex. Veritas swings round and gets up to his feet without breaking the hold. He hits a second suplex on Ryan Cage and slowly gets up for a third successive suplex, but as Veritas tries to lift Ryan Cage up, he hooks his leg around Veritas’s leg. Ryan Cage escapes the hold and tackles Veritas into the steel post!
Randy: Whoa, man! That must have hurt.
John: These two have been straight wrestling, I smell a match of the week!
Meanwhile, Ryan Cage had thrown Veritas into the ring. Veritas showed no reluctance because as soon as Ryan Cage rolled in after him, Veritas helps himself to a pin attempt with a small package.
1.....
2.....
Kickout!
Ryan Cage catches on to what Veritas was doing and kicked out with force. He stands up quickly and lays some boots in on the downed Veritas. Veritas shows little resistance until he grabs one of Reno’s feet as he tries to lay down another stomp. He keeps the hold as he gets up to his feet. A sneaky Ryan Cage tries to hit an enzuguri but an expecting Veritas ducks. Ryan Cage down now on his back tries to kick out again but Veritas only grabs his other foot and slides him into the middle of the ring, adjusts his grasp on Ryan Cage and locks in Boston crab. The move seems to be more for Veritas’s enjoyment, seeing Ryan Cage squirm in agony underneath him. The fans love it though. They scream for Ryan Cage to not give up. Suddenly, Ryan Cage stops resisting, stopping an attempt to reach the ropes. Instead he starts trying to push his legs down to the ground, loosening Veritas’s grip on him. Eventually the technique works and Veritas stumbles forward into the second rope. He seems hung up, but Ryan Cage is hurting too much to act on the opening. Both of them get up again, but Ryan Cage is the one who hits a roundhouse kicks to Veritas’s thigh, followed by a superkick to his jaw. Veritas still on his feet falls back but tries to storm forward. The attempt fails and Ryan Cage hooks Veritas up.
Randy: Vertigo!
Ryan Cage went to hit his finishing move out of no where, but Veritas was quicker and dropped to the mat with an arm breaker.
John: Awesome reversal!
They both lie there on the mat, breathless. Neither man seems able to get a good advantage over the other, as both seem so evenly matched. They both get to their feet again at the same time. Ryan Cage charges at Veritas, tries a jumping clothesline, misses and Veritas turns around to hit a stiff clothesline to Ryan’s neck.
Randy: Is Ryan Cage okay?
After the impact, Ryan Cage slumped to the mat and collapsed in a pile. Even is Veritas is surprised and he breaks charcter a little bit. Ryan Cage fails to move as Veritas taps him to check up on him. Veritas looks up to call out for EMTs, but out of no where, an ‘injured’ Ryan Cage stabs Veritas in the eye with a thumb and rolls him up with his own pin attempt.
1....
2....
Kickout!
John: Don't see that often, Ryan Cage was playing possum!
Randy: He really wants this win.
JC: And I think he would, the US Title is on the line!
Ryan Cage stands up, flustered. He picks Veritas up and goes to hit him with a suplex but with an uproar of boos from the fans, Veritas reverses and pushes Ryan, and he accidentally hits the ref! He goes behind and hits the Romans 1:18! He covers.
John: The worthless referee is down!
Veritas calls for another ref to get down to the ring, and when one finally does, he covers again.
1.....
2.....
Kickout!
Randy: So damn close!
Both lie on the floor and slowly get up. They exchange more blows and Veritas gets the upper hand once again. He traps Ryan Cage in a power bomb position and prepares to drop him, but before the move gets hit, Ryan Cage struggles out, and drops to the mat, pinning Veritas with a crucifix pin.
1.....
2.....
Kickout!
Veritas, still with momentum on his side, was able to kick out easily. But the reversal also gives Ryan Cage a second wind too. Both of them stand and both bounce off the ropes. Both duck their initial attacks and grab onto the ropes.
Randy: These two just don’t seem to be able to out match their opponent.
