Saga vs. Rich Morrison vs. Corey Thompson
(Triple Threat Match)

JC: Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen, you join us here tonight for what promises to be an historic edition of SFT’s Wednesday Night War. My name is John Cartwright, the man alongside me is Randy White, and we are your hosts for this evening.

RW: Thanks John, and any discussion of tonight’s show must of course start with our Main Event, a rematch from the Genesis Pay-Per-View which will pit Havoc, Kamikaze and Louis Cypher against each other in the steel cage which you see hanging above the ring, the with biggest prize in this sport, the Strike Fantasy Towers World Heavyweight Championship, the prize for whichever man can escape the steel first.

JC First though, we have four other great matches to bring you, starting with a Triple Threat contest between three of the top young up-and-comers here in SFT, so without further ado, let’s send it up to the ring.

The arena lights go down as the camera focuses on the entrance stage, ready for the commencement of the night’s action.

Ring Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is a Triple Threat match, scheduled for 1 fall. Introducing first, from Union, New Jersey, standing 6 feet tall, and weighing it at 199lbs, SAGA!!!

Red lights begin to flash around the entrance stage as Local H’s “Bigger” plays over the PA System and Saga makes his way into the arena to boos from the crowd. Sprinting down the ramp, he slides under the bottom rope into the ring and stands ready, awaiting his opponents.

Ring Announcer: Now introducing the second participant in this match, fighting out of Manhattan, New York, standing 5’11’ tall, and weighing 231 lbs, ‘NEW MONEY’ RICH MORRISON!!!

Saga’s music fades out to be replaced by The Who’s “Teenage Wasteland”, but the booing from the crowd remains consistent as Rich Morrison makes his way out onto the stage through a cloud of smoke, accompanied by his manager, Juliana. The two pause for a few seconds, soaking up the crowd reaction before making their way down the ramp, hand-in-hand. Upon reaching the ring, Morrison climbs the steps and again pauses for a second or two before stepping through the ropes and giving Saga an evil look as they prepare themselves for combat.

Ring Announcer: Finally, the third participant for this match. He hails from Boston, Massachusetts, weighs in at 239lbs, and stands 6’2’’ tall; he is ‘THE SERIAL THRILLER’ COREY THOMPSON!!!

This time, it’s The Who’s time to fade out, replaced by P.O.D’s Set It Off (Tweaker Remix), signalling the entrance of the debuting Corey Thompson. Thompson makes his way out to a more mixed reaction than was afforded to either of the other two participants and slowly walks down the ramp, his eyes never moving from the two men in the ring. Sliding under the bottom rope, he finds himself the victim of an impromptu double team attack of stomps and kicks before he can get back to his feet. The music fades away, and the lights return to normal as we hear the bell sound.

JC: In a Triple Threat environment, that’s the unfortunate consequence of being the last man into the ring, you have two opponents ready and waiting to grab any advantage that they can.

Fairly predictably though, the alliance doesn’t last long, as Saga and Morrison quickly turn their attention to each other, starting with Morrison blasting Saga with an open-handed slap across the face and quickly having the favour returned. As they engage in a furious fistfight, it gives Thompson the chance to climb to his feet and recuperate from the attack while planning his next move.

RW: What you saw right there is another key feature of Triple Threat matches, and that’s the fact that any alliances formed by competitors very rarely last for more than about 30 seconds at a time.

Eventually, Morrison wilts under the pressure of Saga’s assault and rolls from the ring to catch his breath, as Saga turns around, right into a clothesline from the waiting Corey Thompson.

RW: Great strategy there from Corey Thompson, he waited for Saga and Morrison to batter each other and then was ready and waiting to deal with what was left.

Thompson capitalises on his opportunity by elbow-dropping Saga before picking him up and drilling him with an atomic drop. During all this however, Morrison has slid back into the ring and is waiting for his opportunity to strike. Unfortunately for Morrison though, it doesn’t quite go to plan, as Thompson is quickly aware of his presence and drills “New Money” with a quick superkick.

RW: Right now, Mr. “New Money” seems more than a little bankrupt.

JC: Yeah, I guess he just has to hope that Juliana can give him some assistance and get him back into the game before it’s too late.

Thompson then turns back towards Saga, but instead of attacking him, the two exchange a few words before turning on Rich Morrison together. They pin Morrison into a corner and take turns at drilling him with kicks, chops and punches to both head and body. Thompson then moves to the centre of the ring as Saga whips Morrison towards him, allowing Thompson to blast him with a power slam. Thompson makes the cover and gets 2, but then Saga breaks up the cover with a leg drop, prompting Thompson to nip up and confront Saga. The two have an exchange of words, which is just about threatening to turn into an exchange of blows, when Rich Morrison intercedes by grabbing the heads of the two men and slamming then together.

RW: Just goes to show how quick things can turn around, all of a sudden, Rich Morrison is right back into this.

Morrison, however, seems either unwilling, or unable to capitalise on his newfound advantage as he stands back in admiration of what he’s done, allowing Thompson and Saga time to recover and deck him with a double clothesline before resuming their hostilities with each other. Thompson backs Saga into a corner and begins to unload left hands without answer, but when Saga finally does counter, its with a huge right which staggers Morrison and sends him stumbling across the ring, where is nailed with a low blow on the ref’s blindside, by a still half-stunned Rich Morrison.

RW: I guess we ain’t gonna be seeing any new members to the Thompson family any time soon.

JC: Who knows, maybe some good health insurance and sort that little problem out.

Suddenly, Rich Morrison’s manager, Juliana, climbs up onto the ring apron, immediately catching Saga’s attention as her client sets up for one of his trademark moves, the C-Note Stunner, on a groggy Corey Thompson.

