Tuesday Night Titans With John Cartwright & Randy White 11th April 2006 8:00pm Live From The Martin Harris Arena Brighton, England |
JC: Good evening ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to a jam packed evening here on Tuesday Night Titans. I'm John Cartwright, and along side me is Randy White.... RW: That's right baby, I'm here, oh yeah..... JC: Do you think for just one show, just one show we could get along? RW: What you mean be friends and stuff like that? JC: Yeah RW: Ermm, well ok I'll try...... |
Sean Mason vs. Aidan Morag |
The lights goes out and then Red sirens go off. "I am Invincible!!!" "Invincible" by Static X blasts over the arena's P.A. system as out steps "The ICON" Sean Mason appears to a enormous crowd reaction of boos. He walks down the aisle and to the ring apron as he leaps up onto the ring and has the ring announcer hold up the second rope as he slides through it. He gets on the turnbuckles and poses for the crowd. RW: Mason sure does look ready for this match…… The lights dim just a little as Slipknot's My Plague begins to play over the loud speaker. Track lighting is racing around the arena as the intro plays. Soon after the song begins Aidan comes out from backstage and charges towards the ring. He slides into the ring crawls to a corner. JC: Ok, well both guys are ready, surly it’s time to get the match underway. The ref calls for the bell and the match begins……. Mason straight away starts taking it to Morag with some hard left and rights, but Morag gets in there with a suplex sending Mason down to the mat. Now he starts to hammer away at the head with his foot and it’s not long before Mason has rolled out of the ring. Morag looks very pleased with himself as he looks out around the arena, but Mason is quickly back in the ring and face to face with Morag taking him by surprise. JC: Great skill from Morag, but it looks as though it’s going to take way more than that to keep Sean Mason down that’s for sure. Mason now performs his own suplex followed by a spine buster, then a belly to back suplex. Morag tries to counter but Mason hits him with a hard right to the race and goes for the quick cover….. 1…….. 2…….. Kick out……. RW: Damn, that was nearly it….. Mason looks at the ref and starts to argue with him, but in this time Morag has made it to his feet and nails Mason in the back of the head. He then turns him around and throws him into the ring ropes, on hi return he goes for a right foot to the face, but Mason stops it early, and before anyone knows what’s happened he dives down to the floor, takes out Morag’s leg and rolls him into a cover. The ref again starts to count…. 1……… 2…….. 3…….. the ref calls for the bell……… JC: Wow, this match is over…… RW: Clever move by Mason that’s for sure…. JC: Certainly was. Mason gets to victory here, and ends up looking good doing it. Great match to start of this weeks action….. |

Winner: Sean Mason |

Slash Slater vs. Shane Clemmens (Number 1 for TV Title) |
JC: well, it’s time for our second match now, and this promises to be a good one to see who will be the number one contender for the TV Title. Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, due to a change in circumstances, I can now announce that the following match will no longer be for the number one contender ship for the TV Title. RW: What’s going on John? JC: Beats me… Announcer: Now instead, the winner of this match will be crowned the NEW TV Champion…. RW: WOW JC: Don’t switch away folks, seems he now have a Title match right here on Titans, and that’s got to shake up our two competitors…. "Rainmaker" by Iron Maiden begins to start up over the PA. After a few moments, the crowd starts to get on their feet for Slash Slater. Slash taunts the crowd and with a rush of energy, rushes into the ring. He steps up onto the top turnbuckle and taunts the crowd. RW: Well Slater certainly looks ready, but then again he always does. Suddenly, there is a scream from the crowd, and Shane Clemmens comes out of nowhere and is in the ring straight away hitting away at Slater. The ref quickly calls for the bell…. JC: Clemmens looks as ready as ever, there’s no hanging around here in this title match. Clemmens gets some left and right hands, however Slater manages to counter, throwing Clemmens into the ropes and hitting a clothesline on his return. He brings him back up to his feat, but one quick punch in the gut gives Clemmens the upper hand. He then starts going with left and rights to the face, and now throws later into the rope, only to be hit by a jack hammer when he comes back, and Clemmens is now down on the mat in pain. Slater quickly goes down and gets a head lock on Clemmens, and the ref is down on the mat checking to see if this match and continue… RW: This could be the end of things right here, Slater looks locked in tight….. Clemmens uses all his guts and finally manages to get a hand on the rope, and the ref makes Slater break the hold. Slater does not look very happy, and straight away brings Clemmens back to his feat. However Clemmens uses all his energy left to get a right kick into the gut, and now it’s Slater down on the mat in pain….. JC: What a match. These guys really are energised by the thought of being new TV Champion. Clemmens has now regrouped himself and goes to pick up Slater, he takes him to the middle of the ring and performs a perfect piledriver which leaves Slater down and out. Clemmens then quickly goes for the cover….. 1…….. 2…….. Kick out…… RW: Now way….. JC: How did he kick out from that? Clemmens gets back on his feat, looks out at the crowd and then suddenly throws himself into the ring rope and comes back with a perfect leg drop on Slater and once again goes for the cover…… 1……. 2……. 3……. The ref calls for the bell….. JC: It’s over. We have a new champion ladies and gentlemen, and that champion comes in the shape of Shane Clemmens….. Clemmens holds the title high in the air for the arena to see, and slowly starts to make his ay back up the ramp leaving Slash Slater down and out in the ring…. RW: Well done to our new champion, and there is plenty more where this came from I can assure you. Great match, and what a Tuesday Night we are having….. |

makes an X with his arm in the air. He starts to walk down the ramp. Mid