Then, for some reason, Veritas walks up to Ryan, smacks him hard with a vicious right fist, throws himself up against the ropes, hits a head-scissors take over, and gets up using the ropes. He starts the climb the turnbuckle closest to where Ryan Cage is lying and wastes little time before leaping up. Veritas hits a perfect moonsault on Ryan, but he bounces off with the force of the move and doesn’t have the energy in him to pin. He slowly gets up, knowing Ryan Cage would kick out of the move and picks him up. He slaps Ryan, perhaps to confuse him, perhaps to humiliate him. Veritas grabs Ryan Cage by the head and looks to go for Romans 1:18. Ryan Cage uses all his power to push Veritas back into the turnbuckles and then Ryan Cage catches Veritas off guard in a small package.
JC: 1... 2... 3!!!
RW: Wow! I can’t believe it! Tyler’s undefeated streak is OVER!
JC: Ryan Cage has beaten Tyler to regain the US Title!
Winner and NEW SFT US CHAMPION: Ryan Cage
Post Match Segment
“Last Resort” by Papa Roach hits and The ICON makes his way out onto the stage.
The ICON: Ryan Cage, congrats on the victory. Earlier today I was approached by a man named Emmanuel. He told me that he hates your guts and wants to make an example out of you here at Vendetta. And me, liking the idea of keeping people on the edge of their seats in an “anything can happen” mentality, has decided that you are going to defend the United States Title against this man, and you’re going to do it….RIGHT NOW!
RW: What?!
JC: Cage has to defend his title against Emmanuel and he has to it RIGHT NOW!
RW: Thanks assclown.
Emmanuel rushes the ring and slides in. Cage catches him with a boot to the gut and bounces off the ropes. As he comes back Emmanuel hits him with a devastating Big Boot. Emanuel picks up Cage and Razor Edge’s him over the top rope and to the outside! Cage practically folds in half! Emmanuel goes to the outside and rolls Cage back in. Emmanuel comes in and pins him….1….2….3!!!
RW: What the hell?!
JC: The US Title changes hands TWICE!
RW: How friggin’ fair is that?! Cage just went through a hellacious match with Veritas and had to be subject to this behemoth. He didn’t stand a chance!
JC: And I think ICON knew it. Let’s not forget, ICON and Veritas were in Elite Society together.
RW: Wow, what a night! And it’s not over yet!
Winner and NEW SFT US CHAMPION: Emmanuel
Match Six Dameon vs.
The ICON* Strike Towers Intercontinental Championship Match
The lights go down. Spotlights swirl throughout the arena. Flashes of different color light flash and then everything stops. A big explosion erupts on the stage and "Last Resort" blasts in. The ICON emerges through the smoke and the fans boo like crazy. ICON makes his way down the ramp and into the ring where he poses for the crowd. He hits all four turnbuckles, and then gets ready for his match.
The arena lights dim as the Striketron fills with static, the words "A Revolution in Pain." appear a midst the salt and pepper scheme holding a hue of red, the opening notes of strike out through the PA the arena begins to flash with blood red lights, and as the rest of the guitars slowly join in strobe lights begin to flare in the entry way. Dameon then throws the curtain aside and steps out onto the stage as the vocals roar sending chills down the spines of children and soon to be mothers alike. Dameon throws his arms into the air with Kendo Stick in his left hand, making an "X" with his arms. Dameon then begins to make his way to the ring. "Never too late to stand your ground - Revolution begins In you - In me - Revolution!...BEGINS!!!" Standing about midway down the ramp Dameon begins to point out to the crowd who are half and half cheering and booing for "The Beast" of the SFT. Continuing his way down to ringside Dameon makes his way towards the announcers table, stopping momentarily to look down onto John and Randy, before sliding into the ring, heading to the nearest corner, climbing it, and throwing the "X" above his head once again.
The two enter the ring. And immediately Dameon charges and clothslines Icon to the ground and the Ref Rings the bell.
RW: Icon Wasn’t even ready for that
JC: Dameon seeing the opportunity takes the advantage. Usually Icon plays those kind of tricks.
Icon to his feet spins around and gets dropkicked by Dameon. Icon back to his feet and Dameon goes for a hip toss but Icon blocks it then to the other side hip tosses Dameon. Dameon gets up only to meet a dropkick by Icon. Dameon up again and Icon Nails him with a clothsline and Dameon scoots under the bottom rope to the outside. Icon goes to follow but the ref stops him. The ref begins to count.. 1.….. 2.…..
RW: Dameon re-evaluating the situation
JC: He’s running away like a coward who was getting stomped.
RW: That is not the case.