RW: If Morrison hits this, it could well be over, and all the while, Saga is distracted by Juliana.

JC: That’s the advantage of having a manager Randy.

Unfortunately for Rich Morrison, his well-laid plan goes distinctly pear-shaped as Thompson manages to grab his opponent’s foot and counter the attempted C-Note Stunner into his own trademark more, the Disasterpiece, before making the cover.

ONE!

TWO!!

THREE!!!

Saga turns away from Juliana just in time to see the referee slapping the mat for the third time, and Juliana, for her part, has a look of horror on her face as she realised just how wrong her plan has gone.

RW: Well, I guess that wasn’t the intended result for Morrison and Juliana, but you have to give Corey Thompson credit for being able to capitalise, and grab the first of what could be a lot of wins here in SFT.

Winner: Corey Thompson via pinfall

Match.II
Precious vs. Regina Eisley
(Standard Match)

JC: Well, that was a great way to start out, and things are only going to get better in our next match, which pits two of the finest female competitors in SFT against each other, with the Number 1 Contender’s spot for Sean Mason’s SFT National Heavyweight Title up for grabs for the winner.

The lights in the arena go down as the camera moves up to show the entrance stage. Ring Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for 1 fall, and is for the Number 1 Contendership for the SFT National Title. Introducing first, from Greenwich, Connecticut, standing 5’7’’ and 135lbs, she is a former SFT Television Champion, PRECIOUS!!!

TLC’s “I’m Good At Being Badd” blasts over the PA as Precious makes her way out into the arena to a mixed reaction, but with more cheers than boos, from the crowd in attendance. She walks slowly down the ramp, slides into the ring and climbs each of the four turnbuckles in turn, posing briefly at the top of each one before climbing down and standing in the middle of the ring to await her opponent.

The camera moves back to the entrance stag as Precious’ music fades out, but instead of David Bowie’s “Rebel, Rebel” starting up to signal the entrance of Regina Eisley, the arena is filled with the opening notes of “Cocky” by Kid Rock as the entrance video for SFT’s Head Of Talent Relations plays on the video screen.

RW: What the hell?

JC(looking at the video wall): That’s not Regina Eisley.

RW: No kidding, what gave it away?

As the fans stare at the entrance stage, waiting to see what will unfold, Precious is leaning against the ring ropes, looking up the ramp with a look of extreme confusion on her face.

Eventually, the owner of the music, SFT’s Talent Relations Officer, Christian Cage, strolls out onto the stage in a black Armani suit, open-neck black shirt and his trademark sunglasses (even in the absence of any sun), and carrying a microphone in his left hand. The sight of Cage seems to confuse Precious even more.

RW: Oh god, please don’t tell me that this is another one of those “Talent Relation” jobs that we saw a few weeks back with those two rookies.

JC: Well if you shut up, we might find out what’s going on.

Christian Cage: Hey, hey cut the music.

Kid Rock fades away and the lights return to normal as Cage waits for the crowd to calm down se he can speak.

Christian Cage: Well, as you may possibly have guessed, I ain’t Regina Eisley, and I’m sorry to say that she couldn’t be here tonight.

The crowd boos at this announcement.

RW: You know, I have a lot of questions for Christian Cage, just lately he’s been seen having contact with both Allisa O’Toole and Grizzly Z, who is of course involved with Regina Eisley, which could add another dimension to what we’re seeing here.

Christian Cage: Oh, and Precious, I’m sorry to have to disappoint you, but I ain’t our here as Regina’s replacement, meaning that I ain’t about to get physical with you, much as you’d love me to. Incidentally, this does of course mean that you are now, by default, the new Number 1 Contender to the SFT National Championship, so congratulations on that.

Cage turns around and heads backstage as his music starts up, leaving Precious to celebrate her “victory” in the ring. A camera follows Cage into the locker room area, where a team from SFT News is waiting for him.

Reporter: Excuse me, Mr. Cage, do you have a moment?

Christian Cage: Depends on what you want that particular moment for.

Reporter: Well, I was just wondering if you could tell us what’s going on here.

Christian Cage: What’s going on? Well, this here is a wrestling show; we have wrestlers, and staff and matches and entertain a whole lot of people. That’s pretty much the easiest way to sum up what’s going on right now.

Reporter: That’s not quite what I meant.

Christian Cage: Well maybe you wanna explain yourself a little better then.

Reporter: Well, I was referring to the “sightings” of you with Allisa O’Toole and Grizzly Z just lately.

Christian Cage: Sightings? Do I look like Elvis or a UFO to you? People don’t go around reporting on “Christian Cage sightings” and if anyone does, then I’m pretty freaked out. In answer to the question I think you meant to ask, yes, I could tell you what’s going on, but I’m not going to,, other than to say that I’m the Talent Relations Officer here in SFT, it’s my job to talk to the wrestlers. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I got a lot to do.

Cage abruptly turns and walks away.

Winner: Precious

Match.III
Bane vs. Drogden
(Standard Match)

As "Another Brick in the Wall" starts playing smoke covers the stage as Drogden steps on the stage wearing a long black coat with his head down. With the music kicks in he lets out a huge scream and runs to the ring. He then stares down his opponent rubbing his hands together until the bell rings.

Arena lights dim, the Tron comes on with a picture of Bane in the distance heading twords the front of screen (simular to Chris Jeracho entrance) the sound of thunder is heard, lightning hits the ramp as Bane walks out with Bones his manager by his side.

JC: Here we go with Drogden versus Bane.

RW: This should be a good one with both these former fallen ones members.

Bane and Drogden measure each other up before they lock up. Bane gets the advantage with a knee to the midsection following up with a headlock. Drogden picks up Bane but isn't able to hold him in the air for long. Bane moves around wrapping his arms tighter around the head of Drogden.