Dameon climbs the ring steps and looks at the ref and tells the ref to hold Icon back. Dameon slowly gets into the ring. The two men lock up and punch each other around and Dameon backs Icon into the corner the ref starts to count and slowly they break apart clean… Then they lock up again and struggling Icon backs Dameon into the corner. They slowly again break apart clean. The ref tells them to go at it again once they are apart and they Lock up and again Icon slowly backs Dameon into the corner, but Dameon pivots and puts Icon into the ropes.. Again they slowly break apart.. But Dameon full outright slaps Icon right across the face. Icon gets pissed and Dameon runs to the other side and puts his head through the ropes and yells at the ref as Icon Charges but The ref holds him back because Dameon is in the ropes.
Dameon finally gets back in and the two circle each other and just before they lock up Dameon pokes Icon in the eyes, then boots him in the stomach and applies a DDT.
RW: With perfect form Dameon with a DDT.
JC: I must admit even though he cheated it was very well executed.
Dameon off the ropes with a senton splash and covers Icon. One…. Two….. Thr kickout. Dameon grabs Icon by the hair and picks him up as the ref warns him about the hair. And Dameon with a standing dropkick to Icon. Icon reaches for the ropes trying to get up and Dameon with a front flip leg drop onto Icon. Dameon roll shim on his back and covers.. One…. Two.. Kickout. Dameon picks him out without hesitation and shoots Icon off the ropes Icon under Dameon as Dameon with a leap Frog. Dameon then with a back Body Drop but Icon goes over. Dameon turns around and doesn’t see Icon down and Icon nails him with a flying forearm.. The fans cheer. Both men are down. The ref starts a ten count.. One…… two….. Three….. Four….
RW: Icon out of nowhere evens this match out.
JC: I don’t know where he pulled that from.
Six…. Dameon slowly to his feet Icon on one knee. Dameon swings.. Icon blocks and returns fire and stands to his feet and nails Dameon.. And again nails Dameon. Icon With a Scoop Slam to Dameon. Icon goes to climb to the top rope and jumps with a flying elbow and Nails Dameon. Icon with a cover… one…. Two…. Thr shoulder up.
RW: Dameon Kicked out.
JC: I see that.
Icon picks Dameon up and shoots him off the rope Dameon ducks a clothsline. Dameon then ducks a back elbow. Dameon then with a dropkick. Icon Catches it and grabs one leg and pivots into the Boston Crab! Icon right in front of the ropes Dameon in the middle of the ring. The ref looking on. Dameon yelling in pain tries to crawl to the far end of the ring. He moves about a foot and stops as Icon applies more pressure. Dameon rolls through and Icon rolls to the outside. Dameon stays on the offensive as he picks Icon up and throws him in to the ring post. Icon writhes in pain for a minute and Dameon walks over and picks Icon up and throws him into the ring. Dameon slowly stalks Icon, and out of no where Icon attempts a Showstoppa but Dameon catches him and hit’s the Gallow’s End. Out of exhaustion Dameon throws his arm across Icon, and the ref counts.
1..2..3!!!
Winner and NEW SFT IC CHAMPION: Dameon
Lethal Lottery Announcement
Burn by the cure plays over the PA system as the fans stop for a moment and the Strike Tron Lights up… A - Z - R - E - A - L. And the fans Erupt with cheers. A sound that Azreal doesn’t see that often.
RW: We have not seen Azreal on television for quite some time. Other than his recent SFT In Review footage taken last week.
JC: The fans know the things Azreal has done in this Industry and getting the rare chance to see him if even for this one time they respect that.
RW: He is a horrid person, he always has been.
Azreal makes his way to the ring and steps in and looks over the crown with a look of dissapointment. He rips the Microphone away from Summers.
Azreal: My minions, welcome to Vendetta. I know you have not seen me much. But trust in this, you shall. Just around the corner is the Lethal Lottery Tournament. There will be a lot of people making some sort of return. A lot of people no one really knows or remembers or even cares about. However I have reserved a seat in the Lethal Lottery for one person. I have decided to bring someone in for this little event. I can give away a few facts. He is a former World Champion, He is a Hall of Famer. He is without a shadow of a doubt the one man who has THE BEST Shot at winning this tournament.
RW: A Former World Champion and Hall of Famer?
JC: That’s quite the boast.
RW: This had to cost Azreal quite a bit of money. Probably not for him, but to us im sure a pretty penny.
Azreal: You see, all you little people will look up to and admire what this person has done. And like myself you should respect him and his accomplishments. Like him or not. He is hands down the best. He would have no problems Taking down the Likes of that Pathetic Wolf. Or that joke of a man who calls him self Owner of a wrestling company. The best part is, I will personally be there to Manage him and watch his back. I will be his financial backer, and his friend.
RW: So a Hall of famer, a World Champion, and managed by the Slime.. I mean Mastermind Phillip Azreal. This is not good for the SFT.
JC: For once I have to agree. Whoever it is, it cannot be a good sign.
Match Six Dave Van Dam vs.
Dark Wolf* Strike Towers Heavyweight Championship BarbWire Steel Cage Match
The arena sits calm as we come to Amanda Summers standing in the ring.
Amanda Summers: The following match is a Barbwire Steel Cage match an it is for the SFT World Championship!
The crowd gives an applause of insanity as they're sheep like that.
Amanda Summers: The rules for the match are as followed, once both competitors are in the cage the door will be chain shut, and the only way to win is by Pinfall, Submission or by leaving the cage and putting both feet on the ground.
The crowd gives a small cheer as Amanda leaves the ring and the arena lights darken and they slower down the barbwire cage.
RW: That looks rather dangerous.
JC: You think?
RW: Well I'm just thinking out loud, but barbwire is not a playtoy.
JC: Reason we have the 'don't do this at home' RWAs.
RW: I thought we stopped that like five years ago?
The cage is set around the ring as the crew begin to lock it in to place and make sure it's set correctly. Once everything is in place and the ring crew give their hand signals we hear the sounds of Changes" by TuPac begins to play. The crowd get up and begin their booing as Dave Van Dam walks out on to the top of the ramp. He hesitates for a moment as he looks down to the ring and sees the barbwire cage awaiting him. He lets out a big breath and begins to walk down the aisle way towards the cage. Some fans begin to heckle him but for a change he doesn't pay them no mind as he puts his left hand on the steel cage and pulls at it, checking to see if it really is set up right.
Amanda Summers: Introducing first, the challenger, co-owner of Strike Towers, he is Dave Van Dam!
The crowd boo the man as he walks to the right and enters the cage through the second rope. DVD climbs the turnbuckle and climbs up to the top turnbuckle and grabs at the barbwire and pulls his hand back as the sharpness of the barbwire surprises him. He jumps down and shakes his head and loosens his neck as he awaits his opponent.
RW: Dave looks a bit hesitant in there, but he seems focused.
JC: It's going to be a long night for both of them.
The guitar intro to Plowed by Sponge begins as the arena stands on its feet. Fans with their signs peer to get a glimpse of The Dark Wolf. Then the Drum beat picks up The lights dim and as the vocals start The Dark Wolf swiftly lunges out from backstage to a roar from the crowd. He stands there somewhat transformed by who he was and who is is meant to be.
As the arena welcomes him, his focus changes from his re-found fans. To the ring. A smirk runs sidelong on his face as he charges the ring and circles the ring once. Then leaping he pivots turning and sliding his knee on the apron and looks over the crowd once more.
He nods his head and goes into the ring through the ropes to the far side of the ring. The Dark Wolf climbs the corner turnbuckle and poses as the arena lights up with the flash of cameras that is like a free entrance lightshow. He then drops to the ring as the lights come back up and the fans are cheering him so loud its deafening.
Amanda Summers: And introducing his opponent, He is The Strike Towers Heavyweight Champion, The Dark Wolf!
The crowd give a huge roar as Dark Wolf stands at the bottom of the ramp looking in to the ring as DVD is crouched down taunting him to enter. Dark Wolf points to DVD and then down to his championship and shakes his head 'no'.
RW: He's saying it's not going to happen for DVD tonight.
JC: DVD has been striving for this for some time, he wants to add to his already insanely long amount of achievements.
RW: Easily one of the most accomplished athletes SFT has ever seen.
Dark Wolf climbs up the steps and gets in to the ring through the door and walks over to a turnbuckle, removing his championship he lifts it in to the air and shows it to the crowd while looking at DVD . DVD just stares as Dark Wolf kisses the face plate and jumps down from the turnbuckle. He hands the belt over to the referee who lifts it in to the air showing it to the crowd and hands it to the ring crew outside the door as they shut it and wrap two chains around the frame of the cage and the door, padlocking them together.
The bell rings and the two wrestlers stand in their corners as the referee signals them to start. Both of them just stare at one another for a moment as DVD begins to bad mouth Wolf, Wolf responds back with more of the same bad mouthing that DVD sent his way.
RW: Can't win a match by out talking the other.
JC: Not everybody sees it that way.
The two of them begin to circle one another in the ring, Wolf going to the left and DVD following as they circle in a clockwise manner. The two of them stop for a moment before coming together in the center of the ring and locking up in an old collar and elbow tie up. DVD takes advantage, he gets a headlock on Dark Wolf and begins to wrench it. Dark Wolf fights it with a few fists and pulls DVD back to the ropes and bounces him off them, throwing him off as DVD goes across the ring rebounding off the opposite ropes. Dark Wolf goes for a clothesline, DVD ducks it and stops in his tracks reaching behind himself and grabbing Wolf dropping him with a neck breaker!
RW: DVD gets the first offense in of the match.
DVD rolls over and straddles Dark Wolf and begins to reign down on him with fist after fist to the head. Dark Wolf covers up and DVD just keeps bringing down the fists till Dark Wolf is able to block and delivers one of his own knocking DVD up and off of him holding his face. Dark Wolf rushes to get to his feet but DVD delivers a forearm smash to the back of Wolf's head as he's about to get up. Dark Wolf gets knocked a bit loopy from it and DVD grabs him around the head and picks him up then dropping him with a quick brainbuster! DVD hurries and covers Dark Wolf.
1...
No!
RW: It's too early for that, but I think DVD is trying to set the pace.
JC: Or knock Dark Wolf out, either or.
DVD stands up, bringing Dark Wolf with him and goes to run his face in to the cage wall. Dark Wolf puts his hands up and stops the momentum. He elbows DVD in the ribs and grabs him by the back of the head throwing DVD in to the cage. DVD holds his head as Dark Wolf grabs him again and chucks him back in to the cage. DVD holds his head as he leans against the ropes checking for blood. Dark Wolf turns him around holding his head and then delivers a stiff European uppercut. DVD reels back as he leans against the ropes. Dark Wolf delivers another European uppercut that sends the spit out of DVD 's mouth. DVD stumbles over to the turnbuckles with his side to Dark Wolf, leaning against the top turnbuckle. Dark Wolf walks over to him and delivers a few quick shots to the back of DVD 's head. He turns DVD around and hits him square in the jaw with just a straight right. He grabs DVD 's arm and brings him across the ring with an Irish whip to the opposite turnbuckles. The impact causes DVD to wince in pain and slowly walk out of the corner in to Dark Wolf delivering a hellacious Clothesline bringing DVD down to the ground.
RW: Dark Wolf has taken all the moment back.
JC: As well as removed DVD 's head from his shoulders!
Dark Wolf gets down and covers DVD but doesn't even get one. He stands up and grabs DVD and begins to rake his face against the steel cage. He forces DVD 's face in to the mesh as DVD lets out a yell from the feeling of skin ripping away. He throws his leg back and connects between the legs of Dark Wolf! Wolf holds his crotch as he stumbles back and falls on to his side as DVD removes his face from the cage as the scratches begin to bleed slightly.
JC: DVD takes it back just as quickly.
Dark Wolf sits up as DVD comes off the ropes and delivers a low dropkick to the face of Wolf. DVD gets up quickly and grabs Dark Wolf and brings him to his feet and delivers a quick forearm to the neck of Dark Wolf. He throws Dark Wolf in to the DVD and runs after him and delivers a splash. Dark Wolf stumbles from the corner in to DVD 's grasp. DVD spins Dark Wolf around and throws him over the turnbuckles in to the corner of Cage where the walls meet! He comes down and DVD does it two more times. He then grabs Dark Wolf around the waist and moves around so that he and Dark Wolf are facing to the center of the ring. DVD then lifts Dark Wolf and hits a release German suplex in to the cage wall! Dark Wolf falls behind the ropes and is crumbled up as DVD lays there catching his breath.
JC: That's gotta hurt!
With Dark Wolf laying on the canvas between the ropes and the cage DVD stands up and walks across the ring and begins to climb the turnbuckles and searching around through the barbwire. He looks around to see if there is anyway to get out without tearing himself to pieces.
RW: I don't think he's going to find an exit sign.
DVD tries to spread the barbwire and push a way through but the barbs just attack and tear up his hand. He jerks it back and looks it over as the sensation fills his hand. Dark Wolf rolls under the bottom rope and stands up a little groggy as he stares at DVD fooling around with the barbwire. Dark Wolf quickly runs across the ring and surprises DVD from behind with a forearm smash to his lower back. DVD stumbles and gains his balance holding on to the corner of the cage. Dark Wolf climbs up the turnbuckles and just lays in to him with more hard forearms to the back. He grabs DVD 's head an is able to pull it back and locks it in a headlock. He then grabs DVD by his tights and forces him up and comes off the top rope with a reverse suplex! DVD lands face first as Dark Wolf land awkwardly on his upper back and neck from having to force the move. Both men lay on the ground as the referee checks on both of them.
RW: Reverse Suplex from the top rope! DVD 's face just ate nothing but canvas!
JC: This is a good time to mention to the kiddies watching, eat lots of fiber!
RW: What the hell is wrong with you tonight? You were normal all night, now you're just strange.
JC: I ran out of happy pills.
After about a minute Dark Wolf is able to drag himself over to DVD . He rolls DVD over and covers him but only gets a two count! Dark Wolf slides off of DVD and drags himself over to the ropes and starts pulling himself up as DVD does the same on the other side of the ring. Dark Wolf gets up as DVD leans against the top rope holding his face. Dark Wolf charges DVD , he gets to DVD and crashes in to him with a running elbow! DVD falls to one knee as Dark Wolf picks him back up and grabs him by the back of the head and throws him in to the cage! Dark Wolf pulls DVD out from the ropes and the cage, picking him up and then dropping him down to the ground with a bodyslam. He runs to the ropes and comes off with an elbow drop straight to the chest of DVD .
JC: Dark Wolf has taken over control of this one once again.
Dark Wolf gets up and goes to the turnbuckles and starts to climb up them to inspect the barbwire for himself. He looks around for a moment before he grabs the barbwire as safely as he can manage and begins to pull at the wire. He pulls it so much that part of the wire tightens around the cage but the strand of wire he pulls doesn't snap or break it just now hangs over the corner edge of the cage just over the turnbuckle. He tries to climb the cage an once he lays his arm over the top of the cage it comes in to contact with the tightened barbwire. He quickly reacts and pulls his arm off the cage and stares at it as it begins to bleed from him pulling his arm off with the quick jerk. He climbs down the ropes and inspects his arm as DVD stands up behind him.
RW: Dark Wolf better turn around, DVD is up an I don't think he wants to hug.
DVD runs at Dark Wolf and hits him with the back spear! The forces crashes Dark Wolf in to the turnbuckles and he hits his jaw on the top turnbuckle as his back bends underneath his head. DVD falls over the bottom rope and lays between the cage and ropes as Dark Wolf just lays in the corner next to him.
JC: Back spear by DVD !
RW: If he can pin him it's over!
DVD , slow to move is able to get back in the ring crawling over the first rope and pushing Dark Wolf over. He drags him a little bit from the ropes and makes the cover holding his leg.
1...
2...
.no!
RW: He kicked out!
DVD sits up off the pin as Dark Wolf lays there with his right shoulder up off the ground laying on his side as DVD looks around in shock. DVD finds his way to his feet and walks over to the turnbuckle with the pulled down barbwire and climbs his way up. He looks at Dark Wolf's handy work and then back down at Dark Wolf before he gets down on the second turnbuckle with his right foot and his left still on the top. He pulls his left pant leg up and exposes something taped to the side of his leg! He pulls off the tape that holds it there and exposes it to be a small pair of wire cutters!
JC: DVD has wire cutters!
RW: Probably smart to bring with you to a match with barbwire!
DVD begins to snap off the strand of barbwire Dark Wolf pulled through the beams of the cage. Dark Wolf has managed to get to one knee as he looks up and sees what DVD is doing. Quickly with a burst of adrenaline he jumps up and pushes DVD in to the corner with barbwire! The upper chest and left side of DVD 's face connect with the wire as DVD lets out a yelp! His skin tearing as the barbwire pulls, he falls off the wire and crotches himself on the top turnbuckle as blood begins to pour from his face and chest.
RW: DVD is bleeding rather bad from that barbwire!
JC: I don't think his wedding pictures are going to be very nice.
DVD has dropped the wire cutters that now sit on the apron of the ring as only one part of the strand has been snap an is free now. Dark Wolf, who is still down on the canvas, reaches down and grabs the wire cutters as DVD holds his crotch and face. Dark Wolf now with wire cutters in hand pulls DVD so that he's in the tree of woe. Dark Wolfhen begins to climb the turnbuckles over DVD , not forgetting to step and keep his foot on DVD 's nether regions.
RW: Oww!
DVD yells out as Dark Wolf stands on them and unsnaps the other strand of Barbwire that now frees a good size strand of barbwire! Dark Wolf gets down from the turnbuckles and DVD 's nuts and holds the barbwire out for the fans to see as they give a roaring cheer. DVD falls out of the tree of woe and down to the canvas as his blood stains the canvas. Dark Wolf walks over to DVD and drags him out of the corner and straddles him. He then takes the barbwire and begins to rake it across the forehead of DVD ! DVD screams out in pain, kicking his legs and grabbing on to Dark Wolf's arms as his flesh is ripped from the bone! The blood begins to flow like water as DVD 's head is just left open.
JC: That's horrible!
RW: To think people think this is fake!
JC: The nerve!
Dark Wolf gets off of DVD as he throws down the strand of barbwire on to the canvas, it curls up a little bit as he falls in to it's old shape. Dark Wolf gets off of DVD and drags him to his feet.
RW: What does Dark Wolf have in store now? That three foot strand of Barbwire has changed the course of this match quite suddenly!
Dark Wolf locks DVD 's head under his arm and looks for Change the Game! DVD reverses it however! He somehow finds the strength to lift Wolf and drop him stomach first on to the barbwire! Dark Wolf now lets out the yell as he sits up immediately on his knees with the barbwire sticking from his gut!
RW: Two time winner of King of the Death Match, DVD knows how to be violent like this, it's nothing new!
DVD grabs the strand and jerks it from Dark Wolf's stomach as Wolf once again lets out with a yell as he folds his arms across his stomach, kicking his legs, as the pain shoots through his body. DVD drops the strand of wire down as he begins to stomp down on Dark Wolf's mid section. He brings Dark Wolf up to his feet and brings him down just as quickly with a short clothesline. He pulls Dark Wolf around so that his head is near the spool of wire. He grabs Dark Wolf's arms and he pulls him up so that his face and chest are off the ground but his legs remain flat to the ground. He then puts his foot behind Dark Wolf's head and drives Dark Wolf's face down in to the wire with a curb stomp!
JC: Jesus!
RW: That had to hurt!
JC: I think you can tell cause Dark Wolf is screaming.
RW: Thank you Sherlock.
With Dark Wolf screaming the wire stays there attached to his face as DVD walks over to the turnbuckles that they got the strand from and begins to climb as well as the cage!
JC: DVD is going to try and escape since that strand of wire is gone!
RW: DVD could be looking at another championship!
DVD climbs the corner and finds a relatively safe spot to climb through still catching his pants on some of the barbwire as he brings his legs over and sits on top of the cage. Dark Wolf is up to his knees, with the wire still attached to his face he sees DVD and stumbles over to the turnbuckles and tries to reach DVD , but DVD just moves his leg over the railing of the cage and climbs down half the cage before jumping down and falling to the floor as blood pools on the mat outside!
Winner and NEW SFT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: Dave Van Dam
Vendetta Closing
RW: What a match. This match will surely go down as one of the best in recent history.
JC: I think DVD is unaware of what just happened, but he's once again the new SFT Heavyweight Champion.
The referee hands Dave the title and DVD holds it up in the air, completely exhausted.
RW: Ladies and Gentlemen, Vendetta has come to an end and I think it's safe to say it exceeded our expectations!
JC: You're damn right, what a show. So many titles change hands, so many returns...
RW: We saw Lucretia Black, Jared Mayer, Shawn Walsh, Kyle Murphy...Azreal has a mystery entrant into the Lottery...
